Cette initiative a permis de tester une approche qui combine l'irrigation par goutte-à-goutte et un pivot. Soumya Gupta writes that the CCPA took this action after users complained about receiving perishable items close to or after their expiry dates.After a long and contentious battle, the Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority of India has approved the Burman family's proposed acquisition of Religare, reports Anirudh Laskar. This nod marks a significant step towards the Burmans' takeover of Religare. Only approvals from the banking and market regulators are now pending. This week we had the idea of making a breakout for IrDA data transfer: this is an older infrared bi-directional protocol that can mimics UART-like behavior with RX and TX running at 115.2Kbps. It could be useful for projects where you want to make a link between two boards but don't want the expect, complexity or overhead over RF. Cette semaine on revisite un projet passé, mais pas si passé que ça puisque le rapport vient tout juste d'être publié. Pour l'occasion on reçoit notre collègue et co-auteur du rapport Jérémie Vallée qui est professionnel de recherche à l'IRDA. Ce projet s'intitule« Irrigation des plantes fourragères : outiller le milieu pour qu'il puisse prendre les bonnes décisions »ou comme nous l'appelons plus simplement: IrriFoin. C'est un projet qui se décline en deux principaux objectifs, d'une part, celui de mesurer l'impact du stress hydrique sur le développement, le prélèvement en eau, le rendement et la qualité de plantes fourragères et d'autre part, de définir les contextes (prix des terres, systèmes d'irrigation, prix du foin, etc.) où la rentabilité de l'irrigation peut s'exprimer, tout en y incluant les besoins de stockage en eau d'irrigation. Carl nous fait d'abord la genèse du projet tandis que Jérémie tente de nous expliquer plus concrètement comment on s'y est pris pour mesurer les différents impacts. Finalement, tous ensemble on tente de synthétiser l'analyse économique réalisée pour ce projet et  on profite également du dernier épisode de la 1ere saison pour souligner le 1er anniversaire du podcast (EAU)trement dit. 25 ans d'existence pour l'IRDA et un 10e épisode pour (EAU)trement dit, ça se fête! Pour l'occasion, on reçoit le père de l'équipe de régie de l'eau de l'institut de recherche: l'agronome Daniel Bergeron. Ce collaborateur de longue date de l'IRDA se présente et nous brosse un portrait historique de l'irrigation au Québec. On discute avec lui de son intérêt pour le domaine, de son meilleur coup en carrière, ainsi que des enjeux qui guettent les producteurs dans l'avenir...ou plus rapidement qu'on pense.

 Cette semaine c'est un épisode très spécial. Effectivement, l'enregistrement du balado a été fait en direct à l'AGA de L'IRDA. C'est donc dire, que la formule va un peu changer. Dans cet épisode,Les chercheurs Carl Boivin, Caroline Côté, Vincent Philion, Stéphane Godbout, Simon Ricard et la chargée de projet Catherine Bossé de l'IRDA seront présents afin de discuter de la gestion et de l'utilisation de l'eau à la ferme, qui est un important défi pour les agriculteurs québécois. Différentes pratiques ayant pour but d'assurer la pérennité et la qualité de cette ressource voyageant dans nos bassins versants et transitant souvent par les fermes du Québec seront abordées. De plus, cette présentation sera enregistrée et diffusée dans un épisode spécial du nouveau balado de l'IRDA (Eau)trement dit. Pour la cause, Félix laisse son micro d'animateur à Caroline côté, chercheuse et coordonnatrice aux partenariats et à l'innovation à l'IRDA, pour se retirer derrière la console puisque c'est la première fois qu'on enregistre en direct. 

Cette semaine on reste en famille, on reçoit Antoine Lamontagne technicien agricole dans l'équipe de régie de l'eau de L'IRDA. Antoine lâche la construction de sa maison le temps d'un épisode, pour venir nous raconter son parcours et nous parler du projet Irri8. Tous ensemble, on revisite le rapport d'un projet passé et on explique l'importance du choix de la variété de pomme de terre dans une stratégie de gestion de l'eau. Bonne écoute!

Cette semaine on reçoit Jérémie Vallée, professionnel de recherche dans l'équipe de recherche en régie de l'eau de L'IRDA. Il vient nous raconter son parcours professionnel, ainsi que ce qui a été fait par rapport au projet PAD avec l'Association des producteurs de fraises et de  framboises du Québec (APFFQ) l'été dernier. Dans le 2e segment, on reçoit Jennifer Crawford, directrice de l'APFFQ, qui vient nous parler de l'association et du projet. Ce projet a été financé par le ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l'Alimentation dans le cadre du programme Prime-Vert.

Restaurants are again teeming with diners, airports with fliers and markets with life. More and more people are now stepping out and loosening their purse strings, breathing new life into pandemic-ravaged sectors. The central government too has asked all states to relax or do away with additional restrictions as the active cases hovered close to two lakh 50 thousand.
