Los Angeles Angels fans are waiting for the Halos to make some impactful moves, but so far, they've really only added depth pieces for the 2024 season. Although it's not flashy or exciting, they are necessary moves to get the Angels through 162 games, and the names they've added aren't the worst depth pieces in the world. While fans know the Angels certainly deal with their fair share of injuries every season, they can take comfort in the fact that they have capable backups to take any spots hurt by an IL stint. On today's show, we'll take a look at the names, including Jake Marisnick, Chad Wallach, DJ Snelten, and Tayron Guerrero, to name a few, give you what stands out about each, the concerns that come with each one, and how they'll be helpful to the team in 2024. The Los Angeles Dodgers signed outfielder Jake Marisnick to a contract on Thursday. Marisnick is notable for two reasons: 1) He was on the 2017 Houston Astros team that cheated to win the World Series; and 2) He's not a good hitter. Seems like a weird fit for L.A., but we talk about it. We also talk about the rumors that the Dodgers are interested in White Sox pitcher Lucas Giolito, a SoCal native who grew up going to games at Dodger Stadium. One of the people told The Associated Press on Wednesday night that Williams agreed to a six-year contract. The people spoke on condition of anonymity because the agreement had not been announced. Indy 500 – Fan whose car was damaged by flying tire at Indy 500 will receive new ride An Indianapolis 500 fan whose vehicle was damaged when a tire flew off a racecar and out of the track during the race will receive a new car. An Indianapolis Motor Speedway spokesperson tells The Indianapolis Star that Penske Entertainment will provide fan Robin Matthews with a new car. The wheel came off with less than 20 laps to go in Sunday's race when Felix Rosenqvist and Kyle Kirkwood collided. Kirkwood's left rear tire bounced off the track and over the fence in the second turn before landing in a parking lot. The wheel traveled about 350 yards before crashing into the front of Matthews' parked Chevrolet. The White Sox recently acquired Jake Marisnick and he might very well be destined for AAA Charlotte however can he be the outfield depth that the Sox are looking for this season? Lucas Giolito is essentially pitching for a contract and the White Sox might not be the team that gives it to him but Mike Clevinger is trying to restart his career. Who has more to prove in 2023? Jerry Reinsdorf is well know for his loyalty and has kept Kenny Williams, along with Rick Hahn, on the payroll for far too long. Will Reinsdorf ever consider bringing in leadership from organizations that have demonstrated consistent success? And, with the White Sox still looking to make a trade this off-season, could Eloy Jimenez be someone that gets dealt?Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Built BarBuilt Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar. Though we express our concerns of its validity, Bryse Wilson has had a solid string of successful starts since returning to the majors and today's was quite possibly his in a Pirates uniform. He held the Orioles to just 1-run while lasting 6 innings. Something he hasn't done much of this season is miss bats, but today he was also able to strike out 5.Last night we discussed how this offense goes wherever Bryan Reynolds and Oneil Cruz takes them. Funny how just 16 hours later they own us as 7 of the RBI's came from other players. What was nice to see today is Oneil Cruz in the cleanup role, though Tyler suggests maybe a better spot for him. Somehow or another we go down a rabbit hole discussing the better player between Greg Allen, Jarrod Dyson, & Jake Marisnick as well.

our straight and 9 in their last 14 have the Bucco's won. Today was a bullpen game as Roansy Contreras was optioned last week and they came through pretty strong once again. Stratton pitched and well enough to hand the ball over to Dillon Peters who returned from the IL and impressed once again. David Bednar was able to close it out for his 16th save of the season.Offensively, the Pirates did just enough but it was once again Jake Marisnick who went deep for the second time in as many games since his return. Tyler and DiNardo discuss Kevin Newman and his potential importance to Oneil Cruz in the infield. Is maybe keeping Newman around to play 2B not so bad after all? How about Jason Delay continuing his play and the defense he provides this club behind the dish?

Today may have arguably been the best start by Mitch Keller as he went 7 full innings and Tyler & DiNardo discuss just what  about it was so impressive. Besides Keller's 2-seamer still impressing, he has started to add and tweak even more to his pitch mix. To close out his 3rd save of the year, Yerry De Los Santos came in during another high leverage spot and got 4 outs by strikeouts in his 1.1 innings pitched. How about the return of the Kevin Newman and now Jake Marisnick? Newman has been producing since his return and finished today with 3 hits while Marisnick coming fresh off the IL finished with a double, home run, and a stolen base. Is there potentially any trade value in either of them and what would a return possibly be?Let's also not leave out this pleasantly performing catcher on this roster now in Jason Delay. Known for the glove, and boy have we seen some of it so far, he hit his 3rd double on the year as we discuss why he should finish the year in Pittsburgh
