As we approach the end of our season, we are airing a fave from earlier in the year. In this episode, we shine a light on Whitney Geller and Yasemin Emory, co-founders of Jems, a non-toxic condom company with gender-inclusive packaging and language.Yasemin and Whitney, who had already been operating their own design agency, noticed a gap in the market while searching for contraception options between their pregnancies. The condom aisle lacked appeal due to its outdated packaging and language – the category was targeting straight men only, with products that hadn't been updated in decades, and left women and gay folks out of the conversation altogether. As a result, they embarked on a mission to revolutionize the industry. Jems isn't just about condoms; it's a platform for expansive education, sparking conversations on everything from sexual health to love, power, and beyond. With a commitment to simplicity and transparency, Jems is normalizing safer sex with condoms that are healthier and cater to everyone's needs. This season of our podcast is brought to you by TD Canada Women in Enterprise. This is as legendary as legendary gets. Led Zeppelin at the LA Forum, June 23, 1977 is one of the most popular, and famous, bootleg recordings out there. The quality of Mike Millard's master recording is matched by the quality of the bands' performance. The first four songs are from the Barry Goldstein master tape, which is almost as good as Millard's. It really ties the room together, as it were. I play Nobody's Fault But Mine, a serene and sublime Ten Years Gone, and a muy fuerte Achilles' Last Stand. It's nice to hear this show with even better clarity. All thanks to the JEMS taping group for curating and preserving these precious recordings.

Bram Duffee, PhD, interviews Sarah E. Fabiano, MD, the medical director for JEMS, about the current EMS landscape in research and practice.
This is an incredible recording from Saint Mike Millard on his blessed Nakamichi, of Led Zeppelin at the LA Forum on March 27, 1975. This is one of the legendary marathon shows, running more than 3 hours, in gorgeous full stereo. This is a fresh transfer made by JEMS and lightly mastered by DADGAD. It's a keeper for sure. I play a funky Over The Hills and Far Away and glorious improvisational No Quarter for us, as a taster for the full show, which is available below. Jonesy and Bonzo are perfectly synced in this amazing recording. You'll dig it.
Whitney Geller is Co-founder and Partner of Whitman Emorson, a Toronto-based design studio focused on solving complex problems with a human touch. She is also Co-founder of Jems, a female-founded, body-safe condom and lube product line. Whitney has worked at the forefront of strategic design with global clients such as MTV, Coca-Cola, Oprah Winfrey, and the Mayo Clinic while at Bruce Mau Design. Yasemin Emory is Co-founder and Partner of Whitman Emorson. It is a team of designers, strategists, writers, editors, and creative thinkers bound by the desire to produce thoughtful and responsive work. She is also Co-founder of Jems, built on the desire to naturalize sex and condom use and disrupt a toxic industry. Previously, Yasemin served as the Senior Director of CO-OP and Associate Art Director at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. In this episode… Have you ever wondered how groundbreaking companies are born? Can an idea that challenges the status quo transform not only an industry, but perceptions as well? Whitney Geller and Yasemin Emory unpack this notion by sharing their story of transitioning from leading the successful design agency Whitman Emorson to challenging stereotypes in the safer sex industry with their brand, Jems Condoms. The duo addresses the lack of representation and dated messaging in the existing market, combining their design prowess with a mission to make condom buying and use more approachable and stigma-free. By cultivating a collaborative studio culture and ambitious leadership at Whitman Emorson, they granted themselves the freedom to venture into the product space, driven by values and a desire to make an impact. In this episode of Inspired Insider Podcast, Dr. Jeremy Weisz interviews Whitney Geller and Yasemin Emory, Co-founders of Whitman Emorson, about their entrepreneurial journey from running a creative agency to launching a safer sex brand. They share how they navigated the complexities of creating a start-up without compromising the integrity and success of their original agency, setting a culture that embraces a life-work balance, and tackling regulatory challenges in advertising condoms.

This a brand new transfer from Mike Millard's master cassettes themselves (not the DAT tansfer) by the laudable JEMS tape group, remastered tastefully by DADGAD. June 27, 1977. Led Zeppelin's final night of a five night run at the LA Forum. I play Sick Again (which rocks), Since I've Been Loving You, which shines in its more mature 1977 arrangement, and an adventurous Ten Years Gone in which not every landing is stuck, but the attempts are noteworthy. This is a stellar recording of really good show. Lots of magic here. Zeppelin at the Forum is not to be missed.
JEMS Editor-in-Chief Dr. Ted Lee talks with MEDIC Deputy Director Sharon Taulbert about the importance of women in EMS.

Hear an important JEMS Talk on ethics in emergency medical services and mobile medicine. Items Discussed • The belief that field clinicians can/should be trusted to make ethical and moral decisions. • Are we educating clinicians on how to make such assessments, or are we training clinicians to paint by number/practice by rote protocol? • Are “thinking” vs. a scientifically informed, protocolized approach mutually exclusive—or can they inform one another? • Are we training clinicians to develop their moral compasses? • What happens when science suggests that the moral or ethical thing to do is the suboptimal choice (and by what yardstick is that judged)? Panelists Christopher Colwell, MD; chief of Emergency Medicine at Zuckerberg San Francisco (CA) General Hospital and Trauma Center Michael Dailey, MD; director of Prehospital Care Services & Education at Albany (NY) Medical Center Abby Dotson, PHD; executive director at the National POLST Collaborative, director of the Oregon POLST Registry Jonathon Feit, MBA; co-founder and chief executive of Beyond Lucid Technologies, Inc. Keep the conversation going by using #JEMSTalk on social media.
