Send us a textThe latest episode of *2 Giants Goofballs: New York Giants News & Updates* dives deep into the hottest rumors surrounding the New York Giants, from potential draft shakeups to a possible blockbuster trade for star wide receiver DK Metcalf. Drew and Rob break down all the latest reports, including whether the Giants are seriously considering a move for Metcalf and what it could cost them. The news of Metcalf's trade request sent shockwaves through the NFL, and with the Giants still looking for a dominant wide receiver, could they be the team to land him? With a massive $31.87 million cap hit in 2025 and just one year left on his current deal, any team interested in acquiring him will have to weigh the financial impact carefully. The Giants have already made moves to bolster their offense, but adding a big-bodied target like Metcalf could completely change the dynamic of their passing attack. Meanwhile, the NFL Draft rumors continue to swirl, and one of the biggest stories involves Tennessee and their potential pick. According to ESPN's Titans reporter Turron Davenport, Tennessee is seriously considering taking Cam Ward if they stay at No. 3, and trade talks around the pick are heating up. If the Titans decide to stick with their pick and take Ward, what does that mean for the Giants? Could it force them to look elsewhere for their next franchise quarterback? On the flip side, Shedeur Sanders' draft stock appears to be falling. Sportkeeda's Tony Pauline reports that teams are cooling on the Colorado quarterback for multiple reasons, including his lack of noticeable improvement last season and concerns over some of his recent decisions. Skipping throwing at the combine wasn't unusual for a top prospect, but some teams are reportedly questioning his overall effort during the pre-draft process. CBS' Jonathan Jones added that teams he's spoken with believe Cam Ward has been interviewing better than Sanders, with at least one team suggesting that Sanders hasn't given his all when meeting with organizations he's not interested in joining. Drew and Rob also discuss an interesting behind-the-scenes look at how the Jets conduct player interviews. Former prospect Tracy shared his experience with head coach Robert Saleh's unique “mind games” during pre-draft meetings. Saleh would explain a play in full detail, then immediately shift the conversation to personal topics like family and life outside of football. After some time, he would circle back and ask the player to recall the play exactly as it was explained. It was a test of focus, retention, and the ability to process information under pressure—something that caught Tracy off guard but ultimately taught him a valuable lesson. With so many rumors flying around, the Giants find themselves at a crossroads. Do they make a move for DK Metcalf to add a proven weapon to their offense? Do they try to trade up in the draft for a quarterback, or let the board fall to them at No. 3? The speculation continues, and Drew and Rob are here to break down every possible scenario in another can't-miss episode of *2 Giants Goofballs*.#giants #nfl #nfldraftSupport the showAll Episodes are shot LIVE with fan interactions on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, & TwitchSponsor the show at: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/2giantgoofballsInterested in starting a podcast.
