If I'm going to live a bigger life,It's going to take some work.Not only must I face my fear,But go out into the world.☉Hola New Paradigmers! OK, I didn't have time to break it down.  Let's look at the two week stretch from the 15th to February 1st, the last two weeks of January.  During this time all the personal planets transit Pluto, basically dying, going down into the void of emptiness, transforming, and resurrecting anew.  This is usually a long, slow, most often painful process of life confronting us with our own (and others) “messed upness,” breaking down our walls in order to accept that we don't know it all and don't have it all together, and then picking up the pieces and starting all over again (Hey!  That's another good song!). While this is normally a long slow process, in these two week's we get the fast food version of it and clean up our s**t real fast (at least see it if we don't clean it up).  We can start with the Moon as she moves the fastest and was conjunct Pluto exact last Sunday.  A time of deep deep house cleaning, family cleaning, cleaning up the past.  Where breakdowns lead to rebuilds, lead to truth being seen if not spoken and the underbelly of the beast being shown.  All this leads to a possible emotional rebirth where your inner child gets better integrated with your adult self. Mercury, exact Thursday, DEEP thinking, analyzing, reviewing, and possibly, due to TMI, mental breakdown/overwhelm.  “I can't figure this out!”  The dragon is too big to be tamed with our little ego, it's emotional, psychic, spiritual, we're lost.  Reason doesn't work so our words can be biting, emotionally driven, or heated.  We have to consciously be gentle with our words both to others and ourselves and stay in integrity, not stooping or lowering our moral standards, hiding, lying, covertly manipulating but staying above board, open and honest (perhaps even in the face of others dishonesty). Venus, Monday the 19th.  Break your heart open, break your heart down.  Whether it's relationships, what you value the most, or comes through a financial crisis to help you determine just what you value the most, our comfort takes a hit.  This is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.  I don't want to feel this, I don't want to know/experience/live this way, with this person, or with myself, or in this role, anymore.  We get confronted perhaps with the worst and most ugly part(s) of ourselves, others, or life JUST SO WE CAN LEARN TO LOVE IT ALL.  But it can be a bitter pill to swallow! Sun, today, the 21st.  It's like an eclipse where you get swallowed and taken without your consent down into the darkest realms of yourself and the world.  “Where the Sun don't shine.”  It's scary down there with the rats and spiders, you could get bit, you wanna protect yourself, but it's time for you to face yourself, your whole self, naked.  Get over yourself, the old one that is, and wake up to your inner truth, stop faking it, get real, stand up for yourself, get tough!  But not too tough, not your low down dirty rotten self that will stoop too low to get what it wants.  Your highest self that will compromise instead of coerce and unite rather than dynamite.Mars, coming Tuesday the 27th.  The old version of the masculine, the I, me, my, the boss, the conqueror, the tough guy, hard as nails, the champion, the “I don't give a damn” kinda guy (IN ALL OF US) comes up and out to fight.  And loses.  And if it/we don't lose the battle they/we will lose the war ‘cuz we're coming from an immature, wounded place of separation, polarization, and opposites.  It's time to grow up into the divine masculine and get over the ego assertion, goal orientation, and personal agendas and get to work for the whole.  We need to get over ourselves and out of our own way.  Good luck and go for it!Song for the week: Any Major Dude!  https://youtu.be/NkkM5XTCk1A?si=3yUzjA-YtA3WupwsSo Much Love,Kaypacha

Beside the Sun, Pluto, Saturn, and Neptune yod that is effective pretty much all week, we also have the Sun square Uranus and Venus square Chiron. All of these astrological aspects point to the need for us to GO ALTERNATIVE in everything we say, do, investigate, create, believe, and love, the list is endless. These alternative approaches may not come easy, in fact, the more we resist and try doing things in the same old same old way, the more we may be blocked, stopped, or challenged.So, if someone is telling you not to do things that way, it might be best to try and listen rather than tell them to go away. In fact, Mars in Libra favors co-creation. If someone wants to contribute, help you out, and chip in, even though they do things a little differently than you, again, it may be good to enlist their support rather than trying to go it alone all the time.As I mentioned in the report, it can be humbling to ask for help. Our Virgo desire for control (so nobody else messes it up) and perfection will benefit from some flexibility and experimentation. We always have the choices and this week is about choosing teamwork over going solo, humility over “I can do it better,” patience and forgiveness over “Get out of my way,and giving over taking. To bring in this age of Aquarius which has a focus on community and friendships, we will all need to break some of the competitive programming we've received since whenever. This is a good week to go for perfection in your own unique way, not comparing or competing with anyone but encouraging them to contribute their unique gifts also. The more the merrier! There is both internal pressure that we put on ourselves and external pressure that comes from outside ourselves, but let's make no mistake about it, both Pressure increases and increases until it is so uncomfortable that we are forced to look at things and in directions that we had heretofore avoided in order to both explain the pressure and release or escape it. Truth emerges from the depths as our feelings of comfort are disturbed. Yes, it's annoying, frustrating, and can be depressing and anger producing.However, there are two very important and exciting results that can happen through processing pressure. The first is that we get grounded in reality, have to cut the BS and face the truth. Sometimes this is humbling and embarrassing as we have to admit our limits, need for help, and sensitivities. A secondary result of this is deeper intimacy with whoever reflected these truths back to you.Secondly, we have to be creative!!! It's so intense and uncomfortable that enough pressure will bring us to the point of changing things that we otherwise would not (just to ease the pressure). This often requires us to brainstorm new solutions and take new approaches to people and situations in our lives that we have either been hesitant to take, refusing to take, or unaware of before the pressure. In the full Moon chart you can see both kites and in the report I broke them down so you could see each one more clearly. I spoke about Mars opposing Saturn and how it indicates a time of asserting our own needs and desires in our relationships (in a responsible/Saturn way). But then, we have both Uranus and Pluto trining Mars! Each is helping in its own way. Pluto is giving “the big picture of the future” and Uranus in Gemini is the word crafter par-exellance! So, yes, do it!Then, if that's not enough to fill your kite, we have another one! I spoke of Mercury opposite Pluto which is calling us to speak our deepest truth in order to create a life we love. What I didn't mention is that Mercury has both Mars in Libra and Uranus in Gemini helping him! Uranus gives brilliant, instantaneous insight, radical ideas and rapid change. Mars will smooth out the rough edges of Uranus' extreme and sudden nature and help make it more palatable to others.Ice that cake with a full Moon in Aquarius and Venus conjunct Jupiter and you can have your cake and eat it too! There's a lot to unpack with this new Moon conjunct Jupiter in square to the Saturn/Neptune conjunction! As I discuss in this report, collectively and personally we are on a threshold but this threshold may be likened more to a toll booth! Before we can fully benefit from the liberating and expansive gifts of Jupiter we need to "pay our karmic debts" to rightfully close the old cycle. We can't pass through the toll booth without paying some dues (or getting a ticket). Therefore, what is also involved is rising above victim consciousness where we may think/feel that the debts we have to pay are unjustified, out of proportion, or some kind of punishment being laid on us by outside forces/people/institutions. The new Moon sets the tone for the month and it is one of deeply feeling our feelings, fears, and emotional needs for security. When in our "child mode" we can easily slip into "It's your fault," "Could you pay for me?" or "I'm not big enough, strong enough, old enough, or rich enough to pay up." So, we're all needing to grow up, take full responsibility for what we have done and what we have failed to do. This will of course vary from person to person depending on past choices ranging from a few little problems that need to be dealt with to huge major life crises that can feel overwhelming. I think step one is the mantra, of taking responsibility for ourselves and our reality and expecting/demanding other people to take care of us. Step two then, is, of course, to straighten out any past booboos (without being too hard on ourselves). Looking at your personal chart will help you identify in what areas of life experience you have some cleanup to do (Saturn/Neptune) in order to go forward with joy, creative expression, and inner peace (Sun/Moon/Jupiter). I am forever receiving impulses, From my primitive reptilian brain. In order to grow I need to control, And direct them again and again.☉ I know you know what I'm talking about! If we look at the Anthroposophical breakdown of the hierarchies (mineral, plant, animal, human, angel, archangel, archai, seraphim and cherubim), we can see that we are the link between the animal kingdom and the angelic realms. Our evolutionary development is to transform our animal instinctive nature, through loving consciousness, into conscious awareness, love, and compassion. Hence the mantra for this week! On another note, don't you LOVE the Sabian symbol for this week??? OMG! Indeed, It's amazing how smart, tricky, and devious the EGO is when it comes to rationalizing our past behavior in order to keep us from changing. We tell ourselves stories, believe our own stories and it takes a jolt (otherwise known as trauma) to wake us up to the fact that we have been BSing ourselves for heaven knows how long and it's time to get real. So that's what 2025 is all about and particularly this week when we can have some major breakthroughs and awakenings (of a positive nature). We may well be pleasantly surprised if, and when, we succeed in breaking free and letting go of the past, that most of our limiting beliefs and stories have been just that: LIMITING. Information has been so overrated,Since I was a little child,But now that I know that there's much more to life,I will spend more time in the wild. ☉Well, I went on a rant today!  Whew!  What can I say?  What I didn't even get to is that this Jupiter square Saturn aspect, the “crisis in action,” had it's first pass last August with Saturn retrograde, the second pass on Christmas with Jupiter retrograde, and now the third pass with both planets direct.  An interesting note regarding this square, which has to do with breaking free from past security structures in order to express a new, elevated version of ourselves, had the first two passes in the mutable signs of Pisces and Gemini.  This third and final pass is occurring in the cardinal signs of Aries and Cancer.  The mutable signs have more to do with listening, taking in, and changing ourselves as a result of integrating the new information, needs, desires, and impulses.  Now, having the final pass in the cardinal signs, it's time to make choices and take action particularly around surrendering our past ways, habits, and limitations in order to open ourselves to the new possibilities that will be presenting themselves through the remainder of this year and into next year.The age-old axiom for whenever Jupiter and Saturn contact each other is “limited expansion.”  It is a time of cautious, careful planning rather than plunging, risking, and just “doing it.”  It's almost like you don't want to start setting the stage for Scene Two before you've cleared the stage from Scene One!  Know what I mean?  This is more about carefully selecting the people, places, things, and activities that support the new you and retiring what doesn't (with gratitude if possible!). Meditating in deep stillness, doing ceremony, and calling upon your higher self and Spirit for guidance, you may find it necessary to let go of some cherished people, places, or activities/habits.  On the other hand, if you are unconscious of your own true nature, needs, and soul desires, you may find people, places, things, or activities leaving you or being taken away.  In either case, knowing that life is always in complete support of your evolution will help lessen any feelings of loss, betrayal, abandonment, or victim consciousness. May you find peace through this transition!Born to be Wild!  https://youtu.be/egMWlD3fLJ8?si=4GtSqs8BTXH6MFtU Book a reading with Kaypacha!  https://newparadigmastrology.com/kaypachas-readings/So Much Love,Kaypacha

It's time for a serious, sober review, Of where I've been and what I've done, Some concentration and contemplation, To prepare for what is to come.  ☉ There's never a dull moment these days with the technology we have created. It, therefore, becomes more important for us to consciously unplug and make space for stillness, contemplation, and rejuvenation. Otherwise, we can blunder along with the demands of the moment until we find ourselves carried away on the river of life completely out of control and lost as to our purpose. Hence, the cosmos and mother nature have come to the rescue with a nice, slow-down aspect, Jupiter squaring Saturn while the Capricorn Sun squares the Moon's nodes. There is great wisdom in the stars, and while you can look to where these are aspecting your natal chart, you can also gain some footing just knowing that the energy of the times (for everyone) are pointing to "downtime."  Rather than seeing it as a bummer and getting dragged down, bored, or depressed that things aren't moving as fast as you would like, it's pretty purposeful if viewed from a higher perspective. If I want to be miserable, I can think about everything that's wrong, And if I want to improve my day, I can dance and sing a song. ☉ Let's welcome in the Solstice full Moon in Capricorn! Sun joining Venus/Mercury in Cancer says it's all about what's going inside that counts. Moon in Capricorn says it's all about bringing order, structure, and commitment to the outside. Do we change the world or change ourselves? Are we here to serve others or grow and evolve within? The answer is, BOTH!  Gotta balance the outside with inside, the profession and the career, helping others with helping ourselves. The trouble is that our cultural conditioning has been and is lopsidedly focused on profession, giving to others, going to work, and doing what we're told by external authorities that want us to PRODUCE. Time to take a step back and see just how balanced you are and whether you are giving your life away or not. Are you spending as much time with yourself as you are with everybody else? Are you as committed to yourself as you are to the boss, family, or beloved? Are you as aware of your feelings as you are of your thoughts? If not, then expect some domestic strife to arise and show you where you are over or underdoing it. If you're working too hard to the exclusion of a personal life, you'll have family, domestic, and emotional problems. If you're too into yourself, your feelings, security needs, and emotions, you'll have a professional crisis to get your attention. The more balanced with personal and professional, the fewer personal or professional problems we'll have! Check it out - it's true!

It's time for that lion in each of us to shine, to cool cat walk onto the stage and soak up the spotlight so that we can generously give our Spirit to the world, yes, folks it's Leo Season. In this episode, the 11th of 12 in the series on the astrological signs of the Zodiac, we'll begin with our usual run-through of the archetype of Leo, interrupt the chat with tunes from some of our amazing sun sign Leo musicians, have a chat on the park bench about the need to embody this Leo archetype as our world enters the Age of Aquarius before rounding out the show with some more music. We'll do all of this with assists from Judy Hall's "The Astrology Bible," and astrologers Kaypacha, Monika Bravo, Christopher Renstrom and Rick Levine.

Make no mistake, we are in an earthly initiation to a new level of human experience! And just like the rites of passage we all go through, from losing our baby teeth to entering puberty and adulthood, there are necessary, ordered, and timely steps to be taken. The zodiac is our guide. The word "networking" is a common buzzword nowadays with the World Wide Web. It falls under both Gemini and Aquarius and has at least two different interpretations. Gemini, ruled by the planet of communication, Mercury, is the third "step" in the 12-step zodiacal order. It is an initial reaching of an as yet undefined personality/ego to become familiar with its surrounding environment = curiosity. In many ways, "social media" expresses this intellectual, superficial exploration. Mars has been stimulating this arena since August and will continue to do so until March. Another, more "advanced" form of networking is experienced through Aquarius, the eleventh sign of the zodiac. Beyond personal curiosity, the soul has individualized itself through Cancer, Leo, and Virgo, learned relationship and intimacy through Libra and Scorpio, and expanded its consciousness to include an understanding of natural law in Sagittarius, societal rules, laws, and regulations in Capricorn, and is therefore prepared to assist the collective consciousness of humanity in attaining a liberated and enlightened future in Aquarius. Self-interest, advancement, and development have already been attained and evolved. Individuated ego is now seeking nothing more than truth, awareness, and the welfare of others, the planet, and the future. This is the networking that I am speaking of in this week's mantra. We understand that Saturn, the great teacher and Lord of Karma, through his 28-year journey around the zodiac, is nearing the end of his sojourn through this sign. The Sun, having spent two months shining the light on our ability to relate, deepen, and strengthen our capabilities in the realm of intimate relationship, is now nearing the end of his sojourn through Sagittarius, where we grapple with and deepen our capacity to find meaning and purpose for our lives. This week, the Moon is transiting through Virgo, Libra, and Scorpio to, in some ways, "finish up" these relationship lessons in preparation for the next step of social integration. This all relates to and expands upon the term "co-create." A co-creation of unindividualized, self-interested (or greedy) souls who do not yet possess the ability to deeply, humanly relate/love, and therefore have a limited understanding of the meaning and purpose of life, are going to create a reality far different from the mature, evolved souls that have gone through all the necessary stages of evolution. This leads us back to the success or failure of the entire cyclical process mentioned in the Sabian symbol for Jupiter entering Aries. I hope that there are enough souls who have faced and successfully completed the challenges presented from Cancer through to Capricorn, who can now co-create a new paradigm based upon a commonly shared vision of a "garden of earthly delight." I come to the mountains, forests and streams, To connect with my heart and soul. Sitting in silence under the Sun, I know all that I need to know. There's always so much more to say! I'm trying to keep these short because I know you are busy, and I got feedback after that 1/2 hour one that it was just too long! So this week, I'm sorry to not have even mentioned Black Moon Lilith (seen in the thumbnail and opening) conjuncting the Sun at the 27th degree of Gemini. The Sabian symbol for that degree is: "A gypsy emerging from the forest wherein her tribe is encamped." Feel into that one! This reminds me that I barely touched on depression but know that it is almost palpable in the air, though many seek to ignore it. Both Mars conjunct Chiron and Venus/nodes square Saturn have to do with feeling, remembering, and healing deep emotional wounds from this life and others. Let's be clear, if you're not feeling some sorrow and grief these days, you are out of touch with your humanity! Yet, as Shakespeare said: "Parting is but sweet sorrow." Sitting in sadness can bring us down (or bring feelings up, whichever way you want to look at it) into deeper layers of our soul nature that hold many truths and bring tremendous self-knowledge. Let's remember that Aries/Mars rules both action and reaction. Chiron will bring to the surface times in the past when we have suffered as a result of "overacting," possibly incurring damage on others or Gaia due to impulsive, indiscriminate, unconscious willfulness. Conversely, this conjunction may bring up memories when our "overreacting" brought blame, shame, or pain to others. And let's not forget the opposite as that is what Chiron's wounds most often signify, UNDER acting, or failure to act or react when it was necessary, proper, and needed and we or others experienced pain as a result. The overdoing or underdoing symbolized by Chiron's placement in your birth chart and in transit is a result of what I will call "soul fragmentation," an aspect of yourself that has been separated from your soul identity from any number of past experiences and is therefore not connected, representing, or in alignment with your true nature. This week (and when Jupiter comes to Chiron next year) is a perfect time for soul retrieval wherein you call back these fragmented portions of your psyche. Have compassion for and forgive yourself (and others you may have blamed), and relax, exhale, and feel the relief of being reunited. In the midst of complications, I will not forget, That the point of life and living, Is to love and reconnect. Regardless of the state of the world, I'm getting myself together. Forgiving, forgetting, and starting anew, I raise the bar ever higher. Mars at the end of Aquarius (along with ol' Saturn, of course) wants to raise that bar and raise that bar and raise that bar even higher! Then, today and tomorrow, the Moon in Virgo wants to work out, buff up, and make the grade. And lastly, the Sun in Aries squaring Pluto in Capricorn wants to win the gold medal. So there is a lot of competition, desire, and challenge that can lead to conflict but can also lead to everyone involved becoming better pole vaulters! If approached from the perspective of the Sabian symbol for this full Moon, one of "transcendent realization," this Libra full Moon can bump our relationships up to a new level of conscious communication and union. However, left to our unconscious will forces that wish to continue getting our own way, these same relationships could topple down, knocking the bar down, and fall into conflict. Through contrast and comparison, I learn what's right for me. So the older I get the more you can bet, I'm the best that I can be. What I would like to tie into this report that I didn't really get to is Mars making his 3/4 square to Neptune. The 270-degree square signals a time when the native (or collective) has reached a culmination or peak in the social expression of the original evolutionary impulse and now needs to release what they have achieved within the limits of that society in order to individuate further. When we apply this to the Mars/Neptune cycle of approximately two years, we see that a new vision, seed, or desire to penetrate (Mars) the higher spiritual realms (Neptune) began in mid-June of 2020 with the conjunction. This may also have been a time when Spirit (Neptune) was the cause or instigator (Mars) of events in your earthly/ego life. This attempt(s) to unite personal will with divine love has now reached or achieved as much as possible in its current expression. It needs to change. It's time to liberate ourselves from old limiting conditions, beliefs, and relationships in order to "bump it up." This square, coinciding with Venus' underworld transformation, reflects that this is a time period of major change in the way we love, how we wish to be loved, and in our loving relationships. We are being sculpted, shaped, formed, and refined into better versions of ourselves, ever more able (and hopefully willing) to give and receive love on ever-deepening levels in ever-deepening relationships. The Sun, the Moon and the Stars, Tell me there is a plan, For me and you and what to do, And when to take a stand. OK! A traumatic Pele Report experience dealing with boundaries. With my 12th house stellium, I will say I don't like limits and err on the side of oneness. However, life is a great teacher, and it is teaching me to not only stand and hold my own boundaries but look for, identify, and respect other people's! However, I will also say that I'm slightly traumatized by the angry, aggressive, and abusive language this lady used (with a 7-year-old girl at her side!) to kick my “sorry @#$” outta there! Missing the Pura Vida of Costa Rica these days! Anyway, this personal experience can be broadened to a collective experience as we see governments worldwide encroaching upon individual citizens' rights. We can see the apparent boundaries of muzzle mandates, little stickers on floors telling people to stay away from each other, plastic “shields” between checkouts and children's school desks, etc. I see this division as a deliberate attempt to tear apart the social fabric that connects, unites, and strengthens us. As humans, we are social beings. At this juncture of not only the end of a year but the end of an age, it behooves us to remember and review our past, both personal and collective. It is a learning process, as the balsamic phase will always bring up any and all issues that have not been resolved in the previous cycle so that they may be integrated before the beginning of the next cycle. In this way, we learn from the past and don't need to repeat lessons. I'm certainly reminded of Hitler, his totalitarian takeover that resulted in horror. I have to let go of my pride, fear and control, To bare my soul to you. Yet when I do, I see me through you, As a heart full of love so true. All you need is love, this week's song is a poignant reminder as Venus unites with Pluto of just how fundamental love is to our experience of ourselves and life. As I discuss in the report, instead of this being a "Holly Jolly Christmas," it may have a few undertones of a "Melancholy Christmas." The stripping away down to "the heart of the matter" (maybe another good song for this week) can leave us feeling vulnerable but also soft, sweet, open, and blessed. Maybe go through your old photos, feelings, memories, and relationships with a heart to bless all that has brought you to where you are now. Also, as mentioned, this Venus/Pluto will manifest in one of three ways: your most intimate relationship(s) transform, end, or a powerful new one begins. Coupled with the Saturn/Uranus square, this becomes a volatile time full of unpredictable changes. Maintaining our faith in Love and its powerful wisdom to guide our life can help us navigate these times with a more even keel amidst the stormy seas. As a guardian of the truth, I know it and speak it and see, When lies are used to take away, Freedom, choice, and autonomy. It's a jam-packed week with the Moon waxing to full and the Solstice on its way! It feels like an extraordinary time when the veils are thinner than usual, and there is greater interaction between worlds that can be both "light" and "dark." Brilliant, new, previously unseen connections can be made between seemingly unconnected things, people, and events in our lives. AND entities and spiritual forces who do not have our best interests in "mind" can also influence those of weaker or less awakened consciousness. As both information and misinformation continue to flood our airwaves around the world and the Moon waxes into full, we will see more polarization happening both within and without. Polarization is a 3rd-dimensional phenomenon that helps us focus (like a camera lens) and clarify for ourselves more precisely who we are, what we need to evolve, and what choices are best for our soul intentions. I am a work in progress, And so is the rest of the world. As disappointed as I can get, I will continue to work for the good. As usual, there is always more to talk about! Today's report discussed personal growth and the world political scene. On other levels, Venus also "rules" money, and Pluto "rules" massive wealth. So we will also see massive shifts of wealth (we already are) upward to those in authoritative positions and institutes/corporations financial, pharmaceutical, and otherwise over these next few months. You have to look where this falls in your chart to see where you might make some money! On another level, Venus "rules" love and relationship. This is a profoundly transformative time in our personal relationship realm as Pluto also "rules" transformation, endings (including death), and rebirth (as in beginning new, deeply transformative relationships with intense people!). These next four months may bring the end of existing relationships that no longer serve the evolutionary path of the souls involved. These endings will have a financial impact on the parties involved for either gain or loss. Again, you need to look at your chart and meditate on your karma regarding these situations. The main thing to remember where Pluto is involved is to remain in integrity, as tempting as it is to try to get "your own way" in difficult situations, partings, and meetings. Spirit and matter are woven together, Just like life and death, One I can touch, taste, smell and see, The other is Love, health, and breath. You may be feeling those Scorpio blues, and that's alright. It's better than “alright,” it IS. You are, I am, we all are, HUMAN. I have now had enough, Of being told what is right and wrong. I am a powerful sovereign being, And will follow the beat of my drum. It was really around December of 2020 and January of this year that Jupiter and Saturn conjoined, and choices, decisions, opportunities, and restrictions were started, agreed to, or initiated. I have been re-grounded, Now it's time to start again, Turn on the lights, roll the camera, And let the games begin. To love and to be loved, Is the profoundest gift of all. When I open and give my heart to another, I am blessed as well. Indeed, the fruit tree grows and ripens its fruit and then gives it all away. We can be likened to a fruit tree as our lives are all about building ourselves and hopefully giving our gifts away! We've been building for a while now, and after the harvest of Virgo comes the sharing of Libra. My power to stand, ask for, and be, What I want has been wounded through time. The sooner I honor and speak my truth, The sooner I'll get what is mine. Darn! I forgot a point I wanted to make in the report! An interesting note to this theme of self-assertion is that if/when EVERYONE is sovereign and asserting their truth, it is a heck of a lot easier! I always remember the scene in Oliver Twist when the orphan youth goes back up to the cook serving gruel and says, "Please, sir, I want some more!" Well, he gets kicked out of the orphanage as the one and only orphan asking for more. Self-assertion can upset external authority figures, but it can also disturb those wounded and afraid to assert their own needs and desires. Then our independent warrior can be severely judged, condemned, and executed by his/her own peers! When consciousness, hearts, and socio-cultural-religious norms expand to include all the diverse expressions of what it is to be human, then we shall be liberated to express our needs and desires more freely. So, in the end, it is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, we need to assert ourselves more freely, and on the other, we need to tolerate, accept, and even encourage our brothers and sisters to do the same! I see more clearly everyday, What freedom truly is. My body is my temple, Not a petri dish. This is a good week for critical thinking! Critical thinking can lead to making critical choices. Relationship is the garden, Where love is planted and grows, It both takes and gives the water of life, And tells the truth I need to know. Whew! It feels like I did one of these yesterday. The time is flying by so fast. This morning I lay in bed far too long trying to think up a mantra because it just wasn't coming. Finally, I got up to do my yoga, and rather than put on my regular chants, I thought I would try something different. I went to Spotify and put on the "428HZ Frequency Healing Meditation Music." WOW, dropped down into the heart space, let go of the mind (got the image of the mind as the train running over the egg), and truly "felt." Such a Mercury opposite Chiron (today) experience! To stay in that heart space and feel, I knew I had to keep the computer and phone off, slow down (even walking down the stairs slower), and not start thinking ahead to all that needed to get done today. I watched myself and focused on surrender, letting go, and listening to the sounds of nature all around me. I know the world is in crisis, and I don't wish to avoid or deny it. Yet my own growth and evolution involves developing the discipline necessary to balance the "inner" with the "outer," living, and paying equal attention to both the "periphery" and the "center." Pluto, the force of evolution, is actually the go-between for the Mars/Neptune opposition and is calling for more discipline and putting more controls on us by the minute. While this can cause us to feel powerless, it can also be the pressure we need to take a stand and assert our true desires. Life is breathing in and out, Sitting in silence then giving a shout. If I only do one and neglect the other, I lose my balance and am torn asunder. After hitting the stop button and walking back to my micro-hut, I had more thoughts concerning the healing of the masculine. What I can say is that just about all of us have a wounded masculine after experiencing many lifetimes with wounded leaders, parents, and siblings. However, each has been wounded in unique ways with individual responses to those wounds. In the video, it may have sounded like we should all chill out, stop taking, desiring, and wanting so much. But this is only one wound and one response. There's also the wound of "I don't deserve to get what I want, so why bother asking?" Or the wound of "I don't even know what I want because I always been told and never asked." The list can go on and on when it comes to desires, which ones, and our individual soul history.
