En cuanto a la situación a día de hoy de la bahía, frecuentada por bañistas en la playa del Lastre y la de San Bruno, el alcalde de La Unión se ha felicitado en antena de que pueda abrirse esta última al baño seguramente este fin de semana después del cierre por sorpresa que había decidido la Demarcación de Costas del Estado. Zapata también ha departido en antena sobre la primera reunión de la Asociación de Municipios del Campo de Cartagena y Mar Menor celebrada ayer. La reunión, según nos ha contado, significa el inicio de un tejido común entre municipios para proyectar iniciativas conjuntas, como el proyecto de la puesta en valor del algarrobo, un árbol arraigado en la identidad agrícola del campo de Cartagena. También se ha abordado la posibilidad de dotar de "denominación de origen" a los productos de la zona, y de la potenciación de IFEPA, la Institución Ferial de Torre Pacheco.Hemos abordado con el alcalde de La Unión, por último, los momentos previos al Festival del Cante de Las Minas, y así hemos averiguado que justo este fin de semana el regidor asiste a la celebración en Madrid de dos pruebas selectivas para el certamen.

El alcalde de La Unión, Joaquín Zapata, repasa los hitos de esta edición pendientes de que se dé a conocer la programación cultural paralela.

Esta semana en "Ser Minero" conversamos con la investigadora Noemí Merayo sobre las importantes y variadas posibilidades que abre el reaprovechamiento del agua que, procedente de las filtraciones de ríos próximos y acuíferos, pueden llegar a anegar explotaciones mineras en desuso. Lo hacemos acompañados de nuestro colaborador, Roberto Fernández, director del Museo de la Minería y la Siderurgia de Castilla y León.

Devastada por 30 años de guerra civil, Camboya está plagada de minas antipersona. Cada año, matan y hieren a civiles, a pesar de que el Gobierno ha destruido 4 millones de esos artefactos desde la década de 1990. Hoy, más de 5.000 personas en todo el país trabajan para neutralizar millones de minas que permanecen enterradas y una ONG belga ha sido pionera en el uso de ratas para detectarlas.

El Festival del Cante de las Minas de La Unión hace historia y bate el récord en impacto mediático. A falta de cerrar los datos de los últimos días, el festival superará los 19 millones de euros frente a los casi 12 millones de euros de la pasada ediciónEl Cante de las Minas ha vuelto a ser el epicentro mediático del flamenco en el mes de agosto. La 63ª edición del festival que finalizó el pasado sábado ha superado notablemente los resultados de su antecesora, con un incremento en el impacto informativo en términos económicos que superan los 19 millones de euros. Las cifras todavía no están cerradas, así que podrían llegar a duplicar las del año pasado que se situaron en 12 millones de euros. El alcalde de La Unión, Joaquín Zapata, hace un balance muy positivo del certamen con el cartel de no hay entradas en tres noches.Zapata asegura que ya trabajan en la edición del año próximo y en actividades que promocionen el flamenco y permitan desestacionalizar el festival. Cita proyectos como el nuevo Café Cantante o la reapertura de la mina Agrupa Vicenta.Jesús Corbacho, de Huelva, fue el ganador de la lámpara minera de la 63 edición del Festival del Cante de las Minas. El ‘Desplante' femenino ha ido, por primera vez en la historia del Festival, para la japonesa ‘La Yunko'. José ‘El Marqués' con su violonchelo y Lorenzo Moya con el piano consiguen el primer y segundo premio de Instrumentista Flamenco, respectivamente y El madrileño Joni Jiménez se llevó el ‘Bordón Minero'.

El escritor victoriano Henry Rider Haggard publicó en 1885 la primera novela de ficción de aventuras en inglés situada en una región inexplorada de África en la que un grupo de expedicionarios, liderados por Allan Quatermain, intentan encontrar al hermano de uno de estos exploradores desaparecido mientras buscaba los legendarios tesoros del Rey Salomón.

En entrevista para MVS Noticias con Manuel López San Martín, Pablo Vázquez Camacho, Secretario de Seguridad Ciudadana, habló sobre que, la Fiscalía de CDMX constató que las dos personas cuyas credenciales personales fueron halladas en el supuesto crematorio están vivas. “Al recibir la información, movilizamos al cuerpo de seguridad, es importante decir que este lugar al que se le conoce como Las Minas, había sido objeto de distintas búsquedas de la Fiscalía en al menos 3 ocasiones, en aquellas no se había encontrado algún indicio y fueron motivadas por búsqueda individualizada”, mencionó. ¿Qué pasó con las credenciales encontradas en el Crematorio Clandestino en CDMX? Pablo Vázquez declaró que ante el llamado respondieron y le dieron seriedad al caso, “valoramos el trabajo de colectivos, nos dirigimos al lugar, había dos elementos que se difundieron y corroboramos la identidad, de una credencial de Angélica ‘N' y un menor Álvaro ‘N', una credencial escolar, se desplegaron equipos, y pudimos ubicar a Angélica en su domicilio en el Edomex, sana y salva, comentó que fue objeto de robo de celular”. “Posterior en Iztapalapa encontramos sano y salvo al menor”, aseveró. El Secretario de Seguridad Ciudadana detalló que, en el caso del menor, desecharon útiles escolares y probablemente llegaron ahí, “en ese lugar se incinera basura, además la Fiscalía ha estado trabajando en el lugar”. “Hemos avanzado, podremos concluir con las búsquedas cerca de las seis de la tarde y daremos los resultados de lo que se ha estado levantando… Llegó Ceci Flores que está realizando recorridos en la zona”, concluyó Pablo Vázquez sobre el Crematorio Clandestino en CDMX.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
