Episode Notes: Welcome back to Arcade Cozy! This week, Chris and Corey talk about the games they played in 2024 that didn't actually come out in 2024 (wait...people do that?) because 2024 had some of the greatest releases (maybe ever?), but new games aren't everything. Some of the best games are the old ones, so we talk about those too! Games discussed include: Metal Gear Solid 1-5, Toem, Pokemon Emerald, Lego City Undercover, and more! Do you have thoughts on what we talked about today? Are there things that we missed? Or do you have a few games you'd like us to check out? Hit us up on one of the avenues below—we would love to connect with you. And he's one of the two people in Hollywood that even Jerry Lewis liked (listen for story).

LEGO Worlds was a slow-burning success, the byproduct of the LEGO Group's innate desire to make its own Minecraft™, empowered with lessons learned from LEGO Universe and LEGO City Undercover.
It's just a few weeks to go until Forza Horizon 5! We take a look at a car that will be new to the Forza Horizon series and also pick out a few we'd like to see added. Passenger Rosie loves Lewis Hamilton and his fashion choices and we've been distracted by Lego City Undercover. We're grouchy about the delay to Forza Motorsport 8 and generally confused by Microsoft's strategy with racing games.

Considered by many to be one of the LEGO Group and TT Game's best titles, LEGO® City Undercover is a masterpiece packed with referential humor, hidden jokes, and not a few fascinating developer stories. Joins us as we dig into its creation and many hidden gems.
In this here episode of Attack the Backlog, Marc builds their way through the streets Lego City Undercover, a Lego game from Traveller's Tales that doesn’t rely on an already existent franchise, allowing them to think up whatever their heart’s desire with a world of their own filled with character’s of their own creation. Lego City Undercover originally came out on March 18th, 2013 for Wii U and is currently available on Wii U, Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Anyway, something-something referential and not-so-essential, cheers and enjoy the show. Anyway, that's it and that's all folks. If you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, the plentiful podcasts, the various videos, the absurd art, and all of the other nonsense we make over here at Pixelated Sausage. Thanks for being a fan.
On today's show, Marc decides to play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist because they needed something familiar and comfortable in light of the terrible Game Informer news that came out yesterday, where seven wonderful employees lost their job. I have no jokes today. Anyway, something-something sad and, well, sad, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly hoping for the best) show.
On today's show, Marc talks about Lego City Undercover, some Apex Legends drama, and more general Genesis nonsense, all while continuing their way through the growing pains of learning how to talk and play at the same time; it's, um, not easy. Anyway, something-something boring, which inevitably leads to snoring, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly expensive) show. Anyway, that's it and that's all folks. If you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, the plentiful podcasts, the various videos, the absurd art, and all of the other nonsense we make over here at Pixelated Sausage.
