In today's Daily Fix:Last night's The Game Awards dropped several huge reveals: the first trailer for The Witcher 4, a trailer for a new Naughty Dog game—Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and a new Elden Ring game. Elden Ring: Nightreign will be a multiplayer-focused action game that takes the main experience and tosses roguelike, pvp, and pve elements into one pot. While there's no release date yet, there will be an upcoming closed network test and we'll tell you where you can sign up. As leaks and teases have revealed recently, The Witcher 4 will be Ciri's show, but Geralt will have a role to play. And finally, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is a new IP from Naughty Dog and looks to be different from their groundbreaking The Last of Us games in practically every way.
Netflix Animation leaks leads to mayhem, Astro bot Controller released, Ready at Dawn closes down. PUBG developer has saved Tango Gameworks. We play Creatures of Ava, Nioh, FC 25 Closed Beta and Borderlands is terrible.

In this Tangents episode, Eric Riggsbee, a project manager at Joyful, shares his unique career path from architecture to the tech industry and back again. He discusses the transferable skills he gained from architecture, such as problem-solving and attention to detail, and how they have helped him succeed in his current role. He also highlights the need for a strong work-life balance and the value of creating a positive company culture.Highlights: Architects possess transferable skills such as problem-solving, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic that can be applied to various industries. Following happiness and pursuing alternative career paths can lead to fulfilling and rewarding experiences. Architects have the opportunity to create innovative and engaging spaces that promote learning and collaboration. Building a positive work culture requires trust, creativity, and a focus on employee well-being.
