Patreon.com/RememberTheGame It's pretty well known that I'm a diehard Mega Man fan. But it took me over 20 years to finally play my first Battle Network title. I'm not sure I loved this game, but I'm a pretty big fan of what the franchise is trying to do. If you've never played it, it's a tactical RPG spin on classic Mega Man. You play as a grade 5 student trying to save the world from computer viruses (and Dr. Wily of course), and you do it with your MegaMan.EXE program. The game is split between over world traversal and tactical combat, and while navigating the game's maps drove me crazy, the combat system really peaked my interest. I'll play more of these games at some point, no doubt about it. Long-time hot dog and power mad Discord mod, Keegs, is my guest this week. We both agreed that there's a great concept for a Mega Man game here, even if the execution is a little flawed. I think you can say the same about the first mainline Mega Man game, and that ended up working out ok... And before we jack-in, I put together another edition of the Infamous Intro! This week, someone asks if I've ever played the Mega Man ZX games? Does anyone else regularly fall asleep while gaming?? And what if Link to the Past had been on the NES?? Plus we play another round of 'Play One, Remake One, Erase One', too! This one features 3 of Metacritics highest scored GBA RPGs: Golden Sun, Tactics Ogre, and Fire Emblem. Sun Tzu said: "On this episode of the GameCola Podcast, we spend a significant amount of time discussing the subject of "tactics" games. Follow along with Joseph Martin, Alex Jedraszczak, John Rizzi, and Blu Ryder as they discuss their experiences with the genre and more!" Historians have been baffled by the meaning of this passage UNTIL TODAY. - Uh-oh, Jeddy played a videogame and didn't like it again! - Front Mission displays a lot of the major issues with tactics games - Most tactics games we have enjoyed have had significant departures from the standard formula - Mega Man Battle Network 4 is still frustrating for all the same reasons - The Sonic the Hedgehog 3 trailer was very tactical - Tactical videogames we've been playing in recent times [Podcast Intro/Outro “5 is Average” by Meteo Xavier]

Patreon.com/RememberTheGame I can't think of many gaming franchises I love more than Mega Man. And when you think of the Mega-est of Mega Man games, you have to think of Mega Man 2. While I (slightly) prefer Mega Man 3's harder difficulty and sliding abilities, there's no doubt that Mega Man 2 is the game that made the Blue Bomber a star. 8 robot masters, the most powerful weapon in Mega Man history, an awesome soundtrack, and a more forgiving gameplay loop. As one of our listener's said; "Mega Man 2 is the Mega Man what Terminator 2 is to The Terminator." I'm rolling solo this week, but if there's a franchise I can talk to myself about without a problem, it's Mega Man. I actually go through my personal strategy to tackle the game this week, and along they way I sprinkle in some listener comments and get into what I like, love, and yes, hate, about MM2. And before we kick some robot ass, I put together another edition of the Infamous Intro! This week, someone asks me if my confidence behind the mic has improved over the past 6 years. What GameCube games are must owns? And so we actually miss blowing in the cartridge?? Plus we play another round of 'Play One, Remake One, Erase One', too! On the Top 20 software charts Capcom's Resident Evil 4 Remake debuts in the top spot, followed by Warner Bros' Hogwarts Legacy in second, and Sony's MLB: The Show 23 debuts in third. Take 2's WWE 2K23 debuts high in seventh, Nintendo's physical version of Metroid Prime Remastered in thirteenth and, perhaps as a nod to upcoming Star Wars projects, Warner Bros' LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga returns in capping off the list in twentieth. May the 4th be with you. Everything Else But there's more! The Super Mario Bros. Movie breaks a billion at the box-office! We predicted it! Sony's Twisted Metal series gets a teaser-trailer! Speaking of Sony, their PSVR 2 headset is finally coming to retailers! The upcoming Street Fighter movie reboot gets a pair of Australian directors! And you can actually play the new Street Fighter VI (demo, anyway) right now!

(Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep) يتغلب كيس ومولي على التدخلات القانونية السيبرانية ومحاولة خيانة من ريفيرا لدمج وينترميوت مع نيورومانسر، وينتهي الأمر بكيس يعيش في عالم جديد شجاعأفلام:·        Escape from New York (1981)[40][41]·        Burst City (1982)[42]·        Tron (1982)[43]·        Blade Runner (1982)[44]·        Brainstorm (1983)[45]·        Videodrome (1983)[46]·        Repo Man (1984)·        The Terminator (1984)·        Brazil (1985)·        RoboCop (1987)[47]·        The Running Man (1987)·        Gunhed (1989)[48]·        Tetsuo: The Iron Man (1989)·        Circuitry Man (1990)[49]·        RoboCop 2 (1990)·        Hardware (a.k.a. And now, for something completely different. This month on the GameCola Podcast, staff member James Pelster takes charge of a solo episode! He's got a lot of things to talk about, and plenty of time to do so. Sit back and take a listen to everything he's been dying to discuss, including (but not limited to): - What the heck happened to the Danganronpa V3 and The Great Ace Attorney playthroughs on YouTube? - What's next for the YouTube channel in the future? - James is writing an actual article for the website after six and a half years! - Kerbal Space Program 2 is out in Early Access, and it's pretty busted, but has the potential to be awesome! - Forza Horizon 4 and 5 are the first racing games he enjoys. - Fire Emblem Engage recently released, and he's really bad at it. - Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero challenge James to not repeat the word "immersive" over and over. - Does the Mega Man Battle Network series fit into the card game genre? - Metroid Prime Remastered has complex controls. - Ghost Trick is finally getting a modern port! - Drawing maps for dungeon-crawling games, like early Shin Megami Tensei games, is surprisingly fun! - James is trying to play Resident Evil games beyond the first one on PlayStation. - The Spyro the Dragon games on PS1 still hold up well! - Secret of Mana and Secret of Evermore don't hold up so well, but are still fun. - Dragon Quest VIII is still a wonderful game, fun to play as a family activity! - Do ROM hacks hurt the creative integrity of games? That's right, we got a lot more sequel announcements at The Game Awards then anyone may have expected! And we aren't done with awards, as the Golden Globe Nominees were announced as well, and it looks like were in for an interesting ride. Meanwhile what the hell is going on at DC, James Gunn seems to have a massive amount of possible or not possible leaks on his hands. Meanwhile, the FTC is now the third regulatory body to "look deeper" into the Microsoft acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

It's a big news week this week as John, Solon, and Lorelai are here to go over it all as well as what they've been playing this week. Solon's been recovering from PAX and John's been playing more Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Lorelai has been pulling a demo week with the demos and betas for Havestella, Various Daylife, Valkyrie Elysium, and her future Game of the Generation Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. AIn the news Babylon's Fall is shutting down, Deltarune is getting an update, Overwatch is going offline for a couple days, EVGA is leaving graphics card manufacturing, and major layoffs have hit G4TV and Fanbyte. We also go over all the news from the Nintendo Direct like Zelda : Tears of a Kingdom, Pikmin 4, Fire Emblem Engage, Octopath Traveler 2, and all the farming games. At the Sony State of Play, we say a new Team Ninja game, Tekken 8, Pacific Drive, and the show closer, a God of War controller. Finally, we go over everything from TGS from Like a Dragon: Gaiden, Like a Dragon: Ishin, Like a Dragon 8, Street Fighter 6, Mega Man Battle Network, and the ultimate rare Konami W. That's right, the remaster they've been teasing announcing forever wasn't a Bluber Team Silent Hill or a Metal Gear remaster. No, it was a Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster, and Lorelai is incredibly emotional about it. Summer is a time for schmoozing with friends, which is why Axe of the Blood God invited veteran guest Len Hafer to talk about the best video game genre in the whole wide world. (Psst—that means RPGS.) Leana helps the Blood God wrap up the PC RPG Quest with a deep dive into the computer RPGs that shaped the '10s. And oh, what a decade it was. Kickstarter dreams and nightmares! Bioware's troubles! World of Warcraft! The rise of CD Projekt Red! Final Fantasy XIV's fall and resurrection! They don't make drama like this anymore. Also in this episode: The Live A Live demo is…live. And it's already something special. Mega Man Battle Network is getting a collection. Hey, it's RPG-adjacent. And the second game has a lot of swear words in it for some reason. Is it "Nicky-Nicky-Nine-Door" or "Ding-Dong-Ditch?" Come to our upcoming charity stream for Trans Lifeline, or else. In the Post Show Leana joins the gang for the usual hodge-podge of good stuff that the Blood God Crew wrings out of itself at the end of every show. This week, the discussion turns to live-action and/or animated adaptations of video games that we'd like to see. Plus, lots of Summer Games Done Quick discussion… and hey! Nadia got a gaming computer that's worth half a damn! This episode is available exclusively to our Patrons in the Stars of Destiny tier and above!
