Are you your child's best teacher? In this episode, Robert reacts to a video of Leigh Bortins and Corey McKeown, director of the Trinity Homeschool Academy (T.E.A.C.H.) in Tampa, Florida, discussing the rise of homeschooling with Pete Hegseth on Fox and Friends. In the video, Corey explains why there has been an explosion of homeschooling in her state due to the success of homeschool co-ops where students can take classes from expert teachers. Unconvinced, Robert analyzes whether it's necessary to send homeschool students to a co-op to learn from an expert instead of “just another mom.” In other words, can everyday parents rely on the classical tools of learning and community support to teach their children any subject? Finishing it up, Robert reflects on the true reasons why homeschooling is seeing a surge not just in Florida but nationwide as parents wake up to the nonsense in the traditional school system. In “Classical Crypto,” Will catches us up on the latest news on the downfall of Sam-Bankman Fried, the collapse of FTX, and the ultimate trial results. Public schools continue to promote transgenderism, anti-whitism, and atheism. Classical Conversations founder Leigh Bortins is here to talk about the superior educational outcomes of homeschooling. Homeschooling breaks the government model that demands kids spend most of their time away from their parents. The military industrial complex has been caught lying about the war in Ukraine thanks to leaked documents. Frankie Stockes is here to talk about the top secret documents that show our leaders lied when they claimed there are no U.S. troops in Ukraine. One of the chief rituals of the modern leftist cult is the drag show. Odessa Orlewicz is here to talk about new Canadian laws that are overtly anti-Christian. Built on Family—Built for FamiliesClassical Conversations is a proven Christian homeschool program created by parents for parents. We do this through a Christ-centered and family-friendly approach to homeschooling that makes everything biblical and hospitable, focused on three simple key areas: Classical, Christian and Community. Our home education program covers K-4 to college credit and includes college degree opportunities for parents, as well. We believe that you are the best educator for your student, and we make the homeschool journey doable. We not only provide you with a consistent roadmap that you can follow at your own pace, but also connect you with a local homeschool community group, giving you accountability and the support of knowing you are not in this journey alone. From its origins in 1997 with eleven students and parents in the basement of Leigh Bortins' North Carolina home to proudly serving over 45,000 families now enrolled in its programs spread over 50 countries globally, Classical Conversations always was and always will be about family. The Bortins family has always valued following God's guidance in teaching other families how to “train up their children in the way that they should go.”In 2022, Fox Nation made a companion documentary retitled “The Miseducation of America.” Although the documentary differed from the book and did not align with my personal views on the problems and solutions to education, I could see the Fox team was trying to expand the conversation beyond civil government education. Accordingly, Classical Conversations (CC), my home school support organization, promoted watch parties for Season 1 and discussed our points of agreement and disagreement. The CC home-schooling community was, in general, happy to see a major media outlet finally acknowledge what we have been shouting from the rooftops for 50 years. From Fox Nation's perspective, the series was well-watched and well-received. Pete Hegseth wanted to continue the series and ignite a growing insurgency that could break the hold of civil government on education. I hoped that Season 2 would be less about the obvious results of inherently socialist education and more about the myriad of truly free-market, privately-funded, academic choices that already exist. Through some mutual friends, I was recommended as a guest for Season 2 and was excited that Pete Hegseth included me in the series. I am so grateful to have been included in the final episode. I'm pleased that Season 2 ended on a positive note with Classical Conversations and the Association of Christian Classical Schools highlighted.READ MORE HERE:Leigh Bortins, is the founder and chief visionary officer of Classical Conversations, which supports classical, Christian homeschoolers in all fifty states and in thirty foreign countries. Do lawmakers have it all wrong on children's education? Leigh Bortins from Classical Conversations thinks so. She joins “Faithful Freedom with Teryn Gregson, presented by We The Patriots USA” to offer an alternative to universal education vouchers, or money follows the child propositions, and make a case for a free market for childhood education and learning. Founder of one of the largest homeschool curriculums and parent support systems in the country, Leigh explains how our children's souls are at stake and what she thinks and has seen families, churches and communities do about it, regardless of income level or time availability. As always, the views discussed in this interview are the independent views of our show guests. Because we here at We The Patriots USA, vehemently defend free speech.Classical Conversations: https://classicalconversations.com/Transgenderism in Public Schools violates Constitution, Caldwell Parents from Headline-Making Board Meeting | Ep 53: https://rumble.com/v2750uk-transgenderism-in-public-schools-violates-constitution-caldwell-board-meeti.html?mref=p5bza&mc=dby19Brian Festa, “Identity Crisis, the New Religion of Transgenderism in Public Schools: https://wethepatriotsusa.org/identity-crisis-the-new-religion-of-transgenderism-in-public-schools/ Subscribe to the podcast newsletter: https://teryngregson.com/podcastSubscribe to the We The Patriots USA newsletter: https://wethepatriotsusa.org/news-updates/Subscribe to the podcast:iTunes: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/faithful-freedom-with-teryn-gregson/id1598602749Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/6dKsn0JqtNJfarUUVYuv5v?si=a810d53643fb4017Google Play: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9pbmZvNjA1NzAucG9kb21hdGljLmNvbS9yc3MyLnhtbAYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/teryngregsonRumble: https://rumble.com/c/c-1020046Shop Faith & Freedom Over Fear Gear: https://wethepatriotsusa.org/faithful-freedom

Click link to Register Intro CEO of Classical Conversations is a job that Robert Bortins was born to do…literally. Leigh Bortins dissatisfied with the education options she found as a new mom, decided first to homeschool her four sons, and then decided to develop her own curriculum, and Robert, her oldest son, was her first pupil. Robert has a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University in 2006. After graduating, he worked as a management trainee for UPS and as a plant engineer for Easy Gardener, a Jobes company. In 2011 he returned to the family business, Classical Conversations, Inc., to develop a marketing program. He was then appointed CEO of the family-owned company in 2012. In the years since Robert Bortins became CEO of Classical Conversations, the company has grown by 300 percent and has become the world's largest classical homeschooling organization. Robert is a member of the board of directors of Homeschool Now USA, the Carolinas Rugby Union and the Clemson University Rugby Foundation Board. He is also a member of C12 Group, the largest professional development network of Christian CEOs and executives. Under Robert's leadership, Classical Conversations has been named a Certified Best Christian Workplace by BCWI for four years in a row. Very Powerful, Convicting and Thought Provoking Takeaways You do not need to be a trained educator to teach your children; sometimes being trained is a hinderance since homeschooling is not schooling at home but a way of life, and unlearning those habits can be hard. When parents say they cannot be around their children all day is a sign of a deeper that parents do not want to address. Not wanting to be around your kid also means you did not raise them in way that you would want to be around them. Education is to prepare you to engage in life and with those around you. Homeschooling allows your teenager to mature in the areas that are important and will benefit them and their future society.
