The Internet is excited about AI-DA, the first humanoid robot AI artist, a machine that has become the first to sell a piece of art through a major auction house. Some of its art almost reminds one of the character Sonny from. I, Robot. Other pieces seem to have a darker feel. Interestingly, the name AIDA means 'happy' but a reversal to ADIA translates to 'a gift from god' - though we can ask what kind of gift and of which god? AIDA is just the most recent iteration of a building movement of AI art, including pictures, videos, and even egregores, from Momo to Crungus and Loab. It is a sort of digital cosmic horror that intrigues and terrifies. One Florida mom is now suing Character.ai, accusing the company's AI-chat bot of abusing her teenage son and attempting to engage in sexual interactions with him, things that cause him to commit suicide. The same company is also under the microscope for the usage of a dead girl's personality and pictures to create a chatbot. Other chat bots are being intentionally programmed with data from the dead to resurrect them in a form of digital-necromancy. There is a common theme here, from AI-artists and humanoid chatbots, to Sophia, the robot that famously said she wanted children and a family, and even AIDA, which is being humanized in the same way, with some art websites calling her ‘hot' due to her soft features and pretty dress. If the machines are taking on these human characteristics, even if it's just so we more easily identify with them, it means that beautiful art and children are two things that are inherently human. If men in particular, but women also, would prefer to date, have sex with, or marry these bots or machines then we have an interesting predicament: machines acting human and humans acting like machines. The chatbots can be manipulated into producing undesirable output by adding a specific string of information to a prompt, also called an incantation. The researchers tested this vulnerability on several popular chatbots, including ChatGPT and Google's Bard, and found the attack successful. There may not be a corner of the internet garnering more buzz today than Ai. Specifically, Ai-generated art is creating quite a stir. One side of Ai art that wasn't expected is a woman named Loab. In April of 2022 a user creating with an Ai-art generator created a terrifying image of a woman. This user subsequently recreated the woman in increasingly horrifying forms for months before releasing the photos to the public. He named her Loab after the text generated in one of the many images. The image is significant because of the sheer volume of images that have been created representing her. Furthermore, the gruesome nature of the images is unlike anything else in Ai art. Some believe there's a ghost in the machine. In February 2003, a woman called Lana Clarkson was found dead at the Hollywood mansion of the iconic music producer Phil Spector. It was a global news sensation, with Spector insisting that the 40-year-old actor – whom he had only met that evening - had killed herself with his gun. A new Sky documentary series called Spector re-examines what happened almost 20 years ago, and speaks to her family and friends for the first time. Well, if so, the British Medical Journal has said that swimmers should be told more about the risks of a lung condition known as SIPE - swimming-induced pulmonary oedema. Welcome back to the show everyone, on this episode we dive straight into what is being called the first A.I. cryptid or demon. This possible entity has apparently named itself, and the name it chose was LOAB. Someone began searching the negative space on these A.I. artwork programs. When they got into it they found a woman kept popping up. The images were also getting more and more graphic. The more this artist keep searching and adding images to LOAB the more graphic they would become. After running it for so long it should have worked LOAB out, however she kept coming back. Is it possible some A.I. tried creating itself into a tulpa like slender man. Or was it just trying to escape the prison it was in. It could be possible that it was trying to spread which it seems to be doing.
