For the latest Everything Action commentary, Zach and Chris celebrate this month's Lunar New Year with another Jackie Chan movie, last year's team-up with John Cena, Hidden Strike.Chan is a former Chinese special forces soldier who now runs a private security unit while Cena is a former Marine turned mercenary. Their paths collide in the Middle East on the "Highway of Death" as Chan's "Dragon" Feng is tasked with transporting the crew of a Chinese oil refinery and Cena's Chris Van Horne is roped into kidnapping a professor who is among the evacuated civilians. We love when our return guests ask for us by name and that's exactly what happened when we were pitched this interview with director Shana Feste. We met Shana during her press tour of her film Boundaries back in 2018 and then we were reunited at the 2020 Sundance  Film Festival. It's been two whole years (plus some months) but her film Run Sweetheart Run is out in the universe streaming right now on Amazon Prime.We get to catch up with Shana about using her hometown of Los Angeles as the backdrop of Run Sweetheart Run, her loyal music supervisor (who picked some great songs for the film btw), writing about periods for a film, her real life story of a date that got scary and later was the basis of Run Sweetheart Run, the movie review site Rotten Tomatoes, and more. It was great to speak with Shana again and we can't wait to see what's up her sleeve on the big screen and beyond. The film was originally scheduled to hit theatres on April 21st next year. The Last Train to New York is helmed by Timo Tjahjanto, whose previous works include May the Devil Take You. Meanwhile, Warner Bros has decided to release another horror film, Salem's Lot, on the said date. Based on Stephen King's novel of the same name, the film is helmed by Annabelle Comes Home director and It writer Gary Dauberman. The film  stars Lewis Pullman, Makenzie Leigh, Alfre Woodard, John Benjamin Hickey, Bill Camp, Jordan Preston Carter, and  Pilou Asbaek.Only Murders in the Building to get a third season The hit mystery-comedy series Only Murders in the Building has been renewed for a third season. The news comes just weeks after the premiere of the second season of the series starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez. The Hulu series revolves around three individuals who are obsessed with a true-crime podcast and find themselves in a murder mystery of their own. The first two seasons of the show can be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar in India. Loot renewed for second season Apple TV+'s ongoing comedy series Loot, featuring Emmy winner Maya Rudolph in the lead role, has been renewed for a second season. The series which premiered on the streaming platform last month has garnered positive reviews from critics and viewers alike.
