May 21, 2025 - Season 15, Episode 136 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the latest news concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers and that includes the waiving of OL Lecitus Smith on Tuesday. We go on to discuss the current depth issues facing the Steelers this summer when it comes to their offensive line unit. The NFL is addressing and voting on several rule change proposals on Wednesday, so Alex and I make sure to recap all of those. We discuss NFL players now being allowed to compete in the Olympics in flag football, the fairness of the Tush Push and the new rule concerning onside kickoffs. Alex and I briefly look ahead at the teams that might be looking to select a quarterback in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft and how that could impact the Steelers wanting to do so. We also briefly discuss how much work Steelers rookie QB Will Howard might get this summer in training camp and the preseason. Howard had an interview with Kay Adams at the annual NFL Rookie Premier event, so we go over a few things that he said during it. The Steelers reportedly indeed had some level of interest in trading for New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave earlier in the offseason, so Alex and I go over that little nugget that was passed along on Wednesday morning. Alex and I then move on to talk about Steelers rookie RB Kaleb Johnson as it relates to his pass protection ability in college. We go over what the tape says concerning that phase of his game. Steelers DT Cameron Heyward made his thoughts known recently about the team's travel plans for their last international game several years ago, so we make sure to go over his comments on that topic. This 83-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap. We end this show by answering several emails we received from listeners of the show. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Steelers 2025 schedule was released almost a week ago. While there is plenty of debate about how bad the schedule is for the Steelers, which game will be the best experience to attend in person as a Steelers fan is a whole different subject. This will be just one of the subjects that will be discussed on the Scho Bro Show, the brotherly love entry of the Steel Curtain Network's family of podcasts. The Pittsburgh Steelers took Will Howard in the 6th Round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and some lofty expectations have already been heaped upon the young man's shoulders. The question on everyone's mind right now is simple. What will it take for Howard to even get a shot in 2025? There are two potential roads which could lead to Howard seeing playing time in 2025, and that's what Jeff Hartman discusses on the Wednesday "Let's Ride" podcast. Along with that is the popular Mailbag Segment. This podcast is a part of the Steel Curtain Network, a proud member of the Fans First Sports Network. Learn more about your ad choices. Seven of the eight teams in this edition of Offseason Buy or Sell made the playoffs last year, and the one that didn't, the Bengals, had one of the best offenses in the league. May 20 – Ep. 56: On this episode of The Depot Dive, Ross McCorkle and Joe Clark kick things off by discussing some comments made by former Steelers QB Charlie Batch. They debate his opinion about Mason Rudolph potentially gaining an edge over Aaron Rodgers if he waits too long to sign. We talk about that opinion as well as some things said by his biographer at the end of last week. For the second topic, we discuss Mason Rudolph's interview on Kaboly + Mack where he talks about the QB depth chart, getting acclimated to Arthur Smith's offense and more. Finally, we discuss the annual media projections of the Steelers having their first losing season under Mike Tomlin and why that is unlikely to happen regardless of who is at quarterback. May 19, 2025 - Season 15, Episode 135 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, which was recorded Sunday night, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the latest rumor concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers possibly trading for New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave. Alex and I look at all angles related to Olave and that includes his contract, his health, the Saints wide receiver depth chart, and much more. We go over what a few beat writers that cover the Saints think about the possibility of Olave being traded as well. As a whole, Alex and I come to the conclusion that the Steelers are very unlikely to trade for Olave this summer. Alex and I then go over a short list of wide receivers that the Steelers might consider trading for this offseason if Olave winds up being unobtainable. Will and should the Steelers sign WR Calvin Austin III to a contract extension this offseason? Alex and I attempt to answer those questions during this show. We also look at the overall probability that Austin will be signed to an extension this offseason. We discuss what a strong 2025 season would look like for Austin as well. Is there a drop-dead date for veteran free agent QB Aaron Rodgers when it comes to the Steelers needing a decision from him? Alex and I attempt to answer that question during this show. Alex and I later provide our top-five outside additions the Steelers have made so far this offseason either through free agency or the draft. Much later in this show, Alex and I discuss the possibility of rookie QB Will Howard seeing playing time in 2025 based on history of third-string quarterbacks being needed around the NFL in recent seasons. This 83-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap as well.
