In this deeply inspiring episode of Unreasonable Health, Regan Archibald sits down with Qigong master and wellness warrior Tristan Truscott to explore how ancient healing wisdom can transform modern lives. From the intense pain of a debilitating back injury to becoming a global teacher of energy healing, Tristan shares his powerful journey of rediscovery and recovery through Qigong. He discusses how this ancient art—predating martial arts—activates the body's own healing intelligence, and how energy, like peptides, carries life-changing information throughout the body. The conversation dives into emotional alchemy, fascia, meridians, and the “three treasures” of Chinese medicine—Jing, Qi, and Shen. With science-meets-spirit insights and tools you can use today, this episode is a masterclass in healing, purpose, and awakening to unconditional love. https://satorimethod.com/about-us/

Tónlist í þættinum: Hæ Mambó / Haukur Morthens (Merril, texti Loftur Guðmundsson) Að vera í sambandi / Stuðmenn (Tómas Magnús Tómasson, Valgeir Guðjónsson og Jakob Frímann Magnússon) Léttur í lundu / Bítlavinafélagið (Karl Hermannsson) On the Road Again / Canned Heat (Alan C Wilson & Floyd V Jones) UMSJÓN GUÐRÚN GUNNARSDÓTTIR OG GUNNAR HANSSON

This conversation is quite different than our last talk. In this episode Ken and I kind of let loose and express our feelings about what's currently occurring amongst humanity at this present time. We both give examples of how we deal with the stress and the influx of contradictory information that's coming into our experiences. This episode may be somewhat controversial. I think in these times we have to discuss all possibilities although to some they may seem like conspiracies and may feel uncomfortable. Please keep an open mind while listening to this conversation. In Episode #14 of the Mindful Life Podcast I talk with with my good friend and local Wellness Practitioner, Mick Ryan. Mick is a real mixed bag as far as modalities go. He, along with his Yoga teacher wife Chandra have a clinic in Doreen where Mick predominantly offers Acupuncture, but he also provides a range of massage techniques, meditation sessions, Tai Chi, Quigong and Spiritual and Energetic Healing. Mick takes a wholistic approach to wellness, believing that if there is disharmony in the spirit this leads to a psychological disharmony which then finally becomes a physical disharmony or a physical ailment. Mick is a wealth of knowledge and I feel I learn something new and valuable every time we meet. I was lucky enough to sit down and have a bit of chat about his acupuncture practice. It was fascinating to learn that this ancient Eastern Medical Practice can not only uncover the root cause of our difficulties but it can also assist us with a range of physical and psychological symptoms. Acupuncture is a valuable strategy and technique to add to our wellness toolbox, something we can access to manage pain, stress and restore homeostasis and instill peace and calm.
