The trade deadline has finally passed and we are here to tell you all about it. Join Adam, Brian, and Noah, for a breakdown of all the winners and losers of the last chance these teams had to make trades before the end of the season. The Padres won the Juan Soto lottery and took Josh Hader from the Brewers, the Blue Jays convinced Whit Merrifield to get vaccinated, the Red Sox picked up Tommy Pham and Eric Hosmer, and the Rockies did absolutely nothing. This week saw a lot of crazy trade action but much more importantly and much more unfortunately it marked the death of a baseball legend. RIP Vin Scully.

Kevin starts the episode by giving his condolences on the recent passing of MLB legend Vin Scully. Vin passes away at the age of 94 and is know best for his 67 years are the play by play announcer of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Vin was the voice of an entire generation and has some of the greatest all time calls in sports. Kevin then hands out his grades for the recent trade deadline. He discusses each teams thought process as they maneuvered through the deadline. The Yankees and Padres really improved themselves while the Rockies and Cubs did nothing and failed to take advantage of this opportunity. Kevin wraps up the show giving updates on the odds for MLB Futures bets. Many of the award winners are all but wrapped up at this point, but he National League MVP still has potential value. Im Back!! The first podcast in a year about my thoughts and the legendary Vin Scully plus my reaction to how the Dodgers have been playing and the trade deadline.
We remember and talk about the greatest of all time Vin Scully, his life, legacy and what he meant to both of us as baseball fans hearing him throughout our entire lives. Giants win 4 game series against the cubs but who cares when the Dodgers shit all over your season. Dodgers win series over the Rockies but then beat the Giants like they stole something. At the deadline the Dodgers add Joey Gallo and Chris Martin. Giants lose Ruf, Casali and Boyd for prospects and JD Davis confusing and pissing off the entire fan base. Padres add Juan Soto, Yankees, Braves and Seattle add big. We look forward to next week for the Dodgers and Giants, this and so much more on this week's episode!

Back on the Godzilla hype train and it FEELS GOOD. Can't wait to see all the fake headlines, glimpses and fan theories and eventually a trailer. AMAZING. Also vin scully s passing was a tough one for the dodgers and a tough one for fans especially. I still haven't grown into the new guys yet and I don't imagine they will have shine until after the dodgers collapse and build themselves back from the bottom.

Alex then gives his analysis of Nancy Pelosi's Taiwan visit and what it means for America, her legacy, her portfolio, and the Biden Administration. Then, we have our "Woke Update", Alex spaces out on the name of Rachel Levine (which is inadvertently hilarious), and the opening concludes with a tribute to legendary Dodger broadcaster Vin Scully, who passed away at 94. Our guest today is Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY). He previews hearings on America's potential role in funding gain of function research at the Wuhan virology lab in China. Then, we get into the current state of the pandemic, Monkeypox, and Bidenflation.
Hancock and Kelley fill in for the DGS this week. In the first hour of today's show, the boys are joined by Spanish Cardinals broadcaster Polo Ascencio to share memories of Vin Scully who passed away yesterday; and by Cubs insider for NBC Sports Chicago Gordon Wittenmyer to discuss the Cardinals vs Cubs series, and the Cubs moves or (lack thereof) at the trade deadline. The fellas also discuss MO primary election results and the impending severe weather with Maria Keena.
- What will you go out of your way for? - Who's sold the most concert tickets EVER? - Hinterland is BIGGER than ever! - RIP Vin Scully
