The Chicago Bears beat the Green Bay Packers 31–27 in the NFL Wild Card Round, and this is the immediate postgame reaction from Missing the Point. DK Sizzle (Dave Clarke) is joined by first-time guest Leah Clarke (Steelers fan / wife / resident sanity coach) to break down the Bears–Packers playoff comeback after Chicago trailed 21–3 at halftime and pulled off an 18-point comeback—the largest Bears playoff comeback in franchise history. We talk Caleb Williams’ clutch 4th quarter, Ben Johnson’s aggression, the Bears offense finally taking control late, and why the Bears defense felt like chaos even when it made the final stand. We relive the biggest swings: missed chances on loose balls, the moment the Bears found life, the late-game drive, and the “too much time left” panic as the Packers pushed into field goal range. Then we zoom out: what this win means for the Bears season, why Caleb’s postgame mindset (“job’s not finished”) hits different, and how Chicago’s narrative changes after finally winning a playoff game for the first time in 15 years. We also sneak in a quick Steelers–Texans preview (Monday Night Football), CJ Stroud cold-weather chatter, Pittsburgh’s defensive identity, and why you should probably smash the under. Bears. Packers. Playoffs. Immediate aftermath. Bear down.

Dan walks through what this means, the evidentiary challenges of a destroyed vehicle, and the tragedy of Joshua's world flipping from a knockout victory over Jake Paul to losing friends in a crash.Mike L and Dan tackle the ugliest side of sports: online harassment and death threats aimed at kickers. January 9, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 75 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest news concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare to play the Houston Texans on Monday night in a home Wild Card game. Alex and I discuss the recent practice squad move made by the Steelers in addition to the team's injury report that was released on Thursday. We also go over the injury situation with the Texans as of Thursday. Steelers OC Arthur Smith will interview with the Tennessee Titans for their open head coaching job, so Alex and I make sure to address that news thoroughly. Is Smith prime head coach material right now? Will he ultimately land a second head coaching job this offseason? We attempt to answer those questions in this show. We also address some potential successors to Smith should he wind out being hired away from the Steelers this offseason. Might Steelers S DeShon Elliott be able to return from his injury should the team advance deeper into the playoffs? We go over the possibility of that happening and the latest Instagram post made by Elliott. How important is Steelers QB Aaron Rosdgers to the team heading into the playoffs and how much of an advantage will he having played the Texans last season as a member of the New York Jets matter come Monday night? We address that question and go over a few things Rodgers said on Thursday to the media. On Thursday, we once again heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions. There's not a lot to chew on from those two once again this week, but we tackle the most notable comments from both, ahead of the Monday night game against the Texans. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin was on The Rich Eisen Show on Wednesday, so Alex and I go over the key things he had to say during that interview. Alex and I then give our picks against the spread for all of the NFL Wild Card NFL games provided by show sponsor MyBookie.ag.
