Today is another episode in our RD Meet the Team Series where you will get to hear Sam interview the amazing providers that make up the Find Food Freedom® Team! Today we are featuring: Julie Roberti! A note from Julie: “When I first started my training as a Registered Dietitian I fell into a very disordered relationship with food and my body. The first time I lost weight was by accident, but the results were overwhelming. I got so much attention and noticed when I stopped restricting I gained back the weight plus some. The control, the attention, all of it was so enticing. This rollercoaster lasted for over two decades. In my mid 40's going through perimenopause my body gave up, I could not lose even a pound. That was when I decided to stop dieting and just eat what felt good. Over the next 10 years my weight increased but my joy and love of life also increased. It took a long time to make peace with my new body, especially after menopause. But, the peace of enjoying going out to dinner with my friends and family, going on vacations, family celebrations and no longer being obsessive about everything I ate felt amazing. Getting my certification in Intuitive Eating was one of the most amazing experiences for me both personally and professionally. Getting to work with my clients and understanding each step they are going through helps me to really help them unpack their own trauma around diet culture. I feel very lucky to be able to work with my clients and support them through each step of the process!” Julie's Client Rennie's Podcast Episode: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/our-client-shares-her-honest-intuitive-eating-journey/id1561021438?i=1000702799740
