Welcome to Multiverse News, Your source for Information about all your favorite fictional universes Last week, The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Jason Momoa, the actor who famously played the title role in the billion-dollar grossing Aquaman film, has signed on to portray the character Lobo in the upcoming DC Studios film, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. Momoa, no stranger to Warner Bros or DC, has long been campaigning for the role of the intergalactic biker bounty hunter who first debuted in comics in 1983. Elsewhere, filmmaker Matt Reeves, broke his silence on The Batman II delay situation while attending the Golden Globes this weekend, saying, “I can tell you that we'll be shooting this year. We're doing something where the story continues from, but I hope that people will be surprised by.” During a recent interview with GQ, Andrew Garfield, the Amazing Spider-Man himself, dispelled rumors that he has signed on to reprise his role in the upcoming fourth Marvel Studios' Tom Holland-led Spider-Man film. Ever self-aware, the actor acknowledged the weight his objections hold, given his track record, having been in the exact situation prior to No Way Home's release, saying, “I'm gonna disappoint you - Yeah, no. But I know no one's gonna trust anything I say from now on.” We might be light on Marvel news this week, but Sunday evening's 82nd Golden Globes Awards ceremony saw many an MCU friend and foe in attendance. Kathryn Hahn was nominated for her role in Agatha All Along, Sebastian Stan was twice nominated and won once, and Captain America Brave New World stars, Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford took the stage to present an award, as did MCU alumni Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum. Now that you got your Marvel fix, let's talk about some winners and snubs: on the TV side of things, the winners circle featured usual suspects – FX's Shogun and The Bear, still being awarded as a comedy despite the protests, Max's Hacks, and newcomer Baby Reindeer from Netflix snagging a couple of wins. Also worthy of note: Colin Farrell, narrowly avoiding a snub, took home the sole award for HBO's The Penguin. Netflix and A24 ruled the evening as far as film is concerned, with Emilia Perez and The Brutalist being highly awarded, although Wicked refused to be relegated to the sidelines, taking home the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement Award. Disney's Mufasa: The Lion King led the first weekend of the new year with $23.8 million domestically, reaching $476.4 million globally. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 followed closely with $21.2 million in the U.S. and a worldwide total of $336.3 million. Tom Holland and Zendaya are engaged – as revealed by the ring she wore during the Golden Globes Red Carpet Peacock is developing a film reboot of the 2011 NBC series Grimm, with Drop Dead Diva creator Josh Berman writing and executive producing alongside the original show's co-creators and showrunners. HBO has released a new short teaser trailer for The Last of Us season 2 and confirmed that the series will begin streaming in April. Sony has announced a movie adaptation of Horizon Zero Dawn in collaboration with PlayStation Studios and Columbia Pictures, the studio behind 2022's Uncharted. While no release date has been set, the film will bring Guerrilla Games' post-apocalyptic adventure starring machine hunter Aloy to the big screen. Jacob Elordi is in early negotiations to replace Paul Mescal in Ridley Scott's The Dog Stars. Mark L. Smith and Christopher Wilkinson wrote the script for the 20th Century Studios film, which adapts Peter Heller's 2012 apocalyptic novel of the same name. Disney+ has greenlit a pilot for a TV series adaptation of Louis Sachar's beloved novel "Holes." The project follows in the footsteps of Disney's 2003 film version of the book, though no further details about the potential series have been revealed yet.

Jennifer spills the beans on what it takes to be an actress in Hollywood. We talk "Beverly Hills Housewives", how your gal pal will cover your problem spots in lesbian love scenes, poker, glamour, getting hit on by producers, and the indignity of promoting yourself by going on to podcasts like this one.Bio: Jennifer Tilly received an Academy Award nomination for her role in Woody Allen's “Bullets Over Broadway” for her memorable portrayal of the terribly untalented Olive, actress wannabe, and gangster's moll. Her performance in “Liar Liar” as Jim Carrey's gold-digging client earned her an American Comedy Award nomination, as well as a Blockbuster award nomination as Favorite Supporting Actress.Tilly is perhaps best known from the indie noir film “Bound”, which has earned her a cult following. “Bound,” directed by the Wachowski's follows two lesbian con artists trying to rip off the mob. I just got back from the trip of a lifetime... 20 years in the making. I spent a week with my daughter on the island of Grenada, where Ella had her 1st birthday and took her first steps. It had me reflecting on how much I've grown and learned in 20 years. And what I'd tell the 21-year-old version of me if I could. I'm sharing those lessons on the podcast this week! It's a real sentimental look at being a mother, an MD, and a woman in America today. Be sure to share it with the young ladies inn your life! And here's the link to the pilot episode for Drop Dead Diva... it's super cute. Let's start your Healthy Me Reset together! Click here to apply.
Welcome back to another episode. I am your host, Karen Oliver, and I am the owner of "Dream Fearless Podcast". Today, we have a guest in the film business since 2009 while battling her healing issues. As a mother of three, Vitelle juggles a family and her entertainment career while helping others achieve their goals. In 2010, she officially founded her first non-profit organization, "The Feed the Homeless Tour," in which she and her family help homeless individuals from state to state during their industry tours. With roles in films and TV shows such as Tyler Perry's "I CAN DO BAD ALL BY MYSELF," Lifetime's "DROP DEAD DIVA," and The CW's "VAMPIRE DIARIES," Vitelle took a step back from the spotlight to focus on her stage production, "THE FACE OF HOMELESS." The production premiered in Atlanta, GA, in August 2013, and for the first time, tied her career and passion for helping the homeless together into one beautiful package. In 2022, she officially founded Us 3 Productions, which combines all her talents into various projects meant for healing and deliverance rather than simply entertainment.

“I can't believe this is real life,” says Christi on this latest episode of Back to the Barre, “We're standing there arguing on national television over a bow.” Jill and Kendall are back, having left Candy Apples, and Jill is being accused of stealing a two-dollar hair bow at the Starpower competition in Lancaster, PA. Before that though, at the beginning of the episode, she is accused of stealing Kelly's hairstyle. Meanwhile, Abby criticizes Nia's hairstyle, telling her to fix it, and Holly fires back at Abby to fix everything about herself. Seeing famously stoic and diplomatic Dr. Holly act more like Kelly and Christi has all the girls in hysterics. The casting director of Drop Dead Diva calls to say–to no one's surprise–that Maddie has been chosen for the role that all the girls auditioned for the week prior, even though the part was promised to Paige.A young man named Nick joins the girls this week to perform the part of the vampire in a Twilight-themed group dance and Abby openly directs him to bite the girls and vice versa. She has also given nicknames to both Brooke and Mackenzie's bellies, which is why Brooke always wears a shirt over her leotard. Still the most shocking part of the episode is that Abby is wearing white in one of her interviews. Quotes“I would pay all of the money in the world to see Abby do an arabesque. And not because of any weight thing. I'm just saying, she can't do it.” (30:07-30:16 | Christi) “That's why Brooke always wears a shirt. Abby had names for both Brooke and Mackenzie's bellies, which is a horrible thing. ‘Take your belly out of here,' she tells Mackenzie. But then people get mad at me when I say to Abby, ‘Oh, stop eating. That's why you're fat.' But she says that to my daughter and other girls in the studio every day.” (42:54-43:21 | Kelly)“And I love Holly in this moment. I want more of this Holly. Show up, please. She said, ‘I'm entitled to my opinion because I'm 42 years old and a free American citizen. I get to say what I believe, what I want, andI stand on my credentials and my knowledge, something you can never take away.' Do you see what happens right then? Well, Abby cannot go toe-to-toe with Holly. So she goes after Nia.” (47:03-47:28 | Christi) LinksSubscribe to us on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC50aSBAYXH_9yU2YkKyXZ0w Subscribe to our Patreon: www.patreon.com/backtothebarreThank you to Ashley Jana for allowing us to use Electricity!! I had the sheer joy & opportunity to sit down with actress and comedian, Tammy Tavares. We discussed her journey from a trailer park in Mishawaka, Indiana to Beverly Hills adjacent, including her colorful resume of strip clubs, sugar daddies and an unrealized career in hairdressing, which ultimately landed her in a stable marriage and later become the foundation for her comedy.Tammy's chaotic childhood made her well-prepared for a career in Hollywood. In addition to the 12 years she played Dr. Karen Bader on Days of Our Lives, Tammy has appeared on Two and a Half Men, Drop Dead Diva, Las Vegas, N.Y.P.D. Blue and General Hospital. Her film roles include Mike Nichols' What Planet Are You From?; Beautiful Girl with Brendan Sexton III and Fuel, which won the Grand Jury Award at the Lisbon International Film Festival and Best Experimental Film in Mexico City International Film Festival in 2007.After 20 years playing roles ranging from Doctors to Dominatrix, the stories of Tammy's white trash family roots told on the crisp, clean wool carpets of her Los Angeles condo were enough to push her to the stages of local open mics. Since then, Tammy has quenched her artistic thirst through tales of teenage parents, spending a year as a stripper hooked on Vicodin, and the toughest of all, being a wife.Tammy resides in 9021-almost with her handsome, Germanic husband, Mark and their two cream-colored chow chows Mr. Eazy & Zoey. On this episode of Too Opinionated, we sit down with actor/director Tim Matheson. Tim Matheson is an American actor, director and producer perhaps best known for his portrayal of the smooth talking 'Eric "Otter" Stratton' in the 1978 comedy, National Lampoon's Animal House, but has had a variety of other well-known roles both before and since, including critical accolades for his playing "Vice President John Hoynes" on the television series, The West Wing, which garnered him two Primetime Emmy award nominations for Best Guest Star in a Drama Series. From 2011 to 2015, Matheson starred as 'Dr. Brick Breeland' in The CW series, Hart of Dixie, opposite Rachel Bilson. He has and continues to direct several episodes each season throughout the series. Not limited to "Hart of Dixie", Matheson has made a career of directing an array of episodic projects on some of television's most prominent shows, including "The Last Ship," "Burn Notice," "Criminal Minds," "Without a Trace," "Cold Case," "Numbers," "Drop Dead Diva," "Suits," "Eureka" and "White Collar," as well as pilots for Fox's "The Good Guys" and the USA Network successful original series "Covert Affairs." In 1964, he provided the voice of the lead character in the cartoon program Jonny Quest, as well as the voice of "Jace" in the original animated series, Space Ghost. Matheson, along with business partner 'Dan Grodnik', bought National Lampoon in 1989, when the magazine was facing financial decline. They took the stock from two dollars to over six dollars, and sold it in 1991. In 1996, Matheson took on the role of a con man who claims to be Carol Brady's thought-to-be-dead husband in A Very Brady Sequel. Matheson was seen opposite Ryan Reynolds in the feature comedy National Lampoon's Van Wilder in 2002, playing the father of the title character, who was inspired by his own character in National Lampoon's Animal House, as a nod to the original film. Tim can currently be seen on The Netflix show Virgin River! Want to Watch: YouTube Meisterkhan Pod

In the mid-90s, comedian Margaret Cho had a sitcom deal with ABC. She wanted to call it "The Margaret Cho Show" and to have Skankin' Pickle to write its theme song. But, the network wanted it to be called "All-American Girl," and they weren't keen on having a ska-punk band write its theme song. Skankin' Pickle singer/saxophonist Mike Park had already written the delightfully catchy song, "It's Margaret Cho." Since it wouldn't be playing on TV, he included it on Skankin' Pickle's third studio album, Sing Along With Skankin' Pickle. Margaret was friends with Mike and other members of the band. She showed up at Pickle shows and danced on the side of the stage whenever she could. But her love for ska and punk goes back to the 80s. These shows were a big part of her development as a person. She saw several amazing bands like Operation Ivy and Fishbone, who she says are her all time favorite band. She even wore a Fishbone shirt for the interview! On this episode, Margaret tells us about her friendship with the Skankin' Pickle. She also discusses the iconic bay area venues that meant a lot to her growing up, like Gilman, The Farm, and Mabuhay Gardens. She even tells us about the wildest show she ever attended. But it turns out, it was a comedy show where a comedian casually drink his own piss and told corny jokes. Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/indefenseofska)
Many of you have heard of the television series The Walking Dead, The Gifted, The Purge, Tell Me Your Secrets, Long Slow Exhale, Drop Dead Diva, and one of my personal favorites, Outer Banks! Today I am speaking with a friend who has had the opportunity to play a role on all of these incredible shows and more. Professional actor and Pensacola native, Chelle Ramos, cultivated a passion for the performing arts early in her life. Learning new routines and leveling up her dance skills required hard work, but she kept it light, fun, and genuinely loved growing as an artist. Years later, as a young adult on a family vacation at Universal Studios, Chelle experienced the opportunity of a lifetime leading to a successful career in the film industry as a professional actor. On or off set Chelle loves embracing every moment life, especially with friends and time spent nature. She commonly refers to the world as a playground and is intentional about honoring rhythms of health and celebrating the spirit of her inner child. I am so excited for you to join our conversation as we talk about everything from audition tapes, Outer Banks insights of course, and establishing personal boundaries with social media and the public. No post production needed, Chelle is authentic to her core and I cannot wait for you to hear her story!Official show notes available atwww.kohliebrowning.comMusic, "Where the Light Dances" by Yamareewww.instagram.com/yamareeofficial/"Wrong" by Dan Henig"Jindupe" by Lauren Dunski

Along with the announcement is the first teaser for the series, featuring the iconic Bat symbol and our first look at the show's logo. Played by Ruby Rose, Batwoman made her Arrowverse debut during this season's yearly crossover event, titled "Elseworlds." Even though Batwoman will follow Kate Kane's exploits in Gotham City, the series will only get "as close as it possibly can" to Batman without ever physically introducing him. As for his alter ego, Bruce Wayne, he "remains off-limits for the foreseeable future" as far as The CW is concerned. https://www.cbr.com/batwoman-cw-series-order-first-teaser/ Jeopardy Featured A Question on DC's Legends Of Tomorrow (Date: 9 May 2019) Last night's episode of Jeopardy! featured a question about DC's Legends of Tomorrow -- although nobody on the episode could successfully answer it. But for comic book fans, the coolest thing going on last night was a reference to The CW superhero show, in which Caity Lotz plays Sara Lance/White Canary, a role she originated on Arrow. “Filipino martial arts training helped Caity Lotz play Sara Lance, the “White Canary,” who leads the time travelers on this DC show,” the answer read (the question, of course, was “What is DC's Legends of Tomorrow?”). https://comicbook.com/dc/2019/05/09/jeopardy-featured-a-question-on-dcs-legends-of-tomorrow/ NEXT EPISODE Link to Promo: https://www.comicbookmovie.com/tv/dc/arrow/arrow-its-brother-vs-sister-in-the-new-promo-for-the-season-7-finale-you-have-saved-this-city-a168213 (Date: 6 May 2019) Episode: “You Have Saved This City” [Season 7 Episode 22] Air Date: Monday, May 13, 2019 Summary: The battle between Oliver and Emiko comes to a boiling point which brings back some familiar faces and leaves others in dire jeopardy. HOW ARROW, FLASH, SUPERGIRL, AND LEGENDS WILL SAVE THE DAY IN 2017(Date: 06 Oct 2017) When asked about Vigilante, Wendy Mericle said, "He'll definitely come back. We left that dangling deliberately in season five knowing that we would bring that character back in season 6. He'll have a really cool story line, not just in respect to the city, but also with respect to a particular member of the team. We're intrigued and we're kind of going through the casting process right now. We're very excited about it." https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/article/how-arrow-the-flash-supergirl-legends-of-tomorrow-save-the-day-in-2017/4/ Arrow's David Ramsey previews Diggle's turn as Green Arrow (Date: 25 Oct 2017) How will Diggle handle now being the leader of Team Arrow? EW sat down with Ramsey on set to get the scoop. When asked if Diggle's stint as Green Arrow will last, Ramsey replied, "No. No, it's Green Arrow. Stephen Amell is Green Arrow. It's not going to last. Of course not, but I think it's very interesting and it's an interesting twist on how it fits into the ultimate theme of the season, I think it's very clever. I think it's an interesting detour. It also gives us some time with Oliver. I think it's great, and he has some great writing. Stuff is happening between him and Deathstroke, and he and his son and he and Felicity. It's awesome. I think holding it for the few episodes I have the mantle, that's the appropriate amount of time." http://ew.com/tv/2017/10/25/arrow-david-ramsey-diggle-green-arrow/ ARROW CAST AND CREW INTERVIEWS 'The Flash': "Girl's Night Out" Photos Offer First Look At KateeSackhoff As Amunet Black (Date: 28 Oct 2017) KateeSackhoff is coming to The Flash, and she's making bad look good. You guys are fun to listen to and your commentary on Arrow is a great supplement to the show. I liked the connection SP made over the summer between Legends and Timeless (I also loved that show). I'm loving this season of Arrow. Have you guys noticed how the relationship has evolved between Oliver and Quentin? I feel like he has become like a second father to Oliver. It's amazing how it's changed from antagonistic in season 1 to like family in season 5/6. Its kind of sad in a way because I feel like they are going to kill him off. Also I wanted to share this image of the Cincinnati museum center. If you go back to the crossover from last year and see the Hall of Justice, you can see that the attached image looks very familiar. I'm from Cincinnati and the museum center was the inspiration for the original hall of justice.
