In this talk, Jess Bineth, audio producer for ABC, Monique Bowley, former director of podcasts at Mamamia, and Alice Workman, host of Buzzfeed’s Is It On? discuss the dos and don’ts of podcasting. Moderated by award-winning audio producer and academic Siobhan McHugh, this is essential listening for anyone wanting to try their hand at podcasting.

It's the show that Australia didn't even know it needed. The Other Guy, Matt Okine's new show, is a raw, refreshing and tragic look at modern dating, and it breaks all the rules of network TV. We go behind the scenes with the breakout star, Harriet Dyer, who tells us exactly why it's so different. Will and Grace is the latest show to jump on the reboot bandwagon - but has the world moved on from the 90’s sitcom? Plus, is A Typical on Netflix the most important representation of Autism we have ever seen on screens? Or does it miss the mark? And remember when Pacey on Dawson's Creek slept with his teacher? We look at some of the most ridiculous things that happened on our favourite teen TV shows that just wouldn’t fly now… Show Notes This episode is hosted by Monique Bowley and Clare Stephens The Binge is produced by Elissa Ratliff for the Mamamia Podcast Network. Last year, George McEncroe had an epiphany. The single mum of four teenagers applied, twice, to be an Uber driver, but something didn't feel right about it. At the same time, her eldest daughter and her friends were walking home from parties because they didn't feel safe in either taxis or ride-share cars.  "I wish there was a female-only ridesharing service," she thought.  So she decided to make one. As you do. And after a few all- night planning sessions, untold amounts of hard work, throwing in her life savings and convincing family and friends to invest in her ambitious lady startup idea - Shebah was born. Does Osher Gunsberg sleep at the Bachie Mansion? What is Matty J’s dealbreaker? Does The Bachelor Season 5 end happily ever after? If you’ve been thinking any of these questions, then you are in luck. Laura and Clare are joined by Matty J and Osher Gunsberg to talk about all things Bachelor. Plus, Ozark is the new show that has dropped on Netflix with Laura Linney and Jason Bateman, but is it worth watching? And Growing Up Gracefully may just be the best thing on Aussie TV since the Chaser, so why is nobody talking about it? Show Notes This episode is hosted by Laura Brodnik and Clare Stephens The Binge is produced by Elissa Ratliff for the Mamamia Podcast Network. 25 years ago Cameron Daddo was the bloke every teenage girl in the 80's wanted to marry. He was the host of dating show Perfect Match, a multiple Logie winner, and he even released an album. Then, he married Dolly cover girl Alison Brahe and moved to America. Which is where things got interesting. Their marriage fell apart. But because this was the early 90s and pre-Internet, Alison and Cameron got to shrug off the mantle of being Australia's golden couple and work out their crap far from the eyes of the public. How they did that is a fascinating story, as is Cameron’s experience of going from a rolled gold Aussie icon and heartthrob to a door to door salesman…..and back again. When you talk to little girls do you call them 'cute', 'pretty', 'gorgeous' or 'adorable'? It's easy to do, but it can put the emphasis on their looks over other things.  So what can you say instead, to teach young girls they're worth more than their looks? Y'all listen up! Would you go to a family restaurant where there are yodelling youngsters, babies running wild and bare bums staring you in the face?  Plus, we talk to a nanager. What is a nanager, you ask? Well, it's like Mary Poppins crossed with Alice from the Brady Bunch, and we want one right now! And we have a very tricky listener question about boundaries on social media.  Shownotes Your hosts are Holly Wainwright and Andrew Daddo With thanks to Lauren Brown  You can buy any books mentioned on our podcasts from iBooks at apple.co/mamamia, where you can also subscribe to all our other shows in one place. Two AFL executives have resigned over workplace affairs. What does this mean for the office romance?  Can you now lose your job for moral infractions? If you’re planning to run for politics you better get your paperwork in order first. Senator Larissa Waters, the first woman to breastfeed on the floor of Parliament, this week discovered she’s actually a dual citizen of Canada and Australia, which means she's out of politics. Terrible news for her but I guess now she's closer to Justin Trudeau. After a CEO devised a sneaky "text test" for employees, we ask; if your boss texts you after hours, should you respond?  Can the 5:2 diet work for other parts of your life? Another diabolical bridesmaid story broke this week so we ask: is it time to ditch bridesmaids all together? And from bridesmaids to Handmaids: we talk more about our latest TV obsession, and we discover Elisabeth Moss has more in common with her character than we realised.  Show notes Your host is Monique Bowley with Mia Freedman and Jessie Stephens Your producer is Monique Bowley Jessie recommends The Handmaids Tale and watching Ben Shapiro on YouTube Monique recommends The Handmaids Tale and teaching your partner about the gender wage gap by playing "Patriarchal Connect 4" Mia recommends Rabbit Proof Fence, on iTunes, and this article from Julia Baird Leave us a message on the Podcast phone: 02 8999 9386 or join the conversation on the Facebook page: Mamamia Out Loud  And if you can spare a second, leave a review and rating in iTunes; it helps us massively.

I know it feels like a long time between Mocha's. Now that Wednesday's aren't returning until July, our catch up time is down to once a week. It sucks but given the fact that I ask you all to invest in yourselves and listen to your inner child, play time and balance is a part of that so I must practice what I preach. At least that means we get Monday's together right? Now, before you freak out when you listen to this podcast and say, "I've heard this voice before." Other than my dulcet tones, my guest for this week, Australia's Queen of Podcasts herself - Monique Bowley, frequents the airwaves, currently on the Mamamia Podcast Network. Her work is award winning and her witty, quick whips and natural flair for conversation is apparent. What I loved about this particular podcast is that I got to see a deeper side of Monique, even when she told me she "Mutes it when the plop happens." What I loved learning about her was that she is engineered from a place of gratitude; which comes doing what she does....and having a pair legs. Much wisdom, laughter and Monday Motivation in this one, my friends. "I go to mass every Sunday. There is no where in life anymore that tells you not to be a dickhead, as an adult. The one hour on Sunday morning, tells me to be a better person."
