Does it seem like everyone is having or has had thyroid issues? It is a growing problem and when it comes to Low thyroid it can be from an autoimmune trigger. Not all doctors test antibodies when a patient has hypothyroid TSH results. They may test Free T3, T4 but we are missing the diagnostic testing of antibodies.
