Greenwashing is a marketing trend that companies use to trick the consumer into thinking that their products meet specifications that a more conscientious consumer is looking for. When Oncotect first reached out to me and offered a test for my dog Kimberly, I was like "Sure!" and didn't think too much of it. Then the email with the results hit my inbox and my heart sank. I didn't want to open it. Was it better that I just not know? What if she has cancer? I did open it, breath held, and thank goodness her chances for having cancer based on this test were categorized as "low"I know how well I care for my pets, but I'm aware that cancer can still pop up to anyone at any time. Some breeds are more predisposed as well, so we need to be extra vigilant for them.If you'd like to have Oncotect cancer screening done for your dog, check the show notes for all the links!Send us a text
