Hello everyone! This episode expands our awareness of self along our journey here on the planet. I'm excited to share about our In Person Practitioner for the Zodiac Energy Empowerment Series™ . This is Sherri Keenan and she will be helping us to expanding our beliefs along our journey for Sagittarius class through a Sacred Storytelling Through the Lens of the Lakota Tribe Experience & helping us to unlock our unlimited potential. Here is more about Sherri Keenan: “Sherri Keenan is dedicated to cultivating connection and community for seekers of inner peace. Her intention is to support others as they align their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects through yoga, art, herbal medicine, food, ceremony, circle, workshops and events that weave holistic harmony and balance into a transformative tapestry. You're invited to join her authentic journey towards a life filled with fearless love, true connection and spiritual fulfillment, Walking the Wheel of Wild Wellness… together. Your path is as wide and wild as you choose to make it!” I'm excited to begin our core classes for the Zodiac Energy Empowerment Series™!! Our third In Person (only) class for Sagittarius ♐️ will be expanding our beliefs along our journey  for this class w/ Sherri Keenan & Katriel. *What to Bring to Class ~Self, Notebook/series Journal & pen Scope of Today's Class: During this class, we will be learning about the sacred traditions of the Native American Lakota Tribe.  We will learn to call in the directions, partake in a sacred Cacao Ceremony, & connect with each other through storytelling.  Acknowledging, the power of creating stories & noticing how tell stories in our life can limit us or expand us. The Big Picture: As we tune into to our intention for the class & the series, we ask ourselves do we believe it's possible to grow our intention into our manifestation.  Which stories are limiting us and which stories are expanding us?    "The Legacy of the Lakota: the Wind Cave Emergence Story.   In Lakota culture, their deeply rooted history is passed down generations to their ancestors through storytelling. Some of these stories were told in writing before words were ever spoken. Sherri Keenan will be telling the story of the Lakota Emergence. This journey together is an opportunity for connection, stewardship, respect, appreciation and awe. To help teach us about our true relationship to the Earth and all things. To many of the Lakota people, Wind Cave is where their creation story began.    Wind Cave in the beautiful Black Hills is spiritually and culturally significant not only to the Lakota people, but also the Cheyenne and more than 20 different Native American tribes that have traveled in and around South Dakota and what would become Wind Cave National Park. Wind Cave was the first ever cave, sadly designated a national park anywhere in the world."  This series is to give you the sacred space to explore each zodiac energy individually through an activity and on your own time integrate your experience to go deeper on your journey. We are experiencing this series over 12 weeks (the 12 core classes) with also several intro classes and the last celebration class/ festival. Through these 12 classes its important to set an intention and watch your intention grow into your manifestation as you nurture your intention through each class.   There is a Zodiac Energy Empowerment Series™ Journal available to track your journey. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRKHGD8S?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_HXB6GHNAFFS6G9X9YY10 Location: Odessa, FL (Private Location)   Date: Saturday, February 17, 2024   Time EST: 8:00pm - 10:00pm This class is a donation based class *Feel free to bring a food dish in exchange https://www.energyspeaksbykatriel.com/event-details-registration/sagittarius-storytelling-through-the-lakota-traditions-class-in-person-only-w-sherri-katriel *Email: kevindewitt1107@gmail.com with any questions!

Wild Wellness is about coming home to the wisdom of Nature and your Intuition to create a life you actually like. Sounds enchanting, doesn't it? But HOW do we actually do that? On this episode I'm talking all about how to reconnect with Nature and how it actually enables you to create a life you like. And why the opposite is also true: being disconnected from Nature makes it impossible to experience the fullness of joy and pleasure available to us in this life. You'll learn about: connecting to the Earth through grounding, eating nutrient-dense foods, and learning body techniques to regulate your nervous system connecting with the Sun through aligning your circadian rhythms to natural light and your circannual rhythms with the current season of the year connecting with the Moon through aligning your menstrual cycle / feminine energy with your feelings, intuition, nutrition, action plans Mentioned in this episode // extra resources: The blue light blocking glasses I use (red): https://vivarays.com The blue light blocking glasses my husband and daughter use (cheaper): https://spectra479.com/ The amber bulbs we use for lamps after sunset/before sunrise: https://a.co/d/ctg2IN8 The amber plug in lights I use in my kitchen/halls/daughter's nightlight: https://a.co/d/5wj8EgL The red bulb I put in my bathroom: https://a.co/d/aZeei2q Learn more about the Wheel of the Year on this episode Learn more about alignment with your menstrual cycle on this episode Learn more about nervous system regulation techniques on this episode Resources Feel how you want to feel NOW with my Free Desire Map Sign up for a FREE 1:1 coaching curiosity call Join the Wild Wellness Nutrition Support & Mentoring Group Let's connect on social! Instagram Facebook TikTok LinkedIn

Hey, I'm Jess, a wild wellness coach and Spirit-led entrepreneur since 2017. This podcast is a place for people who feel stuck, unfulfilled, lonely, ashamed, and exhausted, and I want to celebrate that with you. Why? Because these unpleasant feelings are really good signs that you're hearing the voice of your Intuition. That holy discontent is not an inner critic voice to be drowned out, but the inner wisdom that needs to be allowed to lead. We're taught that we're the problem, but the reality is the environment is the problem. We live in an environment and cultural context that teaches us to prioritize productivity over pleasure and to push ourselves like limitless machines. I've done the people pleasing, the approval seeking, the workaholism, the chasing of the next goal, the delaying just a little longer of my own dreams, making others' dreams come true, using all of my gifts, talents, and time to accomplish someone else's mission instead of my own. I know you have too, and I'm on a mission to change that, to walk out of these cages and these prisons together, because all of this unnatural self-sacrifice for the benefit of these systems is robbing us of our health, our vitality, our joy and our pleasure. Join me as we come home to the wisdom of Nature and our Intuition to create a life we actually like. I'm here to help you re-wild, to offer a kind of wellness that's not a thing to strive ahead for but to come home to, not a thing to learn or to add or to have, but what you need to unlearn and remove to have again. You're not the problem. You're the solution. Let's connect on social! Alice's drinking got out of control growing up in Tasmania, drinking to numb complicated feelings associated with being gay in an environment in which it was still illegal to be gay at the time and so she kept her identity hidden from everyone around her.  After bravely going to rehab more than 20 times desperate to find a way out of the destructive drinking cycle she was in, Alice was finally able to stop drinking after reading Annie Grace's This Naked Mind, doing several of Annie's alcohol programs and pursing the transformational effects of cold-water exposure and Wim Hoff's breathing techniques. It stuck. Alice then decided to support others struggling with alcohol and stress to access this method too. She founded Wild Wellness in Tasmania which offers a range of transformational retreats designed to help people escape, heal and reset in the magnificent wilderness of Tasmania via ocean plunges, practitioner-led fireside sessions, journaling and guided breathwork. Alice's story is inspirational and empowering. In exercise, as in life, many women are trying to force themselves into a world designed by and for men. But our bodies and needs are different. There’s a natural cycle to us and our energy. Today’s guest offers some great advice on how to recognize your natural rhythms and workout in accordance with them.   About Jenni Hulburt Jenni Hulburt is a fitness coach, essential oil specialist, host of the WILD Wellness podcast, and creator of The Workout Without Burnout Blueprint.  She has a Bachelor of Science and Masters degree in Exercise Science and Sport Psychology, and is also a Wellness Advocate with doTERRA, teaching people about essential oils for non-toxic living, natural health, and creating their own home apothecary with the power of plants. Everything she offers is to help women live and sweat in sync with nature. She believes you can reach your goals without sacrificing your well-being, as you seek to embody what nature has always modeled — it’s not a sprint, but a cycle.   Deconstructing Workout Myths First off, Jenni breaks down some common exercise myths that many women fall victim to. For instance, you don’t need to work out to the point of exhaustion every day. Instead, we should clue into the natural cycles of our lives so we know when it’s time to build and when it’s time to rest and recover. Also, although many of us exercise to manage stress, Jenni explains how it can have the opposite effect.   Finding Your Natural Rhythm Jenni believes that the key to sustainable exercise is to do it in sync with nature. This requires being in tune with your own cyclical rhythm, be that your menstrual cycle, the seasons, or the phases of the moon. There are times to rest, build, push yourself, and pull back to recover. Jenni describes how to clue into your needs and adapt your actions to them. Doing so will allow you to build strength for the long run without subjecting yourself to the negative effects of burnout. Since everyone is different, understanding your natural cycles will take some observation and introspection on your part. It’s important not to compare yourself to others. You may even feel different from one cycle to the next. But the more you learn to listen to what your body is telling you, the better you will get at finding your rhythm. How can your natural cycles inform your workout? What does fitness mean to you? Is it pushing your body to the limit in order to make gains, or is it pushing yourself to get off the couch to do anything at all? The truth is, neither of these options are the best for your overall health and well-being. And, there is a different way. In today's episode, I chat with fitness specialist Jenni Hulburt about how to tap into your own body's cycle in order to move in a way that feels best to you. We talk about how your body needs different movement depending on where you are in your menstrual cycle (and also, where you are in the cycle of the year, as well as your life). Jenni breaks down what types of movement are best during your follicular phase, and then what supports you best during your luteal phase, and finally, your period. We also discuss how to use your intuition when you’re not motivated or consistent with moving your body. This is a big one for many women who just aren't inclined to move their body because of previous harm from fitness or society's pressures, as well as those who have never felt called to do much movement. I love Jenni's spiritual and cyclical approach to movement, and I know you will too! Jenni Hulburt is a fitness specialist teaching movement that’s part cyclical, seasonal, sweaty, and spiritual. She has a Bachelor of Science and Masters degree in Exercise Physiology and Sport Psychology. As a student of nature, and wellness advocate with doTERRA, she works with plant allies in the form of essential oils to teach others about the gifts of the earth for our well-being and our connection to life.
