Hey, I'm Cam. I'm a plant-med nurse educator, a teacher here to be taught, and curator of things that I think might be helpful. The great recorded span of human history we have access to is estimated to be about 2% of our total time here. Whack! Regardless, this 2% pumped out a pretty epic lineup of remarkable people who did a bang up job of translating their human existence into some very useful philosophical frameworks. Thankfully, these ideas survived long enough within the perpetual chaos of time that now I, Cam, a boy on the internet with strange hyperfixations, can regurgitate them in a way that makes me feel good. For the people, of course. I cannot guarantee that this will be useful, and I can guarantee that I'll stutter. Neuroscience will feature consistently, if only to reconfirm my biases. Abject confusion may arise, certainly for me, and maybe for you, but existentialism is better with friends and if we grow we all grow together. My intention here is to help expand the capacity of our health, happiness and awareness. I sincerely hope this is helpful. - Cam
The This Might Be Helpful podcast is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon and it has become one of my favorite things to listen to. Cam, the host, is wise beyond his years and he shares a wealth of great knowledge and insights in each episode. I initially found his Instagram account and was drawn to the content he shared there, which led me to discover his podcast. It has been a source of hope and comfort for me during a difficult time in my life, reducing my anxiety and providing me with clarity.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is Cam's calming presence and soothing voice. His words have a way of putting you at ease and making you feel like you're having a conversation with a close friend. The episodes are well-articulated and thought-provoking, delving into deep existential questions and exploring topics such as setting intentions, curiosity, leverage, knowledge, and focus. Cam's monologue format allows him to freely express his thoughts and ideas, giving listeners a unique perspective on life.
Another great aspect of this podcast is its relevance to listeners' lives. Each episode seems to be released at the perfect time, coinciding with what they're going through in their own lives. This adds an element of personal connection and makes the content even more impactful. The episodes provide insight and guidance on navigating life's challenges, offering practical advice on how to approach difficult situations with clarity and resilience.
It's hard to find any negative aspects of this podcast because it truly offers valuable content that resonates with listeners. However, if there was one minor criticism, it would be that some episodes may feel repetitive or similar in theme. However, given the expansive nature of the topics discussed, this is understandable as certain concepts require multiple explorations for full comprehension.
In conclusion, The This Might Be Helpful podcast is a must-listen for anyone seeking wisdom, clarity, and inspiration in their lives. Cam's thoughtful insights and genuine desire to help others make this podcast a valuable resource. Whether you're going through a hard time or simply looking for guidance on life's big questions, this podcast offers a calming presence and a wealth of knowledge that will leave you feeling lighter and more hopeful. Give it a listen and prepare to be inspired.
This week in Creator Club, we laid down our armor and took one long, liberating exhale into revelation. This conversation wasn't about strategy. It was about re-learning how to trust the voice before it knows what it's going to say. The creative spirit doesn't need an audience, just enough stillness to be heard. Natural rhythms of expression are not something to control, but something to let flow. Like sunlight that never explains itself or a river that doesn't ask for permission to move.Together, we remember what it feels like to trust ourselves, to let the creative spirit flow unannounced like sunrise. This wasn't just a conversation. It was the deconstruction of belief structures that are intimately craving to be unraveled, questioned and reformed into a remerging self willing to set forth anew. And if that sounds like exactly the reminder you didn't know you needed... it was. This is just a snippet of the rest of this week's conversation continued in the community. The 3RD PATH isn't for performers. It's for Revealers. Revelationers.Get in here. The portal is open. The river is running. Let's see if you're brave enough to get wet. I'll see you in the 3RD PATH Community for the deep resonance and transformation. The other night, I found myself in a rare and quiet pocket of time. I was hosting a live session in the 3rd Path community space, and nobody arrived (except Naomi—hi Naomi! who had a broken microphone). What unfolded wasn't what I expected, but as I began speaking, the dialogue took on a life of its own. This episode is a collection of solitude's emergent truths, and a reminder to hold space for your self. There's a certain kind of magic that happens when you allow the moment to move through you unfiltered. Space itself is breathing—vast, listening, alive. In expressive solitude, a space held just for you, tangled thoughts are allowed to unravel into coherence, and those half-formed ideas waiting in the wings take flight in real-time. Speak into the void and you may discover that the void is a very good listener. You're already on the path. Come walk it with me! 3RD PATH Community. In this episode, Cam dives deep into the concept of staying present and the importance of not getting "ahead of yourself." He challenges listeners to question which "self" they are trying not to rush past: the self defined by past experiences, judgments, and limitations, or the true self that exists only in the present moment.Cam explores how the mind often clings to past patterns, judgments, and ideas of perfection, causing us to miss the richness of the present. He emphasises that being "ahead of yourself" is about breaking free from the constraints of past identities and stepping into the full potential of now.The episode is a call to embrace the present moment fully, where the true self resides — free from distortion, expectation, and past narratives. Cam offers practical guidance to deepen presence, such as noticing bodily sensations, relaxing tension, and letting go of the mind's need to categorise and understand everything based on past experiences. You are invited to move beyond the stories you've told yourself, both past and future, and to find your true freedom in the "now." In this episode, Cam explores the idea that blockages in life are not insurmountable obstacles but rather areas calling for greater responsibility. He discusses how our thoughts about blockages can create and reinforce these perceived barriers. By taking full responsibility for various aspects of our lives—whether it be financial health, creative expression, or emotional well-being—we can shift from a state of wishing for change to actively creating it.Cam emphasises the importance of seeing responsibility not as a burden but as an empowerment tool that bridges the gap between intention and manifestation. He explains that taking responsibility is a declaration of our power, aligning us with our higher selves and demonstrating our readiness to receive and create the experiences we desire. Throughout the episode, Cam encourages listeners to reflect on what they are willing to take responsibility for and how this shift can lead to a more fulfilled and purposeful life.Join the TMBH Community: https://community.tmbh.co/checkout/community-subscriptionOpen: Guided Meditation: https://o-p-e-n.com/Join the TMBH Newsletter: https://camrosin.io/Follow Cameron on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cameronrosin/Follow Cameron on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@cameronrosinSubscribe to Cameron's YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpHzeVzFita4bRZbQQP_Q6gFor more information visit https://camrosin.io/ Hosted on Acast.
