This week, we detail Netflix's plans to offer live, dynamic ad insertion (DAI) for NFL games on Christmas and why this is a significant development for the industry. We also debated their new ad viewing definition and the announcement that ads on Netflix now reach more than 190 million MAUs globally. We break down the latest developments on the YouTube TV and Disney Carriage Dispute and how both companies are being disingenuous with users. For Q3 earnings data, we highlight Fubo's improving balance sheet, with its net loss shrinking to $18.9 million, while also reducing churn by 50% compared to last year. We also detail how Disney will take over advertising sales across Fubo, with Fubo integrating its inventory into Disney's ecosystem and ad server. Additionally, Fubo announced plans to utilize Disney to grow internationally over the next 18 to 24 months. Finally, we dicuss how, in their latest earnings reports, Meta, Alphabet, Microsoft, and Amazon have announced plans to increase their AI spending in 2026 to a combined $ 400 billion, but with no details on what percentage of their AI spend is going toward internal projects, versus selling cloud AI services to other companies. Additionally, quick updates on earnings from Broadpeak, Harmonic, Qwilt's new CEO, as well as Bending Spoons' $710 million equity raise at a $11 billion pre-money valuation.Podcast produced by Security Halt Media

If you've ever experienced adversity, it can be tough to see the positive outcome. Sometimes, it's less of a beacon and more of a silver lining. In this episode, we go inside one of the city's nonprofits that focuses on the brighter side — big, small and everything in between.Harmonic Harvest launched on Giving Tuesday in November of 2023. Less than two years later, it celebrated the opening of its headquarters inside the Marshall Building and has extended its reach well beyond the bounds of the Historic Third Ward.“I knew I wanted to create a splash. I didn't realize it was going to be way bigger than just a splash,” Harmonic Harvest founder and CEO Jenna Washuleski said. “The whole concept of Harmonic Harvest is organizations and people that are helping create a brighter future. By weaving silver linings, by collaborating, co-creating and supporting one another, we can really create a stronger collective force.”Harmonic Harvest has donated thousands of dollars to artists, organizations and entrepreneurs, and has created connections by sharing silver linings. Its space in the Marshall Building reflects that, as Washuleski's team transformed it to include an entrepreneurial marketplace, artist cove, designer's workshop and much more. While Harmonic Harvest has grown relatively fast, its foundation was developed over a lifetime. In the full episode, you'll hear Washuleski talk about all the experiences — from childhood through today — that shaped the organization.*****Episode host: Kim ShineFor more episodes, go to: radiomilwaukee.org/ourstories.Uniquely Milwaukee is supported by our Radio Milwaukee members and sponsored by the Milwaukee Public Library.

On this week's episode, host Ted Asregadoo sits down with two of his biggest Billy Joel fan friends, Jeff Giles and Jason Hare, to discuss the recent HBO documentary, And So It Goes. Jeff is the founder of Popdose, host of The Record Player podcast, and creator of the new site Harmonic, while Jason is also a co-founder of Popdose and an avid triathlete. Ted, who was once a DJ imprisoned by the monotony of adult contemporary radio, has a complicated relationship with Joel's music. Forced to play the same nine hit songs on repeat for 13 years, he now has an aversion to tunes like "Piano Man" and "Just the Way You Are." The conversation about the documentary leads to a much deeper discussion of Joel's albums, particularly his 1982 masterpiece, The Nylon Curtain. Both Ted and Jeff agree that this melancholy and often sad album is Joel's creative peak—a personal and generational biography of being a Baby Boomer. In contrast, Jason shares a more foundational love for Joel's music, recalling how hearing "Scenes From an Italian Restaurant" as a kid was what inspired him to start taking piano lessons. Join the trio as they dissect the documentary, debate the brilliance of The Nylon Curtain, and explore Billy Joel's music. ______________________________________ This episode of Planet LP is sponsored by Steve Fox's Old School. “US GLOBAL CURRENTS “Swirling Kite Energy” Astrological Perspective. We will be exploring an enduring astrological sky pattern called the Kite, which will influence the coming months. Not only Mercury, but also Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto are moving in apparent retrograde relative to Mother Earth. Even newly anointed Uranus turns its gaze backward in early September. In the April 20th episode of US Global Currents, we focused on a proverbial teeter-totter energy of give and take. This was an in-between period, following the Aries Equinox energies and eclipses near our lunar nodal phase of North Node in Pisces and South Node in Virgo. Although Neptune had recently entered fiery Aries, three major planetary cycles—Saturn, Jupiter, and Uranus—were closing, making our experience feel like a tide ebbing and flowing. Now, four months later, this caravan of outer planets has shifted into apparent retrograde motion, re-entering their zodiac signs from their last cycle. We find ourselves deeply reflecting on many things, much like Mercury's Hermetic message that echoes “as above, so below,” This includes in reverse, and moving between inward direction to outward expression,” said Sue Minahan, founder, and host of the weekly show. “Whether in the USA or internationally, these times resonate with strong patterns between dynamic archetypal energies. Importantly, the slower planets form trines and sextiles with the personal planets, creating a powerful, soaring Kite pattern through September. August 2025 Energy Forecast: The Harmonic Month of Refinement – Choosing Resonance Over Residue Welcome to the August 2025 Energy Forecast. This is a month of crystalline precision—not upheaval, but refinement. What once asked to be purged has already left. Now, the focus becomes gentler, quieter, more intentional. This is not about clearing debris—it's about honoring the shape of what remains.Throughout August, you are invited into an advanced layer of vibrational discernment: choosing what resonates over what lingers. Choosing Soul truth over softened truths. Choosing to withhold what is sacred rather than overexpose your becoming. Choosing to move in alignment rather than urgency. This is the harmonic month of refinement—a calibration into clarity. We begin with Theme 1: The Frequency of Refusal, where integrity sharpens through what you no longer allow. Refusal isn't resistance—it is refinement. It is how you choose resonance over residue.Theme 2: Radiance Through Refinement reminds us that strength doesn't always roar. Sometimes, it hums. Power this month emerges through subtleties—through micro-calibrations, inner precision, and the quiet authority of coherence. With Theme 3: Soul Silence, movement may slow, but the signal becomes strong. In this space of sacred stillness, inner instruction amplifies. You are not stuck. You are receiving.Theme 4: Prismatic Core Alignment brings the full spectrum of your Soul online. The lightline becomes color. The tone becomes image. You begin to see and feel your unique Soul frequency, not just intuit it.Theme 5: The Edge of Expression is a moment of sacred risk. What has remained internal now presses outward—through voice, vision, vulnerability. The throat and solar plexus harmonize to let your Soul lead in form.Yet, Theme 6: The Sacred Act of Withholding teaches a parallel truth: Not all that is received must be shared. Energetic privacy becomes a power. Sometimes, the most aligned action is non-disclosure.Theme 7: Harmonic Extraction guides you in removing what no longer fits—not with force, but with gentle precision. This is frequency surgery: releasing without trauma, disruption, or backlash.Theme 8: Timeline Shedding arrives with love. It invites the graceful dissolution of Soul assignments that have reached completion. Not with guilt or fear—but with deep gratitude and readiness. We close the month with Theme 9: Embodied Reverberation—where the refinement becomes rhythm. There is no more input needed. You walk now as the tone you've chosen. Your field carries what you've become. This August is not about initiation. It is about reverberation. Not about force—but frequency. Not about urgency—but purity. You are not becoming new. You are refining what's true. You are not here to rush. You are here to resonate.—

Not potential. Not metaphor. Form.On July 10, 2025, under the crystalline lens of the Capricorn Full Moon, a planetary finalization occurred. The Wave of Becoming, which initiated the breakdown and deconstruction of outdated energetic scaffolding across 2024, has fully cleared at the planetary level. Its architecture has dissolved. It is no longer in active construction mode within Earth's harmonic field. As of July 3, 2025, the planetary Lightline was sealed. This Lightline sealing marked the anchoring of a new harmonic structure—one that allows the Spiral of Becoming to stabilize into actual dimensional form. Ted is joined by prolific music writer and co-host of The Record Player podcast, Jeff Giles (Popdose, Ultimate Classic Rock, Diffuser FM, Jefitoblog, and Harmonic.fm). The discussion centers on highly-regarded albums that, despite their critical acclaim or widespread popularity, have somehow been overlooked by these experienced listeners. Prepare for candid revelations as Ted and Jeff explore records that often elicit the incredulous response: "Wait, you've NEVER listened to that?!" The episode features a diverse selection of genres and eras. It begins with Gang of Four's Entertainment! (1979), examining its groundbreaking sound and lasting influence on popular music. Next, the focus shifts to Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow (1967). While acknowledging its iconic status and memorable tracks, the host shares a surprisingly critical perspective on this San Francisco classic. Finally, the conversation turns to Donna Summer's Bad Girls (1979). The episode explores its commercial success, Grammy recognition, and even an unexpected link to New Order, while posing the question of how such a significant album could have been a "miss" for a dedicated music aficionado. Tune in for an engaging and often surprising exploration of influential albums that, for some, remained undiscovered territory.

The first step in understanding the nature of our material world can be found in the ritualistic practices of indigenous people.  Native Americans would expose sand on a taught buckskin to rhythmic chants and drums, while the particles danced to a geometric still-point. Australian Aborigines produced similar effects with the didgeridoo, and Tibetan Buddhists did the same with their wind instrument known as the dungchen. Harmonic patterns (Cymatics) are the proving ground for what has eluded Western "Science" in its quest for answering the most basic of questions, "what makes the material universe tick"? The profundity underlying these simple & observable truths is that human consciousness produces resonant patterns with every thought, emotion & deed! We're excited to host Ana Maria Oliva on this special Alfacast to help us unpack what our distant ancestors knew regarding pattern recognition and the Natural Order from a contemporary context of 'Information - Energy - Matter'. “US GLOBAL CURRENTS Teeter-Totter Reality” An Astrological Perspective.“The point of balance on the teeter-totter involves give and take. At this moment in history, a caravan of outer planets begins shifting signs. We have never experienced such a concoction of changing energetic realms. Introduced with Pluto Aquarius ingress just six months ago in November followed by the north node shifting into Pisces mid-January. Modern outer planets, Uranus and Neptune, rule those signs. Both of which are part of this current caravan. Neptune entered the zodiac start at 0°Aries a day before the Solar eclipse. Traditional rulers Saturn and Jupiter for Aquarius and Pisces move into new signs next. Completing this ingress train, Uranus transits into Gemini early July. Astrology reflects the sky patterns as planets transit through zodiac degrees, changing angles to other planets. According to the Hermetic code life reflects that above so below and vice versa. In fact, the idea goes on to say that what we experience and feel within is reflected without or externally, and vice versa,” said Sue Minahan, founder, and host of the weekly show. “The times in the USA and abroad echo these dynamic archetypal transitions. The other night, I found myself in a rare and quiet pocket of time. I was hosting a live session in the 3rd Path community space, and nobody arrived (except Naomi—hi Naomi! who had a broken microphone). What unfolded wasn't what I expected, but as I began speaking, the dialogue took on a life of its own. This episode is a collection of solitude's emergent truths, and a reminder to hold space for your self. There's a certain kind of magic that happens when you allow the moment to move through you unfiltered. Space itself is breathing—vast, listening, alive. In expressive solitude, a space held just for you, tangled thoughts are allowed to unravel into coherence, and those half-formed ideas waiting in the wings take flight in real-time. Speak into the void and you may discover that the void is a very good listener. You're already on the path. Come walk it with me! 3RD PATH Community.
