BEST OF: What exactly is Project Bluebeam? Proposed by writer Serge Monast in a 1994 paper titled “NASA's Project Blue Beam: Fake Alien Invasion,” it would involve hoaxed archeological finds uncovered from manufactured earthquakes and holographic projections of religious figures all intended to bring about a One World Religion and One World Government. But the paper includes all the same contemporary conspiracy talking points, from a cashless society and mind control devices to global police-state control and concentration camps. It was also clearly inspired by science fiction like the Law of One. Now that the public has been given a sort of public approval to discus the UFO, rebranded UAP in 2017, and now that the government is openly considering an official “disclosure,” Bluebeam is being revived. No matter that officials are repeating talking points from known liars and UFO mythology, the general public is already convinced, or can be easily swayed, of the official implication rather than any actual evidence. This invisible threat would constitute precisely what Carol Rosin said of what Wernher von Braun told her repeatedly about the space-based weapons / alien card. However, as with Bluebeam, Rosin and Braun have been misrepresented. The only thing that matters now is public perception, something that can be easily nudged to create an alien invasion without the need for holograms, lasers, fake earthquakes, etc. In fact, Dr. Don Donderi, a retired McGill University professor, just threatened exactly that: "[Extraterrestrials] have the technology and power to overcome our technology and power."https://archive.org/stream/NASAProjectBluebeam_201903/NASA%20Project%20Bluebeam_djvu.txt*The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. Ever got gravy on your neck? Did it leave a tattoo? Of course it did, so you’ll understand the first batch of calls. We also deal with returning calls we never actually got, and move gravy around between KF Chickens like its our job. There’s tall ones, Wild One’s, and I think Tiff is probably a dude with a voice changer. Rosin gets water in his tires, and then I get Pepsi in mine. War … what is good for absolutely nothin…well in this war there's clear winners not BHO or Rosin the winners are the consumers because after this heady to heady battle settles ,all boats will rise we have the two headiest guests that whether they like it or not are on the top of their respected fields. In the Studio we have the original hash Snob himself the full melt Trichome lovin @bcbubbleman who is in town to teach a Hash class at our local solventless extraction equipment hero's location @lowtemp.industries industries this Sat and a post class gathering at the Reserve on Sun after this Sundays service on the #3 church related podcast and #1 hash focused show “Hashchurch”. Coming in hot on zoom we have the industry disrupter himself @douglasdracup if anything he's really got people talking , now we all know the golden rules such as quality in quality out but here's a great opportunity to let these heavyweights give us some insight into why they believe that the process they support is superior. Not expecting to change anyone's overall stance but as we know there is advantages and disadvantages to both. Sitting right in the middle we have the man behind the “RESERVE”Denver's newest and most premier private club @extractcellar who produces superior product in both forms and for sure has lots to say …. We will open the lines and see where that leads us. We will actually start the show with comedian @AaroncharlesFoster He is currently on tour with his show “MOSTLY JOKES” That was named “BEST SOLO SHOW” At the 2025 TUCSON FRINGE FESTIVAL. It is autobiographical comedy that one reviewer called: “DARK COMEDY WITH A HUGE HEART, HIS UNIQUELY HILARIOUS TAKE ON DARK TOPICS LIKE HIS OWN MENTAL HEALTH (OR LACK THEREOF) HAS GIVEN HIM A UNIQUE VOICE IN THE COMEDY WORLD” He will be performing 5/15 @ComicCents Boulder's Only Comedy Club. Isaac Trapkus is a bassist with the New York Philharmonic, rosin maker, and developer of Monkey Wrench DB—a tool that syncs sheet music PDFs with YouTube performances. He's also the creator of a free urtext-style edition of the Koussevitzky Double Bass Concerto, based on a previously unknown personal score copy he discovered at the Library of Congress. We cover a wide range of topics: Isaac's years-long journey developing his handcrafted rosin (Winter), the unique acoustic challenges of the double bass that make rosin so stubbornly hard to get right, and his Library of Congress discovery of Koussevitzky's clean personal score—complete with hidden measures taped over by the composer himself. We also dig into AI's expanding role in Isaac's tech projects, the ethics of open-source music tools, and the tension between building things because you can versus building things that actually matter. In this episode of Double Tap, Steven Scott and Shaun Preece dive into the world of accessible space exploration. They discuss Jakob Rosin's innovative approach to tracking NASA's Artemis II mission for blind and low-vision users. Using AI and vibe coding, Rosin built a real-time dashboard that converts complex visual mission data—speed, distance, orbital position—into a fully accessible experience, complete with an audio radar that lets listeners “hear” the spacecraft's journey from Earth to the Moon. The conversation explores how small, community-driven solutions like Rosen's can fill accessibility gaps left by major tech companies. The hosts also discuss the rise of vibe coding, AI-driven development, Apple App Store submission surges, and the ongoing struggle to hold tech companies accountable for accessibility. The topic du jour around The Rosin Box this week is the driving force behind ballet: music. For this conversation, hosts Claire Kretzschmar and Soloist Aarón Sanz are joined by Corps de Ballet Member Maya Milić and Soloist Sebastián Villarini-Vélez, two company members whose connections to music extend far beyond the studio and stage. Maya is a classically trained pianist who graduated with honors from the Manhattan School of Music's Precollege Division, which she attended while also a student at the School of American Ballet; Sebastián was raised in a musical household—his father was a percussionist with an expansive collection of tapes, and Sebastián played the guitar throughout childhood. These formative early exposures to music have influenced their dancing in countless ways: "Developing a taste is the most important thing you can do as an artist," says Sebastián. "That will allow you to shape your approach towards what you're doing. Distinguishing what works for you musically will allow you to find sort of a unique voice to approach the steps." This week around The Rosin Box, Hosts Claire Kretzschmar and Soloist Aarón Sanz are talking all things adult ballet with Sloane Bratter, NYCB's Associate Director, Public Programs, and Soloist Ashley Hod. The company's Education department has been hosting adult movement workshops since 2014, taught by current and former dancers—an opportunity Claire calls "a real life-giving experience." Structured similarly to a standard company class, the workshops usually consist of a ballet barre and center, followed by learning a few phrases from NYCB's repertory and a holding a brief Q&A. For Ashley, leading these workshops has become a true highlight of each season: "It's not just what I'm giving to these dancers—it's what I'm getting in return. On this episode of Higher Exchanges, we're joined by Micah Anderson, CEO of LEEF Brands, to break down the company's fourth quarter and full year 2025 results and what they signal about the next phase of growth. We cover LEEF's evolution, including the addition of Salisbury Canyon Ranch, and how vertical integration is driving margin expansion, improved consistency, and stronger cash flow. Q4 marked a clear inflection point, with revenue up nearly 40% year-over-year, gross margins reaching 45.5%, and the business generating positive operating and free cash flow.We also unpack the transition from H1 to H2, where margins expanded significantly as LEEF shifted toward internally sourced biomass, and discuss what it means to build a large-scale cultivation asset inside a public company. Finally, we look ahead to what's next, including expansion plans at Salisbury Canyon Ranch, the recent Mindset Capital investment, and the growing optionality across CBD, interstate commerce, exports, and M&A, along with listener questions on market share and unit economics.Higher Exchanges is powered by Flowhub.
We're back around The Rosin Box, with Soloist Aarón Sanz pulling double hosting duty this episode. He's joined by Principal Dancer Chun Wai Chan for a conversation on the singular experience of joining an American ballet company as an international dancer. Chan, who is originally from China, and Sanz, who came to America by way of Spain, discuss navigating homesickness, the things that surprised them most about NYCB, and how, sometimes, "knowing a little less allows you to be more comfortable—which is often what you need." This isn't just another grow tour.We stepped onto a 100-year-old family farm in Michigan, built on an ancient glacial riverbed, where generations of soil, water, and intention have shaped one of the most unique cultivation sites we've ever visited.Everything grown here is purpose-built for rosin. No shortcuts. No mass production. Just sungrown plants, living soil, and genetics that have been carefully collected, preserved, and refined over decades. In this episode of First Smoke of the Day, we walk the fields just weeks before harvest, from massive papaya rows and legendary Z genetics to in-house pheno hunts and a sacred garden once used to feed a family generations ago. Today, that same ground produces some of the most sought-after strains in the world. You'll hear the full story behind the land, why this specific terroir matters, how water, soil, and placement affect flavor expression, and why this farm has committed 100% to a fresh-frozen rosin process from day one. This is about legacy, cultivation, flavor, and respect for the plant and what's possible when tradition and modern genetics work together. The Ash Said It Show gets an exclusive featuring Matt Janz, a key leader at Deep Roots Harvest. This conversation offers a high-level, strategic deep dive into how to build a dominant, trusted, and compliant Cannabis Brand in a hyper-regulated environment. Matt Janz provides an unparalleled look at how Deep Roots Harvest translates its 'Farm to Body' commitment—the transparency of seed-to-sale vertical integration—into compelling Marketing Content that effectively bypasses competitors focused solely on price. The conversation reveals top creative strategies used to navigate Nevada's notoriously strict cannabis advertising regulations (including the rigid 71.6% minimum adult audience rule) to deliver high-impact marketing and build genuine community. Janz further dissects the dynamics of the segmented market, detailing how they leverage sales data and consumer behavior insights (e.g., the success of Helix Twist Edibles) to prioritize marketing spend across their diverse product categories. The discussion also addresses the critical task of ensuring their Digital Marketing Journey seamlessly aligns with the Physical Dispensary Experience across their six Nevada locations to drive tangible foot traffic conversion. Finally, Janz tackles the critical challenge of maintaining the brand's unique 'Nevada roots' and local focus during the transition following their acquisition by a large Multi-State Operator (MSO), offering a blueprint for avoiding brand dilution during expansion into new regional markets. Web: https://www.deeprootsharvest.c... About the brand: Deep Roots Harvest is a leading vertically integrated cannabis operation headquartered in Nevada. Our mission is built on the "Farm to Body" philosophy, ensuring unmatched quality control and transparency throughout every stage, from cultivation to the final product. With six strategically located Nevada dispensaries, Deep Roots is dedicated to setting the industry standard for compliance, consumer trust, and exceptional in-store experience. Juicy citrus meets pepper snap. Orange Block Berry hits fast, bright, and happy, with a blood-orange flavor that sticks around while your cheeks and forehead warm up like sunrise. It's solventless, clean, and way tastier than it has any right to be.Form, look, smellLive rosin batter processed with ice water, glossy light-gold batter with a soft, micro-whipped texture that scoops clean. Nose opens with sweet orange zest and berry candy, backed by black-pepper spice. On inhale you get blood-orange and Earl Grey vibes, on exhale a peppery tickle that can spark a cough. TerpenesLimonene, the citrus driver, mood lift, bright focus. Beta-caryophyllene, peppery grounding, body ease. Myrcene, smooths edges and settles the body. Minimal cottonmouth, moderate pepper-spice cough from the caryophyllene. Function, great daytime concentrate for focus, light pain relief, and creative flow, with mild munchies potential. The Rosin Box heats up this week with a lively conversation shared by hosts Claire Kretzschmar and Soloist Aarón Sanz and their guests, Principal Dancers Gilbert Bolden III and Sara Mearns. They talk about acting and emotions onstage, including their favorite roles, techniques and practices, and hilarious memories. Whether conveying the characters in a narrative ballet or achieving the appropriate expressiveness in an abstract work, the dancers describe the need for extensive preparation—and life experience—to achieve an instinctual, organic performance. As Sara relates, the "half a second" when she crosses the barrier from backstage and into the lights is the moment when the character or emotion manifests. Listen in on another intimate conversation around The Rosin Box with host Claire Kretzschmar, joined this week by Principal Dancer Taylor Stanley. The topic is all things props, which provide essential context and character development for many of the company's story ballets and "teach you how to remain calm in the moment," as Taylor shares. From training with a professional swordsman in preparation for Romeo and Juliet, to maneuvering the candle in La Sonnambula's haunted pas de deux, Taylor describes many of the playful, challenging, and transformative props used by dancers every season. Hosts Claire Kretzschmar and Soloist Aarón Sanz are back for another cozy conversation around The Rosin Box. This week, they're joined by Soloist Alexa Maxwell and Principal Dancer Gilbert Bolden III, who have plenty to share about inspiration and motivation, whether for their daily practice, during repetitive performance periods, amidst injuries and other challenges, and beyond. Alexa shares that it's all about the music—she's a "classical music girly"—and that she likes to bunhead out as she's learning a new role; for Gilbert, new audience members, quiet instances of beauty in his everyday life, and cherished passages in well-known ballets can help sustain his art. As all four dancers agree, "If you're open to it, you can be inspired all the time."

A direct taste of GDP straight from the source, and it changed everything. From those early Northern California roots, Marc built a legacy driven by flavor, precision, and integrity. He sharpened his skills in the pre-rec era, eventually launching Kalya Extracts — a brand synonymous with clean, full-flavor rosin and repeat wins at the Emerald Cup. Whether it's strain selection, post-process handling, or packaging innovation, Kalya continues to lead with intention and results. Marc's story is one of consistency, connection, and staying true to the plant through decades of evolution.

In this jam-packed session, we're joined by two incredible guests — Scotty, the visionary behind Cannabee Extracts, and the one and only Detroit rapper, Hatch WiseGuy. This episode is all about authenticity, passion, and staying true to your roots. From Hatch's early days crawling to the coffee table to dance as a baby, to Scotty's dedication to clean extracts that win competitions, these two represent the soul of cannabis and music culture. Hatch shares his journey from local Detroit battles to gracing the stage at BET's 106 & Park, and how music pulled him back time after time. He opens up about his influences (Nas, Eminem, Jay-Z, Jadakiss, and more), the struggle of staying authentic, and the excitement behind his upcoming album, Dirt and Diamonds, dropping later this year. Plus — he drops an exclusive: his single "Yikes" featuring 38 Spesh lands on July 29th!Scotty gives us an inside look at Cannabee Extracts' ethos — quality over everything, real terps only, and a refusal to cut corners no matter the pressure. to entering new categories at Best in Grass, Scotty's passion for the plant shines through every product.Together, they talk about their shared love for grassroots festivals like Booty Bash, the importance of showing up in person, and why community matters more than big money moves. We also dive into the struggles of running a cannabis business, the wild world of infused joints (and why glass tips change everything), and the shady reality of fake terpenes in the market. It's an open, funny, and inspiring conversation that showcases the heart and hustle behind the people shaping Michigan's cannabis scene. Oh, and did we mention? They spark up a glass-tipped infused joint at the end — pure vibes.

Hosts Claire and Aarón are back at the Rosin Box, joined this week by Principal Dancers Tiler Peck and Roman Mejia to talk about the relationship between choreographer and dancer in the creation of new works—especially in the case of Tiler's Concerto for Two Pianos from 2024, which featured Roman. Tiler highlights the necessary balance between celebrating individual dancers' strengths with making a timeless work, while Roman describes feeling deeply invested in the success of her ballet's premiere. In this candid and compelling episode of MiCannaCast, hosts CannaDave and Groovee sit down with Connor, founder & CEO of Rosslyn, to talk about everything from founding a cannabis delivery startup in D.C. to surviving a DEA raid — and eventually building one of Michigan's most buzzworthy hash brands. We talk raids, redemption, rosin tech, and building brand equity in a crowded market — and why the future of cannabis is about storytelling, transparency, and terpene-rich experiences.
The Rosin Box is back with hosts Claire Kretzschmar and Soloist Aarón Sanz delivering insiders' insights into the lives and times of today's NYCB dancers. This week they're joined by Principal Dancer Megan Fairchild, who will be retiring next spring, and Corps de Ballet Member Dominika Afanasenkov, who joined the company just over two years ago. I met Jonathan at the Wintergrass Music Festival some years ago where he was exhibiting some of his instruments. Mark O'Connor was performing at the festival and was playing one of Jonathan's violins. Mark loved the violin and he made sure I interviewed Jonathan for the Rosin the Bow project. Here is that interview.

The chat around the Rosin Box this week is all about dance in pop culture, with hosts Claire Kretzschmar and Soloist Aarón Sanz joined by Corps de Ballet Members Naomi Corti and Grace Scheffel. From Center Stage and web series like city.ballet and Strictly Ballet—featuring, among others, NYCB's own Mimi Staker and Alec Knight—to memoirs by legends like Margot Fonteyn, the dancers share the media that inspired their earliest interest in the art form, as well as all the pop moments they've enjoyed (and critiqued) since joining the company, like the "ballet core" fashion trend and the thing the movies most often get wrong (hint: it's all about the bun). We're back at the Rosin Box for another candid conversation with hosts Claire Kretzschmar and Soloist Aarón Sanz. This week, they're joined by Corps de Ballet Member and budding choreographer Laine Habony to talk about NYCB's First Steps program. This singular initiative gives current company dancers the opportunity to create new works on their peers, providing a professional cast and environment for first-time or early-career dancemakers. As Laine shares, this eye-opening experience provided both an education in what it takes to move to the front of the room and the validation that accompanies seeing the steps she'd envisioned come to life. This interview is only available on video. There are no audio links to download. In this powerful two-hour interview, aerospace consultant Dr. Carol Rosin reveals a groundbreaking treaty she developed with her colleagues, including astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, designed to keep space free from weaponization. Dr. Rosin reflects on her journey, detailing how she came to work with Dr. Werner von Braun in the 1970s, and shares the chilling "deathbed confession" von Braun entrusted her with. He warned that the U.S. would use escalating global threats to justify space-based weapons, with the final card being an alien invasion. Von Braun also predicted that the alien threat wouldn't materialize until the public stopped believing in Earthbound warsa point Dr. Rosin believes we are now witnessing. Despite enduring threats, blackmail, theft, and physical attacks alongside her husband, Dr. Rosin bravely decided to step forward and advocate for the Outer Space Security and Development Treaty of 2011. As she boldly asks: Would we rather have weapons above our heads, or transform the war industry into a peaceful World Cooperative Space Industry?
Claire and Aarón are joined at The Rosin Box this week by Sandra Jennings, a former NYCB dancer who is now a repetiteur for the George Balanchine Trust, for a conversation about staging ballets on current performers. As Sandra shares, she travels the world to coach companies of various ballet backgrounds in Mr. B's works, acting as a bridge between the choreographer's vision and the artists of today; as she explains, these ballets are "living, breathing works of art" that are brought to life by the individual dancers.
