Happy Festive Friday! ABOUT MUSIC CITY MISTLETOE In Nashville, a spirited songwriter and a widowed consultant clash over the fate of a music publishing office. As Christmas nears, rivalry turns to romance in this conflict-filled holiday tale where saving dreams means risking hearts. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR MUSIC CITY MISTLETOE November 25, 2025 | Streaming CAST & CREW OF MUSIC CITY MISTLETOE Sarah Pribis as Chloe Barlow Brooks Ryan as Devin James BRAN'S MUSIC CITY MISTLETOE SYNOPSIS The movie kicks off with some country Christmas music playing on a Nashville radio station. The town is buzzing because James Robert Webb is getting ready to record a new album, and every songwriter in Nashville is chomping at the bit. Chloe Barlow is an up-and-coming songwriter, and she's pumped that James Robert Webb has picked her song to be his first single. This is her big break! Except... bad news. They've changed producers, and not only is her song no longer the first single, but it's not even going to be on the album anymore. She's devastated. To take her mind off things, she heads to a children's hospital to sing Christmas songs for some of the patients. There she meets a young girl named Amberlee, who immediately takes a liking to Chloe and her music. Her dad, Devin, on the other hand? He thinks songs are dumb. But when he sees how much Chloe's music means to Amberlee, he softens and tells her he hopes she'll come back and sing again sometime. Meanwhile, the music publishing company Chloe works for is struggling and turns to Devin's company for help. When Devin and his team look at the numbers, it seems like the obvious move is to shut the company down. But Devin takes a liking to Chloe and fights to find a way to turn things around instead. As they spend more time together, Chloe grows closer to Amberlee, helping her write a song, teaching her how to pray away stage fright, and encouraging her to perform at the Christmas talent show. Devin eventually invites Chloe to participate in a songwriting session with his team as a team-building exercise. To everyone's surprise, they love it. They're like, "Wait... this is awesome. Maybe this could actually be your thing." Then, at a Christmas party, the big singer himself drops a bombshell: "I recorded your song after all." Chloe is on cloud nine. And with all that excitement in the air, she and Devin finally share a kiss. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show?

It was a typical Thursday afternoon in North Port, Florida. Twenty-one-year-old Denise Amber Lee stood on her front porch, unaware that a predator was watching from a passing car, hunting for a victim. While witnesses called for help, a tragic breakdown in communication between three dispatchers meant that life-saving information never reached the officers on the ground. Today, Denise's husband, Nathan Lee, discusses the Denise Amber Lee Foundation. Their mission is to overhaul 9-1-1 training and technology nationwide, ensuring that no other family has to endure the preventable tragedy his family faced that day. Learn more about your ad choices. Your inner voice can either talk you into your greatness or talk you out of it. That little voice shows up when you're about to take a risk, ask for something you want, or step into a room where you're not sure you belong. Most people either ignore it completely or let it run the show. Neither works. The real question is whether you know how to catch it, redirect it, and make it work for you instead of against you.Amber Lee Forrester built Quartz Wellness Collective on the idea that your inner voice shapes everything about your brand. She works with executives and incarcerated youth, bringing positive psychology and strengths-based coaching into spaces that need psychological safety and honest reflection. Her approach is direct: if you can identify the thought patterns that derail you, you can redirect them toward what you actually want.In this episode, Paula T. Edgar and Amber dig into imposter syndrome, why it shows up even for high-performers, and what to do when that voice tries to take over. Amber breaks down her framework for catching thoughts before they derail you, why reflection matters more than just pushing through, and how to lean on your strengths when your weaknesses try to speak louder. They also talk about why community and psychological safety matter for doing your best work, and what it actually looks like to build a brand that feels like you on purpose. If that voice has ever made you second-guess yourself or shrink back from something you wanted, this conversation gives you tools to shift it.1:33 – Amber's personal brand definition, three ways she describes herself, a Friedrich Nietzsche she often uses, and her Beyoncé hype song 4:27 – The childhood contrast that explains Amber's comfort in very different rooms5:37 – Amber's post-private school pivot from her original plan to her purpose11:25 – Amber's definition of imposter syndrome and an example of how it showed up for her 16:10 – How imposter syndrome affects your brand and the way you show up as a leader19:54 – How positive psychology helps you challenge narratives that undermine your confidence and branding22:40 – The framework Amber uses to move people from self-doubt to self-belief28:14 – Misconception about imposter syndrome, the importance of reflection, and how your answer to a simple question impacts your brand32:27 – Amber's high priority around creating safe community spaces, paving the way for brave spaces36:56 – Strengths-based anchor that helps you stay steady when your mind tries to hold you back42:46 – What Amber does for fun (and how even that ties back into her brand) Mentioned In Rewrite Your Story, Rewire Your Personal Brand with Amber Lee ForresterAmber Lee Forrester Quartz Wellness CollectivePOISED to Prosper Mentorship ProgramMy Engage Your Hustle™ Conference Playbook gives you the strategies to prepare, stand out, and follow up with impact. Send us a textWhat happens when a tiny heart warrior inspires a movement of love and advocacy? In this powerful conversation, I sit down with Haley Graham, whose daughter Emberly Dawn was born with multiple heart defects, including a rare Taussig-Bing anomaly. Haley takes us through the emotional journey from that first concerning ultrasound to the founding of Embers of Love, a nonprofit that's changing lives across Manitoba.Haley shares the raw truth of those early days—the quiet car ride home after receiving concerning news at her 41-week ultrasound, being flown from Winnipeg to Edmonton for emergency treatment just days after Emberly's birth, and the month spent in a hotel across from the children's hospital. Her story captures both the inherent isolation of receiving a CHD diagnosis and the profound community support that emerged to sustain them. The name "Embers of Love" came from a touching observation made during Emberly's hospital stay—that this tiny baby somehow "spreads embers of love to everyone she meets." What began with handmade keychains and candles has blossomed into a significant advocacy organization that's participated in over 35 initiatives since 2023. From donating sound machines to the NICU to organizing craft kits for Heart Camp campers, Haley shows how personal experience can transform into meaningful community action. Most moving is Haley's reflection on how Amberlee has become "the flame to our family fire," completely shifting their perspective on what matters in life. Her story reminds us that even in our most vulnerable moments, we can find purpose, create lasting change, and spread those precious embers of love to others walking similar paths.Ready to get involved in supporting the CHD community? This conversation examines the shadow aspects of the ayahuasca movement as our guest reveals disturbing patterns within ceremonial spaces, from sexual predation to spiritual bypassing and psychological manipulation. The discussion gets intense as we explore the commodification of indigenous medicine, the lack of proper integration support, and whether the plant medicine boom is creating more harm than healing. From vulnerable participants being exploited by unqualified facilitators to the Western appropriation of sacred traditions, this unflinching examination challenges the narrative that plant medicines are automatically beneficial or transformative. Through personal stories of demonic possession in 100-person ceremonies, predatory shamans, and nervous system burnout from excessive use, we confront the uncomfortable reality that the embrace of psychedelics by modern ‘spiritual communities' may be masking deeper issues of addiction, escapism, and spiritual materialism rather than fostering genuine healing and integration.https://amberleesky.com/ https://www.instagram.com/amberlee.sky/Subscribe to Here for the Truth Fridays.Take the Real AF Test Now!Discover Your Truth Seeker Archetype.Join our membership Friends of the Truth.Watch all our episodes.Connect with us on Telegram.Access all our links.Hosted by Joel Rafidi & YerasimosIntro and outro music: Illusion by Joel Rafidi
In 2008, 21-year-old Denise Amber Lee was abducted from her home in North Port, Florida, and murdered. This case was widely reported on and became well known because of the circumstances surrounding her death. Despite multiple 911 calls, some operators failed to report their findings to law enforcement during the active kidnapping. This ultimately led to Denise not being found in time, when she was right under the nose of police officers stationed around the area. Denise herself even called 911 and tried to get help, but tragically, nothing worked to save her. This film was done so beautifully for such a hard subject matter to discuss. Play Date was a film that I am glad I got to watch for HollyShorts, but so glad I was able to interview Amberlee Colson and Laura Campbell to dive deeper into the film. According to their website (playdate-film.com), the short film is about two estranged mothers reunite to make sense of their daughter's last play date. I hope that you can check it out sometime and I hope this film reaches so many people. “Play Date is an attempt to comprehend not only the depth of loss incurred by the parents of school shooting victims, but also the mental contortions the rest of us have to perform in order to keep living in a world where a day at school or a night at the movies can mean the end of the world as we know it.” - Gavin Broady Writer's Statement Sazerac Dream Cocktail: Ingredients Absinthe, to rinse 1 sugar cube 1/2 teaspoon cold water 4 dashes Peychaud's bitters 2 1/2 ounces rye whiskey Garnish: lemon peel Directions Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe, discarding any excess, and set aside. Strain into the prepared glass. Twist the lemon peel over the drink's surface to express the peel's oils, then garnish with the peel. Tetris Cocktail (adultbar.com.au): Ingredients 30ml of Curaçao Red Senior Co 30ml of Curaçao Green Senior Co 30ml of Curaçao Blue Senior Co 150ml of Lemon Soda Directions (served room temperature) Add water into glass. Allow them to crisp up, but not fully brown, and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each un-buttered side of toast. Allow cheese to melt slightly and flip sandwiches together to make 3 separate grilled cheese sandwiches. Continue to flip the sandwiches until they form a nice golden crust. Slice each sandwich in quarters and stuff into a mason jar. Fill the mason jar entirely with vodka. Allow grilled cheese and vodka to infuse overnight. Fill an ice cube tray with tomato juice and stick into the the freezer overnight. Strain out the vodka by placing 2 coffee filters into a strainer. Pour the vodka through carefully, assuring the filters are straining out any lipids. You can also fish out the sandwiches and squeeze the liquid soaked up by the bread. Set vodka aside. On a griddle, crisp up the prosciutto and break into small bits and place on a small plate. On another plate, pour a layer of balsamic glaze. Rim your glass first with the balsamic glaze and then with the prosciutto bits. Set aside. In a shaker, muddle the basil and cherry tomatoes. Pour in 4 oz of the vodka and ice and shake vigorously. Strain and pour the drink into the glass over a single tomato ice cube. Top with two mini grilled cheeses on a skewer and serve.
