In this smart, sensitive, and faithful adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's masterwork, the ill-fated relationships between a mysterious big spender; a young, married socialite; and their bevy of privileged friends are given center stage. Host Jo Reed and AudioFile's Robin Whitten discuss this audio theater adaptation of the classic, with the action driven by the characters talking to one another. And what talk it is. Rufus Sewell finds the tender bravado of Jay Gatsby, who is seeking to win back Daisy Buchanan, played with aching sublimity by Sarah Drew. Nate Corddry, playing Jazz Age narrator and sidekick Nick Carraway, deftly delivers some of Fitzgerald's most celebrated passages of heightened prose. Vaughan (EP/Creator), Cliff Chiang (EP/Creator), Camryn Jones, Sofia Rosinsky, Riley Lai Nelet, Fina Strazza, Chris Rogers (Showrunner), Adina Porter and Nate Corddry. Jon lets a vampire into his house and is UNPREPARED as Conservative Supervillain Ann Coulter slithers by to hock her product. But besides a goofy fun Colbert segment about sharks and a WTF Masterclass with a Hillbilly Ed Helms – there is NOT much to say in the deep summer days of 2002: and without Corddry and Lauren Weedman popping up, there’s not a TON to recommend either. However, hope is around the bend! The Daily Show Weekly is produced by Vic Shuttee, with album artwork designed by Felipe Flores Comics! #BoredToSubmission

In this weeks episode of Ballers, entitled, "Everything Is Everything", we get to see another side of Ricky. In our opinion, it looks like the person he is most of afraid of becoming, is exactly who he is. Charles lives the single life for twenty four hours, but quickly realizes he is not about that life. Spencer finally gets his MRI. Joe negotiates Vernon's blackmail settlement down, and Reggie blames Spencer for the blackmail happening in the first place. Although we liked this episode the least out of the season so far, it was still entertaining. Make sure you subscribe to our podcast on iTunes, leave us a rating and review. If you want to get involved in the conversation, be sure to send us an email to ballers@theverdictsin.com Thank you for listening!

They are picking up where they left off, Nate was part of the successful CBS series Mom, but has now focused his time on his great new podcast Nate Corddry Presents: Reading Aloud, on the WolfPop Network. Nate shares some great stories of his time working with Bill Murray on St. Vincent, and how that the old adage "Never Meet Your Idols" can ring true. Nate also tells us what it was like to sit at a table and hurl insults at Sandra Bullock for The Heat, and unleashing his Bostonian accent after years of trying to keep it at a minimum. Of course, Steve and Nate get into some sports talk, as Nate was at the Superbowl this year, with Jstebz's first crush, Joe McIntyre from The New Kids on The Block and they even touch on the now historic Boston Bruins vs. Vancouver Canucks Stanley Cup Final that left our poor city in shambles. We love having Nate on the show, and hope he'll keep coming back! Nate's new podcast Reading Aloud was years in the making, and it is so fun to listen to. Check it out on Wolfpop.com

We talk about everything from slating on “Buffy The Vampire Slayer" to directing for Funny Or Die to being complimented by Robin Williams for a very particular performance.
