Danielson interrupted an in-ring promo by The Elite during last night's Dynamite...and challenged Omega to a fight. That led to a wild brawl involving a bunch of other wrestlers. Speaking of The Elite, Adam Cole will make his AEW in-ring debut on next Wednesday's Dynamite against Frankie Kazarian. Cody Rhodes return date is set. He'll have a match at the Dynamite: Grand Slam show at Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 22nd...against Malakai Black. Black beat Dustin Rhodes on last night's Dynamite. Also announced for the Dynamite: Grand Slam show: MJF vs. Brian Pillman, Jr. Those two got into a brawl on last night's Dynamite after Pillman stormed out to put an end to MJF's insults of Pillman's family and his hometown of Cincinnati. Wardlow was on hand to back up MJF, but there's definitely growing tension between those two. Another hometown hero in Cincinnati, Jon Moxley, pinned a bloodied Minoru Suzuki with the Paradigm Shift in last night's main event. An in-ring promo with CM Punk last night led to confrontation with Team Taz...and Punk said he's willing to take on anyone from that group. A member of Team Taz was in action last night. Powerhouse Hobbs beat Dante Martin. Ruby Soho's Dynamite debut was a win over Jamie Hayter. After the match, Dr. Britt Baker, Rebel and Hayter tried to beat up on Soho...until Riho and Kris Statlander ran out to the rescue. Those six women are now set for a big tag match on Friday night's Rampage. Dark Order's internal problems caused their members to lose a match last night. The Pinnacle's Shawn Spears & FTR beat Evil Uno, Stu Grayson and John Silver. Silver took the pin after he was overwhelmed by a 3-on-1 disadvantage. Uno was upset with Silver after the match. (STINGER: WWE) WWE announced Wednesday that Triple H - Paul Levesque - underwent a successful medical procedure following a “cardiac event” caused by a genetic heart issue. WWE said the 52-year-old expected to make a full recovery. WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kushida revealed on Instagram that his recent absence from NXT was the result of him testing positive for COVID-19. Today's NXT UK has another match from the Heritage Cup #1 Contender tournament: Wolfgang vs. Sam Gradwell. Today's episode will also include a “special replay” of last month's NXT UK Title match between WALTER and Ilja Dragunov from TakeOver 36. ABC confirmed The Miz will be part of the cast for the new season of Dancing With The Stars. That show airs on Monday nights starting September 20th. (STINGER: Impact) Tonight's Impact Wrestling has Rich Swann vs. Karl Anderson in a Bunkhouse Brawl. Plus, Moose vs. Eddie Edwards... Chris Bey vs. David Finlay… Maclin vs. Petey Williams… And Rosemary vs. Tasha Steelz. The annual PWI 500 was released on Wednesday. As a result, the Women's Casino Battle Royale is now on the main show...and a new match was announced for the Buy In pre-show: Jurassic Express & Best Friends vs. the Hardy Family Office. Orange Cassidy beat Jack Evans on last night's Dynamite. Some new entrants for the Women's Casino Battle Royale were announced last night: Jamie Hayter, Rebel, LEGIT Leyla Hirsch, Abadon, KiLynn King...and Anna Jay, who returned to AEW TV to rescue Tay Conti from a post-match attack by The Bunny & Penelope Ford. Conti had beaten Ford. Also last night, a shocking betrayal by Billy Gunn. He struck down Paul Wight with a steel chair shot to his surgically replaced hip. That allowed QT Marshall to lay out Wight with a Diamond Cutter. The Young Bucks & Good Brothers beat the Lucha Brothers & Jurassic Express in last night's main event. The Bucks pinned Rey Fenix with the Meltzer Driver. After the match, Kenny Omega joined The Elite for a huge post-match beatdown on the Lucha Brothers and Christian Cage. That included The Elite hijacking the steel cage hanging above the ring to prevent anyone from coming to the rescue. Santana & Ortiz beat FTR. AND Powerhouse Hobbs pinned Brian Cage after Ricky Starks hit Cage with the FTW Championship. An in-ring promo by CM Punk was interrupted by Daniel Garcia and 2.0. Darby Allin and Sting quickly appeared...and they helped Punk clear the ring. AEW Women's Champion Dr. Britt Baker announced she's signed a new long-term contract with AEW. Anyone attending the Dynamite: Grand Slam show at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York later this month...will need proof they've received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. That's in line with protocols put in place in New York City last month. (STINGER: Impact) Tonight's Impact Wrestling has Ace Austin vs. Tommy Dreamer. If Dreamer wins, he gets inserted into Austin's title match against Impact World Champion Christian Cage at Victory Road. X-Division Champ Josh Alexander has issued an open challenge for tonight, offering a title match to any former X-Division Champion. Bestia Del Ring will take Rush's place on the challenging team, alongside Dragon Lee and Kenny King Will Ospreay is off of Revolution Pro's shows this weekend...after he tested positive for COVID-19. Ospreay said he was fully vaccinated...his symptoms are mild...and he'll be fine. Stardom announced its matches on New Japan's Wrestle Grand Slam cards this weekend.
