(STINGER: WWE) FIVE matches are already announced for tonight's RAW. United States Champion Damien Priest has a non-title match against Dolph Ziggler. One-half of the WWE Women's Tag Champs Queen Zelina is set to face Rhea Ripley. Plus, Finn Balor vs. Austin Theory… Rey & Dominik Mysterio vs. AJ Styles & Omos… And for the third straight week…Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop. Drew McIntyre will face Madcap Moss at the Day 1 pay-per-view. McIntyre reclaimed his sword on last Friday's SmackDown. It was stolen by Moss and Happy Corbin two weeks ago…along with the desk Drew plunged it into. The big news coming out of SmackDown…Roman Reigns FIRED Paul Heyman, and hit Heyman with a Superman Punch...before Brock Lesnar showed up and hit Reigns with a pair of F5's. Toni Storm will challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship on the Christmas Eve episode of SmackDown. Storm & Sasha Banks beat Flair & Shotzi on last Friday's Smackdown when Toni rolled up up Charlotte for the pin. Also on the show, King Woods & Kofi Kingston won a non-title match against the SmackDown Tag Champs The Usos. Those two teams were already set for a title match at Day 1. Naomi used a rollup to pin Shayna Baszler in less than a minute. Ridge Holland pinned Cesaro with a power slam. The Viking Raiders beat Jinder Mahal & Shanky, who took the pin. WWE held tryouts at its Performance Center last week, and among the familiar faces that were spotted was Ring Of Honor Women's Champion Rok-C. (STINGER: AEW) We have our first match announced for the Battle Of The Belts special on TNT coming up on January 8th. Dr. Britt Baker will defend the AEW Women's Championship against Riho. An upset on last Friday's Rampage… Daniel Garcia rolled up and PINNED Eddie Kingston…as Garcia, 2point0 & The Acclaimed beat Kingston, Santana & Ortiz and the AEW Tag Champs the Lucha Brothers. Also on the show, Tay Conti won a Submission Match against Penelope Ford. But after the match, The Bunny knocked out Conti with a pair of brass knuckles. Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero beat The Young Bucks, Adam Cole & Bobby Fish. Trent pinned Fish. Cody and Dustin Rhodes got into a scuffle with Dan Lambert and the Men Of The Year. Sammy Guevara ran out to save the Rhodes boys. AEW announced there will be TWO Owen Hart Cup tournaments - one for the men and one of the women. And those will be held in May. Jordynne Grace will defend Impact Wrestling's Digital Media Championship against Kiera Hogan on the debut show for the upstart TERMINUS promotion on January 16th. At GCW's show in Los Angeles over the weekend… Effy & Allie Katch beat Matt Cardona & Chelsea Green. Cardona said he was quitting GCW after the match. Jonathan Gresham defended the Ring Of Honor World Championship with a win over AJ Gray The Briscoes beat Brody King & PCO to retain the GCW Tag Titles. (STINGER: New Japan) FILTHY Tom Lawlor is still the Strong Openweight Champion. He retained the gold by choking out Fred Rosser in the main event of Saturday night's New Japan Strong. Taylor Rust - a former member of Team Filthy before he signed with WWE - showed up after the match…and attacked Lawlor! A new version of Black Tiger has surfaced on Strong. He teamed with Team Filthy's JR Kratos & Royce Isaacs to beat FinJuice and Rocky Romero, the former “Black Tiger” who shed the persona more than a decade ago. The new Black Tiger pinned Romero with the Black Tiger Driver. The DKC & Kevin Knight beat Jordan Clearwater & Brogan Finlay. Back in Japan… New Japan is running four “Road To Tokyo Dome” shows this week. The first show is on Tuesday with Shingo Takagi & Hiromu Takahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada & Robbie Eagles in the main event. It's a FREE show on New Japan World. In Stardom, Momo Watanabe turned on her former faction Queen's Quest and joined Oedo Tai over the weekend. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for ______. A special welcome to those of you listening on WrestleMap.com . If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. (STINGER: AEW) AEW presents its Full Gear pay per view tonight. THREE title matches are on the card - none bigger than Kenny Omega defending the AEW Championship against Hangman Page. On last night's Rampage, Hangman confronted the Young Bucks backstage and promised to “ruin” them if they as much as lay a hand on him during tonight's title match. Dr. Britt Baker puts her AEW Women's Championship on the line tonight against Tay Conti. The Lucha Brothers defend the AEW Tag Titles against FTR. Bryan Danielson will collide with Miro in the final of the World Title Eliminator Tournament. Plus, CM Punk vs. Eddie Kingston... The Inner Circle vs. Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page & American Top Team's Junior Dos Santos, Andrei Arlovsky & Dan Lambert... Darby Allin vs. MJF... Adam Cole & the Young Bucks vs. Jurassic Express & Christian Cage... And Cody Rhodes & Pac vs. Malakai Black & Andrade El Idolo. The main show starts at 8PM Eastern. The Buy-In pre-show begins at 7:30PM Eastern...and that will have Thunder Rosa & Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose & Jamie Hayter Getting back to last night's Rampage… Matt Hardy beat Orange Cassidy in a Lumberjack Match after The Blade hit Cassidy with a pair of brass knuckles. Dante Martin pinned Ariya Daivari with his double springboard moonsault. After the match, Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs & Hook invited Martin to join Team Taz. Jungle Boy beat Bobby Fish. Adam Cole's plan for a post-match attack fizzled...and Fish was left alone to deal with the consequences, which included a Killswitch from Christian Cage. Jade Cargill made quick work of Santana Garrett. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan is running a major show of its own on U.S. soil tonight. It's Battle In The Valley from San Jose. Jay White will defend the NEVER Openweight Championship against Tomohiro Ishii. IF Ishii loses, he can never challenge for that title again. Kazuchika Okada will go one-on-one with Buddy Matthews, who will be making his New Japan debut. Other matches include... Juice Robinson vs. Moose. Will Ospreay vs. Ren Narita.. And Josh Alexander vs. Yuya Uemura. The show begins at 11PM Eastern. English commentary for the live broadcast will be exclusive to FITE TV. New Japan World will only have the Japanese language commentary when the show is live. This is an incredibly busy weekend for New Japan. Back in Japan...the Best Of The Super Juniors tournament begins on Saturday... And on Sunday, the World Tag League kicks off...with six tournament matches, including Tetsuya Naito & SANADA vs. Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI...Hiroshi Tanahashi & Toru Yano vs. EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi...and Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Minoru Suzuki & TAKA Michinoku. Pro-Wrestling NOAH has a big show of its own on Saturday with three title matches on the card, including Kaito Kiyomiya & Masa Kitamiya defending the GHC Tag Team Titles against Naomichi Marufuji & Keiji Muto. Plus, Kenoh challenges Masaaki Mochizuki for the GHC National Championship. (STINGER: WWE) It seems no one's spot is safe when it comes to the teams for the elimination tag matches at Survivor Series. Jeff Hardy beat Sami Zayn on last night's SmackDown. As a result, Zayn is OFF the SmackDown men's team. No replacement was named. Sasha Banks, Naomi & Aliyah beat Shayna Baszler, Shotzi & Natalya. Aliyah reversed Natalya's Sharpshooter into a rollup to get the pin. Naomi had a hand in the finish. That apparently upset Sonya Deville, because moments later backstage, Deville informed Aliyah that she's off the SmackDown women's team at Survivor Series...and there's no replacement named for that spot either. King Woods got a win over Universal Champion Roman Reigns via disqualification after The Usos interfered. This was a non-title match...BUT it was stated before the match that the loser must “bend the knee” to the winner, and if Reigns did not adhere to this..he would be stripped of his title and banished from SmackDown. Reigns was on one knee after the match after The Usos beat up Woods, so I guess he technically delivered on the stipulation. Also last night, Los Lotharios beat the Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs. And NXT's Von Wagner appeared backstage during SmackDown...apparently as backup for Adam Pearce. WWE responded to Keith Lee stating earlier this week that he paid for his own medical bills and expenses. WWE released a statement Friday, saying “Lee's recent comments implying WWE failed to pay his medical bills are erroneous.” That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Saturday, November 13th. (STINGER: AEW) The card for All Out got some final fine tuning on last night's AEW Dynamite. Pac vs. Andrade El Idolo is now OFF the pay per view due to travel issues. As a result, the Women's Casino Battle Royale is now on the main show...and a new match was announced for the Buy In pre-show: Jurassic Express & Best Friends vs. the Hardy Family Office. Orange Cassidy beat Jack Evans on last night's Dynamite. Some new entrants for the Women's Casino Battle Royale were announced last night: Jamie Hayter, Rebel, LEGIT Leyla Hirsch, Abadon, KiLynn King...and Anna Jay, who returned to AEW TV to rescue Tay Conti from a post-match attack by The Bunny & Penelope Ford. Conti had beaten Ford. Also last night, a shocking betrayal by Billy Gunn. He struck down Paul Wight with a steel chair shot to his surgically replaced hip. That allowed QT Marshall to lay out Wight with a Diamond Cutter. The Young Bucks & Good Brothers beat the Lucha Brothers & Jurassic Express in last night's main event. The Bucks pinned Rey Fenix with the Meltzer Driver. After the match, Kenny Omega joined The Elite for a huge post-match beatdown on the Lucha Brothers and Christian Cage. That included The Elite hijacking the steel cage hanging above the ring to prevent anyone from coming to the rescue. Santana & Ortiz beat FTR. AND Powerhouse Hobbs pinned Brian Cage after Ricky Starks hit Cage with the FTW Championship. An in-ring promo by CM Punk was interrupted by Daniel Garcia and 2.0. Darby Allin and Sting quickly appeared...and they helped Punk clear the ring. AEW Women's Champion Dr. Britt Baker announced she's signed a new long-term contract with AEW. Anyone attending the Dynamite: Grand Slam show at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York later this month...will need proof they've received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. That's in line with protocols put in place in New York City last month. (STINGER: Impact) Tonight's Impact Wrestling has Ace Austin vs. Tommy Dreamer. If Dreamer wins, he gets inserted into Austin's title match against Impact World Champion Christian Cage at Victory Road. X-Division Champ Josh Alexander has issued an open challenge for tonight, offering a title match to any former X-Division Champion. Also tonight, Matt Cardona & Chelsea Green vs. Rohit Raju & Shera...AND Taylor Wilde, Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering vs. The Influence. (STINGER: WWE) Today's NXT UK has Teoman vs. Nathan Frazer in a Heritage Cup #1 Contender Tournament match. Plus, Blair Davenport vs. Nina Samuels. (STINGER: ROH) Ring Of Honor says Rush will be out of action for the rest of year. He underwent knee surgery earlier this week. El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori defend the junior tag titles against Yoshinobu Kanemaru & El Desperado. Saturday's show now has a one-on-one match between former tag partners SHO and YOH. Stardom will have a match on both Wrestle Grand Slam shows...and BOTH will be broadcast on New Japan World. At Stardom's show on Sunday... Starlight Kid beat Natsupoi to win the High Speed Title. Trevor Murdoch ended the near three-year reign of Nick Aldis in the main event of last night's 73rd Anniversary pay per view...pinning Aldis after a leaping bulldog from the top rope. Ric Flair, who also appeared earlier in the show, was on hand to congratulate Murdoch. There are new NWA Tag Team Champions. Bestia 666 & Mecha Wolf 450, who had Konnan in their corner, dethroned Aron Stevens & Kratos. Chris Adonis pinned James Storm with a roll-up and his feet on the ropes to retain the NWA National Title. Judais won a battle royal to become the #1 contender for the National Title. Mickie James pinned Kylie Ray. Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo attacked James after the match. Kamille submitted Chelsea Green to retain the NWA World Women's Championship. Anthony Henry, who signed with WWE back in January, and was wrestling under the name Asher Hale...Alex Zayne, who was wrestling under the name Ari Sterling. We got two new matches officially announced for SummerSlam during Friday night's SmackDown. Bianca Belair will defend the SmackDown Women's Championship against Sasha Banks. Belair beat Zelina Vega in a non-title match on SmackDown. Also added to SummerSlam, Edge vs. Seth Rollins. Finn Balor is not over last week's contract signing...and the Universal Title match he missed out on when Baron Corbin interrupted the ceremony...and then, John Cena swooped in to sign the contract himself. Balor steamrolled Corbin on Friday night. After the match, Balor said he still wants his title shot and he'll go through Cena to get it. That drew out Roman Reigns...and The Usos. Balor got the better of them for a bit, but eventually succumbed to the numbers game. KING Nakamura beat Intercontinental Champ Apollo Crews via disqualification...after Commander Azeez got involved. This was a non-title match, but this appears to put Nakamura in line for a title shot. Tegan Nox pinned one half of the WWE Women's Tag Champs Tamina. Team Filthy appeared to gain some extra manpower at the end of last night's New Japan Strong. Team Filthy's Danny Limelight & JR Kratos beat the West Coast Wrecking Crew - Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs - in the main event. The two sides were ready to keep going at it after the match, but FILTHY Tom Lawlor himself came to the ring to play peacemaker...and Nelson & Isaacs left the ring with Team Filthy. Pro-Wrestling NOAH's YO-HEY is out of action after a PCR test came back positive for the coronavirus. Five other wrestlers and a referee were also pulled from Friday's show due to contact with YO-HEY. Several upcoming shows in Australia are canceled or postponed due to a new 7-day lockdown in the country over COVID-19 concerns. An extra episode of NWA Powerrr on Friday produced a new champion. Tyrus took the NWA TV Title from Da Pope. Lady Frost is now added to the Empowerrr pay per view on August 28th. She'll be part of a battle royal...where the winner gets a shot at the NWA Women's Title the following day at the NWA's 73rd Anniversary pay per view. Listen and subscribe at www.JustProWrestlingNews.com I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Monday, July 19, 2021. This update is brought to you by IndyWrestling.us. (STINGER: WWE) John Cena is back in WWE...and he's being promoted for tonight's Raw. (Cena Return To Raw) That clip from WWE.com. Raw is LIVE tonight in Dallas. The first Raw in front of live fans since March of LAST YEAR. Cena's long-expected return to WWE finally happened last night. He emerged at the very end of Money In The Bank to confront Roman Reigns. Cena didn't speak on the mic during the broadcast...but I think we can all guess where this is heading. Reigns had just pinned Edge with Spear to retain the Universal Championship. He got a big assist from Seth Rollins. Big E won the men's Money In The Bank ladder match...after dropping Rollins with a Big Ending from the top of the ladder. Nikki Cross - or Nikki ASH - won the women's Money In The Bank match. Charlotte Flair is once again the Raw Women's Champion. She submitted Rhea Ripley with the Figure Eight. Bobby Lashley submitted Kofi Kingston with the Hurt Lock to retain the WWE Championship in a relatively brief match. AJ Styles & Omos beat the Viking Raiders to retain the Raw Tag Team Titles. The Usos are once again the SmackDown Tag Champs. They dethroned Rey & Dominik Mysterio on last night's kickoff show. (STINGER: Impact) What is Jay White doing in the Impact Zone? That's the big question coming out of Saturday night's Slammiversary pay per view. White made his entrance at the very end of the show...right after Kenny Omega had beaten Sami Callihan to retain the Impact World Championship. White stepped inside the ring with Omega, Don Callis and the Good Brothers...but his allegiances were not made clear. White was not the only surprise at Slammiversary. The surprise challenger to Knockouts Champ Deonna Purrazzo was...Thunder Rosa. Purrazzo managed to prevail - pinning Rosa with the Queen's Gambit. Mickie James was out after the match to confront Purrazzo...and then lay her out with a superkick. Chelsea Green returned to Impact as Matt Cardona's surprise partner...and together they beat Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood. Green pinned Dashwood. Juice Robinson & David Finlay returned to Impact...and beat Shera & Madman Fulton in an impromptu match. Fallah Bahh's surprise partner for the 4-Way Tag Title Match was the former No Way Jose - introduced simply as “No Way”. The Good Brothers won the 4-Way...pinning Rhino with a Magic Killer to take the belts from Violent By Design. Josh Alexander won the Ultimate X Match to retain the X Division Championship. Chris Sabin upset Moose. He caught him in a Victory Roll for the pin. W. Morrissey beat Eddie Edwards… And on the pre-show...Rosemary & Havok beat Fire n' Flava to win the Knockouts Tag Titles. Slammiversary also included a mysterious hype video that featured a sign that simply read, “Long live the Drama King”. Impact's next pay per view is Bound For Glory on October 23rd. Before that there will be the Impact Plus exclusive Homecoming show on July 31st. Impact is promising to crown a Homecoming King and Queen at that show! (STINGER: AEW) At least 12 matches are announced for tonight's AEW Dark: Elevation…including a battle of unbeatens. Brock Anderson tags with Lee Johnson against Billy & Colten Gunn. BOTH Brock Anderson and Colten Gunn have yet to taste defeat in a non-Battle Royale match in AEW. Also tonight...Red Velvet vs. Julia Hart...Penta El Zero Miedo & Eddie Kingston vs. JD Drake & Cezar Bononi...and Tay Conti & Serena Deeb team up for a tag match against VertVixen & Jazmin Allure. (STINGER: New Japan) Kota Ibushi's recent illness will cause him to miss another show for New Japan on Monday. That show is NOT being broadcast on New Japan World. On Saturday's Summer Struggle show...Ryusuke Taguchi pinned Taiji Ishimori with a rollup...and Rocky Romero and El Phantasmo wrestled to a 30-minute draw. Unagi Sayaka is the new Future of STARDOM Champion. She dethroned Mina Shirakawa over the weekend. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Monday, July 19. It is indeed the former Bea Priestley. Tyler Bate is still the Heritage Cup Champion. He beat Jack Starz. The first challenger for the new NXT UK Women's Champ Meiko Satomura appears to be Amale...who ran over Nina Samuels to get face-to-face with Satomura in the ring. Satomura then put down Amale with a forearm. Jordan Devlin submitted A-Kid in the main event...and Emilia McKenzie pinned Isla Dawn. Check out the new episode with special guest Katie Arquette right now wherever you get your podcasts.. (STINGER: WWE) There's a new NXT North American Champion. Isaiah SWERVE Scott took the title from Bronson Reed in the main event of last night's NXT. Hit Row provided a key distraction and Scott finished off Reed with a 450 Splash. The match was made during the show. It also seems to be worth mentioning that Reed recently worked a match on Main Event. Io Shirai & Zoey Stark are the new #1 contender for the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles. They won a triple threat on last night's NXT - beating the teams of Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai and Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon. Shirai pinned Kai with a moonsault. Shirai & Stark will challenge Candice LeRae & Indie Hartwell for the women's tag titles on next week's Great American Bash special. Also announced for the Bash...LA Knight will defend the Million Dollar Championship against Cameron Grimes. If Grimes loses, he must become Knight's BUTLER! Xia Li & Boa beat Mercedes Martinez & Jake Atlas...I guess. Xia kicked Mercedes and went for a pin. It appeared Mercedes kicked out, but she rolled to the floor right after that and the ref called off the match. Roderick Strong had his first match since he opened The Diamond Mine. He submitted Asher Hale. Johnny Gargano attacked NXT Champion Karrion Kross...backstage...in the ring...and finally in the parking lot. Only Kross would not stay down and choked out Gargano. NXT announced it's bringing back its Breakout Tournament...starting in two weeks. (STINGER: AEW) AEW Dynamite is back on Wednesday night for the first time since the middle of last month. AND Chris Jericho will be on commentary. On last night's Dark… Frankie Kazarian submitted JD Drake with the crossface chicken wing. The Blade pinned Sonny Kiss. Blade and The Hybrid 2 were looking to beat down Kiss after the match...but Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor came to the rescue. Joey Janela eventually showed up too, but Kiss wasn't too thrilled to see him. Private Party & Jack Evans beat Dark Order's Evil Uno, Stu Grayson & Colt Cabana.....and Powerhouse Hobbs beat Marko Stunt. (STINGER: ROH) A Pure Title match is now official for Ring Of Honor's Best In The World pay per view. Mike Bennett will challenge for the gold currently held by Jonathan Gresham. This is all setting up a NEVER 6-Man Title Match on Friday between those two sides. On last night's NWA Powerrr…Kylie Ray pinned Melina with a superkick...and Jennacide pinned Lady Frost. Listen and subscribe at www.JustProWrestlingNews.com I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Monday, June 21, 2021. This update is brought to you by IndyWrestling.us. (STINGER: WWE) Expect some fallout from last night's Hell In A Cell pay per view on tonight's Raw. Bobby Lashley is STILL the WWE Champion. He beat Drew McIntyre inside Hell In A Cell last night. MVP found his way inside the cell after the referee was knocked out. McIntyre battered MVP inside the cell. But later, it was MVP who made a timely grab of McIntyre's ankle and Lashley rolled up McIntyre for the pin. Also last night, Charlotte Flair beat Rhea Ripley...via disqualification. So, Ripley is still the Raw Women's Champion. Bianca Belair pinned Bayley with a KOD onto a ladder...INSIDE Hell In A Cell...to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship. The match between Alexa Bliss and Shayna Baszler included Alexa apparently hypnotizing Shayna and Nia Jax, who was at ringside. The apparent mind control over Nia caused her to strike down Reginald. Anyway, Bliss ended up pinning Shayna with the Twisted Bliss. Sami Zayn pinned Kevin Owens with the Helluva Kick. Thanks to Sean Ross Sapp for pointing this out - that was Zayn's first pinfall win in a one-on-one match since last October. Seth Rollins reversed Cesaro's giant swing into a rollup for the pin and the win. Natalya submitted Mandy Rose with the Sharpshooter on the Kickoff Show. (STINGER: AEW) Tonight's AEW Dark: Elevation has Jungle Boy vs. Cezar Bononi...Matt Sydal vs. Jack Evans. Plus, FTR is in tag team action. As well as the team of Eddie Kingston & Penta El Zero Miedo. COVID-19 related issues are wrecking plans for a promotion in Japan once again. The dominant, top title holder in All Japan - SUWAMA - vacated the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship over the weekend...after he tested positive for COVID. SUWAMA was set to defend the gold against the Champion Carnival winner Jake Lee in less than a week. Both Kento Miyahara and Yuma Aoyagi stated Sunday they want to challenge for the title. But There's no official word from All Japan on what it plans to do about this. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan has announced its first show in front of live fans in the U.S. since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Resurgence will go down on Saturday, August 14th at The Torch - a 5,000 seat outdoor venue at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Among the names scheduled to appear - Jay White, Jon Moxley, the Good Brothers, FILTHY Tom Lawlor and Shota Umino. The show is to be broadcasted live with Japanese commentary on New Japan World...and on FITE TV with English commentary. Back in Japan, the Kizuna Road tour resumes on Tuesday...with the NEVER 6-Man Tag Titles on the line in the main event. Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI defend against EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi & Dick Togo. Looking further down the road...nine wrestling companies - including New Japan, NOAH, Dragon Gate and All Japan - will come together in September for a two-day event to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the first pro wrestling show ever held in Japan. MLW officially confirmed some additional names for its Battle Riot III match coming up on July 10th: TJP...Gringo Loco...Kevin Ku...and newcomer Arez. If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. (STINGER: WWE) WWE is heading back out on the road...and now, we know exactly when that will happen. The company on Friday announced a 25-city touring schedule - that begins in July and runs through Labor Day. It'll begin with a live SmackDown on July 16th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. That'll be followed two days later by Money In The Bank at the Dickies Center in Fort Worth. The following day, Raw will emanate from the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Tickets to those three events go on sale next Wednesday morning. WWE says details on future dates will be announced over the coming weeks. Apollo Crews is STILL the Intercontinental Champion. He won a 4-Way over Big E, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn on last SmackDown. Crews pinned Big E after Aleister Black showed up and delivered a Black Mass to Big E. Bayley, Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler beat the SmackDown Women's Champ Bianca Belair and the WWE Women's Tag Champs Natalya & Tamina. Baszler submitted Natalya with the Kirifuda Clutch. Baszler & Jax get their championship rematch against Natalya & Tamina on Monday's Raw. Shinsuke Nakamura pinned King Corbin. Nakamura had Rick Boogs playing the role of his personal guitarist. It's Boogs main roster debut...and when he started playing during the match, that distracted Corbin and allowed Nakamura to grab a small package for the pin. Dominik Mysterio pinned Robert Roode after a 619 and a frog splash. (STINGER: Impact) Moose is disputing a Wrestling Observer report that he's signed a new deal with Impact Wrestling. On Twitter, Moose flatly called it “not true”. Moose is set to challenge Kenny Omega for the Impact World Championship next month. (STINGER: New Japan) A wild brawl in the main event of last night's New Japan Strong. It was Fred Rosser and Hikuleo in a No Disqualification Match. This one went all around the arena...and even outside the building...and inside a truck parked outside. Eventually, they returned to the ring where Rosser hit a gutbuster and a running knee to get the pin. Also last night, Brody King and Karl Fredericks beat Team Filthy's JR Kratos and Danny Limelight. Fredericks put away Limelight with a choke sleeper hold. New Japan is running three straight dates in Korakuen Hall beginning on Monday. All three shows will be broadcast on New Japan World. It's almost exclusively tag matches from the main event on down. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Saturday, May 22. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan needs a new top champion. It announced Thursday that Will Ospreay has vacated the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship...due to a neck injury he suffered during his title defense against Shingo Takagi earlier this month. New Japan said there's no timetable for Ospreay's return. It's promising further announcements on the future of its top title. New Japan is holding its first live event in nearly two weeks on Saturday in Nagoya. This will NOT be broadcast on New Japan World. The next live show from Japan on World is coming up on Monday. A No Disqualification Match is the main event on tonight's New Japan Strong. It's Fred Rosser vs. Hikuleo. Plus, Brody King and Karl Fredericks vs. Team Filthy's JR Kratos & Danny Limelight...and Alex Coghlin vs. Bateman. (STINGER: WWE) It wasn't that long ago when he was widely considered one of the brightest young stars in pro wrestling. Now, Velveteen Dream's time in WWE is over. The former NXT North American Champion was reportedly released on Thursday. He hadn't wrestled a match since last December. The Intercontinental Championship is on the line on tonight's SmackDown. Apollo Crews is set to defend in a 4-Way...against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Big E. Tyler Bate is the NEW Heritage Cup Champion. He dethroned A-Kid on Thursday's NXT UK. Bate reversed a rollup into one of his own...to score the one and only fall of the 6th round of the match. Also on the show...Amele pinned Xia Brookside...and Rampage Brown pinned Wolfgang. (STINGER: Impact) We have NEW Impact Tag Team Champions - but it's probably not who you think. FinJuice beat Ace Austin and Madman Fulton to retain the titles on last night's Impact. But after the match, Violent By Design made a surprise appearance. VBD's Rhino won a “Call Your Shot” Battle Royal last October...that granted him a future title shot of his choosing...and he chose to cash in that opportunity last night. Rhino and Joe Doering quickly beat FinJuice and they are the new Impact Tag Team Champions. The Forbidden Door between Impact Wrestling and New Japan is swinging open again. Last night, Impact announced that former IWGP Heavyweight Champ Satoshi Kojima will be on next week's show. Impact Champ Kenny Omega thought he and the Good Brothers had his next title challenger Moose cornered for an attack...but Sami Callihan ran to the ring to back up Moose. Rachael Ellering pinned Jordynne Grace with a rollup...after Grace made a surprising challenge for the match between the former Knockouts Tag Champs. Tenille Dashwood used a rollup to pin one half of the current Knockouts Tag Champs Kiera Hogan. Dashwood has her sights set on those titles...with Taylor Wilde as her partner. The only problem is that Wilde is not really on board with the plan. Rohit Raju pinned Jake Something...thanks to a big assist from Shera. After the match, Something battered Shera with a steel chair. W. Morrissey attacked Rich Swann during a backstage interview. (STINGER: ROH) The Ring Of Honor Tag Team Titles will be defended on this weekend's ROH TV. It's Matt Taven and Mike Bennett challenging HOT SAUCE Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus. Also on the show, a Pure Rules Match between Rocky Romero and Fred Yehi. Major League Wrestling kicked off its Open Draft Thursday night...and revealed a new signee, former Ring Of Honor World Champion Davey Richards, will be joining its roster. Richards recently announced his return to pro wrestling. He stepped away from the business in 2017. MLW says Richards will debut at their live event in Philadelphia on July 10th. Other news coming out of last night. We learned the former Dario Cueto will be known as Cesar Duran in MLW...and former Lucha Underground Champion Mil Muertes is now being called “King Muertes”. I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Sunday, December 20, 2020. This update is sponsored by IndyWrestling.us. Tonight, it's the final WWE pay-per-view of the year - TLC. Six matches have been announced, including two championship matches being contested under TLC rules. Roman Reigns defends the Universal Title against Kevin Owens. And AJ Styles challenges Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax will defend their women's tag team titles against Asuka...and a mystery partner. Sasha Banks puts the SmackDown Women's Title on the line against Carmella. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander challenge Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods for the Raw Tag Titles. And Randy Orton faces The Fiend in the first-ever Firefly Inferno Match. WWE is keeping the details of that stipulation under wraps. The Kickoff show begins at 6PM ET - The main show starts at 7. Jey Uso has been a big part of Reigns' title run. And it won't be long until Jimmy Uso returns to full-time action. Jey says he expects his brother back by January or February. (Jey Uso On Jimmy Injury) Jey speaking with WWE German language commentator Walandi Tsanti for ProSieben MAXX. Injury news following Ring Of Honor's Final Battle...and it is not good news for Mike Bennett. He tweeted that he'll be out for the next 6 weeks with a hairline fracture in his ankle. Another day of trademark filing news. Heel By Nature first to report WWE filing for a trademark for the name “The Collective” - the same name Game Changer Wrestling has used for one of its signature events for years. However, this may not be an issue for either side. WWE's filing appears to be for a stable or tag team - NOT an event. And GCW owner Brett Lauderdale tweeted on Saturday “everything will be ok”. Meanwhile, AEW may have tipped its hand on the new program it's developing for Warnermedia. Heel By Nature also first to report AEW filed a trademark for the name “AEW Elevation”. A new match for Wednesday's NXT just announced yesterday - the NXT Tag Team Titles will be on the line Wednesday night. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch will defend against Drake Maverick and Killian Dane. And it will be a Street Fight. The first broadcast from New Japan's Road To The Tokyo Dome tour is happening Monday morning. That will be a FREE show on New Japan World starting at 4:30 AM ET. The main event is a 6-man tag. LIJ's Tetsuya Naito, SANADA and BUSHI vs Bullet Club's Jay White, EVIL and Dick Togo. This will be the first time White and EVIL have ever tagged. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Sunday, December 20. Our next update comes your way tomorrow morning, so be sure to subscribe to this feed. We also thank you in advance for leaving a glowing rating or review.. I'm Matt Carlins. Thank YOU for listening.
