Beat Hächler, Direktor des Alpinen Museums Bern, trifft auf Fahrlehrerin Nuran Serifi. Bei Dani Fohrler geben die beiden Einblick in ihr Leben. Nuran Serifi, (44) Fahrlehrerin Nuran Serifi kam im Alter von acht Jahren gemeinsam mit ihren Eltern und drei Geschwistern von Mazedonien nach Ostermundigen in die Schweiz. Nach einer anspruchsvollen Schulzeit absolvierte sie eine Lehre als Detailhandelsangestellte im Schuhverkauf. Sie war gerade volljährig, als sie als erstes Mitglied ihrer Familie den Schweizer Pass erwarb. Nuran war immer schon eine Fragende: Bereits in jungen Jahren setzte sie sich kritisch mit gesellschaftlichen und religiösen Fragen auseinander. Aufgewachsen als Sunnitin, entschied sie sich später bewusst für das Schiitentum. Mit knapp 30 Jahren, nach der Geburt ihres zweiten Sohnes, begann sie ein Kopftuch zu tragen. Die Reaktionen darauf machten ein Weiterarbeiten im Verkauf unmöglich. Aus ihrer Leidenschaft für das Autofahren entwickelte sie dann einen neuen beruflichen Weg: Sie liess sich zur Fahrlehrerin ausbilden und gründete eine eigene Fahrschule. Heute ist Nuran Serifi Mutter von drei Kindern und selbständige Unternehmerin. Beat Hächler, (64) Direktor des ALPS, Alpines Museum der Schweiz, Bern Für Beat Hächler sind Berge mehr als Landschaft – sie sind ein emotionaler Resonanzraum. Persönlich hat es ihm vor allem das Tessin angetan: Dort ist er oft zu Fuss unterwegs, sammelt Pilze oder bereitet draussen ein Fondue zu. In einer Journalistenfamilie aufgewachsen, suchte er schon als Bub Öffentlichkeit und Form: Er gab eine eigene Schülerzeitung heraus und entwickelte früh ein Gespür für Geschichten. Studiert hat er Geschichte, Deutsch und Journalistik. Während dieser Zeit lebte er bei einer Verwandten in einer Mansarde – in genau diesem Haus (auf einer anderen Etage) wohnt er bis heute. Vom Journalismus wechselte er zum «Stapferhaus», Lenzburg. Während 18 Jahren kuratierte er dort prägende Ausstellungen und machte das Haus zu einem Ort gesellschaftlicher Debatten. Mit dem Auftrag, das Alpine Museum der Schweiz in Bern neu zu positionieren, übernahm Beat Hächler die Direktion.
