Critters 4 is was the second film in the franchise to go straight to video. And it continued the trend of shrinking the scale of the story being told. Like Critters 3, which was set in an apartment building, Critters 4 confines its characters to a claustrophobic space station and gives them very few Crites to deal with. There are literally only two titular Critters in the movie. That feisty alien duo isn't enough to generate sufficient kills or scares to make this an entertaining entry in the series. Thus despite bringing back franchise favorite Charlie, played as always by Don Keith Hopper, and boasting the talents of horror icon Brad Dourif and the queen of Wakanda Angela Bassett, Critters 4 is a lifeless venture. The Crites just didn't have any bite left. So, sit back, curl up with a Wild Little Thing from Sierra Nevada, and don't trust Ug or his Tera Core goons! I, the Thunderous Wizard (@WriterTLK), Mayor McCheese, Capt. Cash and Chumpzilla are playing Critter kickball in Space! "Fully Loaded 1999" Card: WWF Champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. The Undertaker in a First Blood / End of an Era Match The Rock vs. Triple-H in a #1 Contender Strap Match "The Road Dogg" & X-Pac vs. Billy Gunn & Chyna for the merchandising rights to D-Generation-X The Big Show vs. Kane w/special guest referee Hardcore Holly Ken Shamrock vs. Steve Blackman in an Iron Circle Match WWF Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz vs. The Acolytes in an Acolytes Rules Match WWF Intercontinental Champion Edge vs. Jeff Jarrett WWF European Champion Mideon vs. D'Lo Brown WWF Hardcore Champion Al Snow vs. The Big Boss Man July 26th, 1999 "Monday Night Raw": Vince McMahon is banned from WWF television forever, but before he can leave the airwaves "Stone Cold" Steve Austin gets a chance to say goodbye. Triple-H is the new #1 contender for "Stone Cold's" WWF Title, and he squares off with Ken Shamrock..... who got hit by a car earlier in the night! In your main event, The Rock faces Billy Gunn & Chyna in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match. The Undertaker is seeking revenge on X-Pac & Kane, and he may have found a partner-in-crime to help him out. Jeff Jarrett celebrates his Intercontinental Title victory by interviewing a special guest: the star of "Mystery Men," Ben Stiller! New Tag Team Champions The Acolytes put their titles on the line against Edge & Christian while Hardcore Holly watches on from ringside. Val Venis & The Godfather face Droz & Prince Albert, who have a familiar-looking "fan" in the crowd backing them up. WWF Women's Champion Ivory issues another open challenge, but she gets more than she bargained for when a familiar face interrupts the festivities. Plus, Kane speaks(!), Al Snow befriends a chihuahua, and we get an excerpt from Jim Ross's book "Under the Black Hat" where he discusses tonight's episode of "Raw!" July 5th, 1999: New WWF Champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is slated for a rematch with The Undertaker at "Fully Loaded," and a tempting offer from Vince McMahon ups the stakes of the match even further. In our main event, The Rock and Triple-H look to settle their differences inside of a Steel Cage! WWF Tag Team Champions The Acolytes put their titles on the line against the up-and-coming Hardy Boyz. "The Road Dogg" Jesse James goes one-on-one with Val Venis... until one of them gets arrested. The Big Show & Hardcore Holly face Kane in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match, but "The Big Red Machine" doesn't appear to be all that fazed by those odds. Gangrel squares off with The Godfather, who has Droz & Prince Albert acting as his Hoes for the night. Jeff Jarrett defends his WWF Intercontinental Title against Chaz (yes, that's right -- Chaz has somehow earned a title shot). Reigning King of the Ring Billy Gunn looks to get back on track with a win against Meat. Test's rivalry with Shane McMahon and The Mean Street Posse continues to escalate as he steps into the ring with Joey Abs. The Big Boss Man was riding high last week when he rejoined The Corporate Ministry, but can he carry that momentum into his match against Edge? Al Snow puts his WWF Hardcore Title on the line against D'Lo Brown. Plus, GTV strikes again, Chyna claims that DX has vandalized her rental car, and Amy Dumas (the future Lita) makes her first appearance in The WWF! Meanwhile over on "Nitro," Bret Hart speaks for the first time since his brother Owen's death, and Goldberg makes his grand return at a Megadeth concert! Phil and Sean are back this week to talk about the big win against the Ravens but mostly about Covid coming for the Browns again in a must win game against the Raiders at home. They talk a little about the schedule for the rest of the division, give their picks and update you on their fantasy league. It's the Match Made in Heaven and the Match Made in Hell! The Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth have their wedding in the ring to close this show and the actual main event is Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior taking on The Triangle of Terror (Sgt. Slaughter, Gen. Adnan, & Col. Mustafa) in a Handicap Match! The wrestling world was a little weird in 1991. This show in particular would be a turning point for the WWF where the Ultimate Warrior would get fired directly after his match, the Macho Man was asked to step back into the ring, and many feuds were shaken up. Also on this show was the heating up of a feud between the Legion of Doom and the Natural Disasters, the Nasty Boys also defending their WWF Tag-Team Titles against the LOD, and The Big Boss Man battling it out with The Mountie to see who will spend a night in jail!CHECK OUT OUR MERCHANDISE: MainEventMarks.redbubble.comGET YOUR SPORTS SWAG ON FANATICS: fanatics.ncw6.net/jxzKMORDER FROM SWIFT LIFESTYLES: SwiftLifestyles.com, use PROMO CODE: MainEventMarks at checkout for 15% offLISTEN EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 8PM EST: unhingedsn.airtime.proFOLLOW US ON TWITTER & INSTAGRAM: @MainEvent_MarksFOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK: facebook.com/maineventmarkspodEMAIL US AT: maineventmarkspod@gmail.comSEARCH FOR US ON YOUTUBE AT: Main Event Marks--- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/appSupport this podcast: https://anchor.fm/mainevent-marks/support Learn more about your ad choices. June 14th, 1999: After being appointed as the CEO of the company last week, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin heads to WWF Headquarters and institutes some very interesting changes. Meanwhile back in the arena, Vince and Shane McMahon contemplate what the stipulation for their "King of the Ring" match should be, so they make several stipulation matches tonight on "Raw." The Rock challenges The Undertaker to a title match at "King of the Ring," but he will first have to beat 'Taker in a non-title match tonight.... and possibly someone else as well. Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco disagree with Vince's authoritarian tactics, so the chairman forces them to compete in a match against Mideon & Viscera. Because he took Stephanie McMahon out on a date last week, Test is ordered to face The Big Boss Man in a Blind Date Match, where Test must wear a blindfold. WWF Tag Team Champions The Acolytes defend their titles in a Handicap Match against Kane (yes, you read that correctly). "The Road Dogg" Jesse James squares off with his former tag team partner "Mr. Ass" in a Dogg Pound Match where both men are joined at the neck by a dog collar. In a non-title match, WWF Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett faces Ken Shamrock in a Straitjacket Match where only Shamrock has to wrestle in a straitjacket. X-Pac is scheduled to face The Big Show in a David vs. Goliath Match, but the big man seemingly wants no part of it. Debra defends her WWF Women's Title against Ivory, who is somehow in line for a title shot even though she hasn't wrestled on "Raw" in months. Plus, GTV captures yet another embarrassing backstage moment! Meanwhile in WCW, a big-name wrestler returns to the company after a six-year absence and Sable shocks the world by appearing on "Nitro!" June 7th, 1999: It's truly a monumental night in the WWF, and Adam from NitroMania is here to provide some insight! The time has finally come for the revelation of The Higher Power -- who could it be?! Well, unfortunately for The Higher Power, he immediately gets upstaged by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin... who gets appointed as the new CEO of the company! The Rock and Triple-H go head-to-head in the first-ever Cast Match, where Rock is wearing a cast on his arm and Hunter must wear one on his leg. The Union is given a blank check to face whomever they want: Big Show wisely chooses a title match, Ken Shamrock wants a Lion's Den Match with an unlikely opponent, and Test gives a rather surprising answer. Shane McMahon is ordered to face X-Pac & Kane in a Handicap Match, but some old friends of "The Boy Wonder" apparently still have his back. Billy Gunn (who is apparently just going by "Mr. Ass" now) squares off with The Godfather, who is accompanied by a very scantily-clad Ho Train. The Acolytes defend their WWF Tag Team Titles against Brood members Edge & Gangrel while The Hardy Boyz and Michael P.S. Hayes look on from ringside. Al Snow puts his WWF Hardcore Title on the line against Droz in a match where both men amusingly make their way into the nearby sports bar. WWF Women's Champion Debra faces Nicole Bass in a Bikini Contest because, ya know, Attitude Era. Plus, GTV invades PMS's locker room, and we make our pitches for who The Higher Power should have been! Meanwhile over on "Nitro," WCW begins a mystery storyline of their own when someone driving a white Hummer attempts to murder Kevin Nash! Enjoying the Podcast? May 3rd, 1999: Now that Shane McMahon and The Undertaker have joined forces to create The Corporate Ministry, Mankind teams up with The Big Show, Ken Shamrock, and Test to form a Union of his own. However, Shane does not take too kindly to this new alliance, so he proceeds to schedule a bunch of matches which are slanted in The Corporate Ministry's favor. Not only that, but Shane challenges his father Vince McMahon to a match tonight.... but will the chairman accept? In our main event, WWF Champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin faces The Rock in a Lumberjack Match, with The Corporate Ministry acting as lumberjacks. Mankind must compete in a hard-hitting Hardcore Handicap Match against The Acolytes. The Undertaker steps into the ring with The Big Show, which leads to one of the most awesomely brutal spots you'll ever see (hint: it involves a baseball bat). Ken Shamrock is ordered to face Triple-H..... in a match where Chyna is the special guest referee. We get a Four Corners Match: Test vs. The Big Boss Man vs. Mideon vs. Viscera (which is really more of a 3-on-1 Handicap Match). The recently-fired Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco return to the ring against Mean Street Posse members Rodney & Pete Gas. Fresh off a heel turn on the pilot episode of "Smackdown," Billy Gunn does battle with his former DX stablemate X-Pac. WWF Women's Champion Sable is ordered to defend her title against Debra in an Evening Gown Match, but Sable may have other priorities instead. Plus, we get the on-screen debut of the infinitely charismatic Linda McMahon! Enjoying the Podcast? E-mail us at rawattitudepodcast@gmail.com or Tweet us @RawAttitudePod!
