In this special episode, Gresh reflects on the past year, noting that his original focus on the franchise‑broker business has been pushed to the side as unexpected demands arose in his digital‑marketing venture.  Despite the shift, he remains optimistic, pointing to early signs of opportunity. He uses a marathon metaphor to describe the entrepreneurial journey: there are fast‑paced stretches, moments to pause, hydrate, and refocus, but the race never truly ends.  This mindset keeps him motivated, especially after a recent workout that reminded him of the constant nature of progress. Looking ahead, Gresh is eager to keep leveling up in both his personal health and his brokerage business. He plans to leverage the experiences he's documenting, run experiments, and share future updates with the audience.  Blue Star Franchise: http://bluestarfranchise.com Browse the Franchise Inventory: https://bluestarfranchise.com/franchise Is franchising right for you? In this special episode, Gresham Harkless shares a powerful insight into the importance of pacing and sustainability in both physical fitness and his journey as a franchise broker.   After going for a jog on Father's Day, he recognizes that while he could have pushed himself to go farther, stopping at 2.5 miles was the smarter, more sustainable choice.    He reflects on how, at the beginning, he tried to go all in—chasing quick wins and putting in intense effort, but that approach left him teetering on burnout.    Now, he's learning to value the small, consistent steps—the equivalent of simply lacing up his shoes, as the true markers of progress.    Additionally, Gresham emphasizes that respecting the journey, knowing his limits, and investing in long-term momentum is what will allow him to thrive over the next 5, 10, or more years, just as he has done in his digital marketing career.   Blue Star Franchise: http://bluestarfranchise.com Browse the Franchise Inventory: https://bluestarfranchise.com/franchise Is franchising right for you?

We talk about how walking is "super good for you" and can burn just as many calories as running depending on time spent, embracing the "slow and steady" approach over intense, constantly-go-go workouts. We also dive into the reality that progress isn't linear in your running journey – you can have amazing runs one day and terrible ones the next, but the key is not to give up. Justine shares a hilarious (and slightly terrifying!) running horror story about how listening to Crime Junkie while running made her PR her 5K time because she was so "amped up" and literally "running scared". Send us a textI've trained for endurance in all kinds of ways—some smart, some not-so-much. This week, I'm sharing how I built a jogging routine that actually works with my life, not against it. Whether I'm prepping for a thru-hike or squeezing in a jog before the day takes over, I've learned that movement can be reshaped to meet you exactly where you are.If you've ever wanted to jog but felt too slow, too tired, or too unsure of where to begin, I've been there. I'm bringing you stories from the trail, from the road, and from those early days when two miles felt like an event. I'll also share the strategy that kept me from falling off track—especially when motivation faded—and what I've learned from my own missteps (literally). This one's for the folks who want more energy without spending all day chasing it. If you've got a pair of shoes and a few spare minutes, you're already closer than you think. Meet me in this episode, and let's explore what a jogging practice can become when you let go of the noise and start with the smallest, clearest step.Quote of the week:“I run because it's so symbolic of life. You have to drive yourself to overcome the obstacles. You might feel that you can't. Omer Agiv is the co-founder and CEO of Faireez, an AI-powered housekeeping platform delivering hotel-style cleaning services to multifamily buildings. A serial entrepreneur with seven startups under his belt—including one acquired by Anheuser-Busch—Omer brings deep expertise in digitizing traditional industries. With Faireez, he's aiming to disrupt the outdated home cleaning model by providing on-demand, tech-enabled daily housekeeping that enhances resident lifestyle and property value.     Make sure to download our free guide, 7 Questions Every Passive Investor Should Ask, here. Key Takeaways Faireez makes housekeeping a modern apartment community amenity, offering AI-powered daily cleaning services tailored to multifamily properties. The platform benefits three key groups: residents (who want convenience), property managers (seeking lifestyle-enhancing amenities), and cleaners (offered stable, respectful employment). Unlike gig economy models, Faireez partners with professional cleaning companies and assigns one “fairy” per building for consistent service. This model enables short, high-frequency cleaning sessions (15–20 minutes daily) and creates a trust-based relationship with residents. Faireez enhances NOI for property owners while offering residents a premium, lifestyle-driven amenity.     Topics From Beer Analytics to Domestic Tech Omer previously built and sold a startup that provided real-time beer consumption analytics for breweries worldwide. He's passionate about applying tech to “low-tech” industries—first beer, now housekeeping. Faireez was born from his frustration of working long hours and still coming home to do dishes at midnight. Housekeeping for Apartments Residents dislike daily chores and only have access to bi-weekly deep cleaning services. Property managers lack truly useful, lifestyle-enhancing amenities to differentiate their buildings. Cleaners face unstable gig work—Faireez offers full-time partnerships, insurance, and steady assignments. Why Gig Economy Models Fail in Housekeeping Previous “Uber for cleaning” startups failed due to inconsistent quality and no recurring relationships. Faireez does the opposite: one assigned cleaner (“fairy”) per building, pricing per chore (not hour), and better-than-market pay. Building trust and consistency drives better service, community engagement, and resident satisfaction. AI and Tech Machine learning optimizes routing, scheduling, and dynamic pricing per city and chore type. Faireez is piloting video-based assessments where residents film their space and get an instant plan, quote, and cleanliness score. Their systems update pricing frequently to keep it affordable while maintaining operational efficiency. Best Properties for Hotel-Style Housekeeping Class A properties with 100+ units and a family-oriented resident base. Ideal for buildings seeking to add non-rent revenue and attract renters looking for lifestyle upgrades. Especially popular with families, busy professionals, and tech-savvy urban renters.

Summary:In this Coaches Roundtable Q&A episode, Chase and Chris dive into some really good listener questions. They start off by talking about how life gets really busy in the summer and why it's so hard for people to lean on support when they need it most. They explain that asking for help doesn't mean you're doing more—it can actually mean doing less and making things easier. They also answer a question about how to deal with shin pain when starting to jog and give some helpful stretches and tips. Finally, they discuss how to build a mindset that lets you do hard things, even if you struggle with being a perfectionist. You'll learn why doing your best—even if it isn't perfect—is what matters most.Chapters:(00:00) Why It's Hard to Ask for Help(02:00) Leaning Into Support Instead of Avoiding It(05:57) Less Can Be More: Scaling Back Goals(08:29) How Talking It Out Lifts the Weight(09:53) How to Take Action Even When Life Gets Messy(10:16) Q&A: How to Handle Shin Pain from Jogging(13:14) Q&A: Building an "I Can Do Hard Things" Mindset(16:41) Why Perfection Isn't the Goal(19:06) Focusing on Progress, Not Perfection(22:14) The Power of Steady Progress Over Burnout(24:12) Final Thoughts & Podcast UpdatesSUBMIT YOUR QUESTIONS to be answered on the show: https://forms.gle/B6bpTBDYnDcbUkeD7How to Connect with Us:Chase's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/changing_chase/Chris' Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/conquer_fitness2021/Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/665770984678334/Interested in 1:1 Coaching: https://conquerfitnessandnutrition.com/1on1-coachingJoin The Fit Fam Collective: https://conquerfitnessandnutrition.com/fit-fam-collective
