Although self-confidence can mean different things to different people, in reality, it simply means having faith in yourself. Self-confidence is not a static measure. Our confidence to perform roles and tasks and deal with situations can increase and decrease, and some days we may feel more confident than others. In this episode, hosts Kevin Palmieri and Alan Lazaros share ways that you can start building your confidence. Confidence is not something that can be learned like a set of rules; confidence is a state of mind. Confidence comes from feelings of well-being, acceptance of your body and mind, and belief in your own ability, skills, and experience. Being selfless means that you care about others as much or more as you care about yourself. It means that you feel their pain, share their struggles and go out of your way to be a positive force in your life. Sadly, being selfless also means you have to deal with many things that selfish people never even think of. Today hosts Kevin Palmieri and Alan Lazaros talk about some things that we see as negative but can be looked at as something good about us. Although helping others can benefit our health, happiness, and relationships, being too caring can sometimes have downsides. For example, especially selfless people may feel exploited in their interpersonal relationships or burned out in their jobs.Links mentioned:Next Level Live on April 1, 2023, will take your life to the next level: https://www.nextleveluniverse.com/next-level-live/Next Level U Book Club: https://www.nextleveluniverse.com/next-level-book-club/_______________________Website
The important things depend on your core values and context. Importance and urgency are relative. Without the full context, you will be unable to correctly assign importance and urgency. In today's episode, hosts Kevin Palmieri and Alan Lazaros talk about setting priorities based on importance and urgency. They also discuss the different factors that help you gauge value and opportunity cost. What was important to you 5 years ago may not be important to you now. It also depends on your self-belief because you may be doing things that are important to others but not important to you. If you are surrounded by supportive people, you will likely be more comfortable with putting what's important to you first before doing something to please others. Following the trend can be exciting and may feel like progress. It's true that there have been people who got their break and succeeded from trend hopping, but most of the time, they are the exception. In today's episode, hosts Kevin Palmieri and Alan Lazaros talk about the illusion of progress that holds back dream chasers. They highlight examples of the illusions of progress that people base their career or business decisions on. You have to look closer and be critical about measuring your progress. It might be a delusion, and your decision based on it may put you at risk.Link mentioned:Next Level Live on April 1, 2023, will take your life to the next level - https://www.nextleveluniverse.com/next-level-live/ Next Level Blog - https://www.nextleveluniverse.com/next-level-blog/ _______________________Website
Fear, just like love, is a powerful emotion. They can motivate us beyond what we believe is possible. Fear of losing health can drive us to exercise, eat nutritiously, or stop smoking. But fear has a flip side. It can freeze us in place and bind us to a mindset that steals our ability to live a fulfilling life. In this episode, hosts Kevin Palmieri and Alan Lazaros talk about fear and how our ability to overcome it depends on our courage to see through its lies. Hosts Kevin Palmieri and Alan Lazaros sit down with writer, podcaster, and recording artist Case Kenny. He talks about mindset and how shifting it can actually help your self-improvement. He also shares his own experiences as he went on his own journey of personal growth. This is a very special episode that many can relate to; imagine hearing someone like Case Kenny talk about confidence or the lack thereof. Case Kenny refers to himself as a "dudebroguy" because, as he says, he isn't "any more enlightened than the average person," but what he does have is a "hunger and drive to become the best person" he can be. That drive and passion for growth inspired him to start the New Mindset, Who Dis podcast in the summer of 2018. Almost two years later, 8 million downloads and honors as an Apple Podcast top 30 podcast, Top 100 Mental Health, iHeart Radio Top 10, Deezer Editor's Choice, and many more accolades, Case has made a name for himself as a prominent podcaster and mindfulness thought leader.Case's passion for growth and introspection grew in 2020 with the release of his music x mindfulness DJ collaborations. Case makes meditation more approachable and active by combining dance music and meditation. With this project, Case creates digestible guided meditation sessions set to uplifting dance music that leave listeners feeling energized and at peace. With the success of his podcast and writing, Case has taken everything he learned, pushing himself to be more driven, compassionate, and happy to create a different kind of journal. The journal is a reflection of his belief that to be happy and fulfilled in life, one shouldn't strive to be perfect. Instead, they should strive to be whole.Reach out to Case at:Website: https://newmindsetwhodis.com/Email: case@newmindsetwhodis.comIG: https://www.instagram.com/case.kenny/Listen to his podcast, New Mindset, Who Dis? at: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/new-mindset-who-dis/id1383599078What are you waiting for?

I podcastens afsluttende kommentar – På Falderebet – funderer Lasse Jensen over endnu et selvmål i valgkampen.

To pandaer er endelig landet i Københavns Zoologiske Have, men hvordan beskytter zoo dem egentlig fra vrede aktivister?
