På konstmuseet Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde i Stockholm är blommorna och trädgården en lika central del av upplevelsen som konsten. Det handlar om att förvalta ett blomstrande kulturarv. Lyssna på alla avsnitt i Sveriges Radios app. Floristen Kristina Öhman och trädgårdsmästaren Marina Rydberg är två blomsterproffs som förvaltar ett levande kulturarv. Tillsammans med kollegorna driver Marina Rydberg fram växter till museets alla krukor och vaser och blombord och i kylrummet väntar vårens tulpanlökar på att fylla trädgårdens rabatter. Närmare 30 000 lökar av olika slag driver de upp själva varje år. Och det är i den trädgårdsbesatte Prins Eugens anda alla arbetar, det finns dokumenterat vilka växter han föredrog. Många av de sorter man arbetar med är från första halvan av nittonhundratalet. Blomsterprakten är lika viktig som konsten i slottet som Ferdinand Boberg ritade till Prins Eugen 1905, och där prinsen bodde fram till sin död 1947. Reporter: Nina Asarnoj.

Cozi imense se înregistrează în jurul Catedralei din București, după slujba de sfințire de duminică. Zeci de mii de oameni așteaptă ore întregi, zi și noapte, pentru a intra în biserică. Nu lipsesc însă și falsurile, menite să producă diviziune în societate. Iată un caz de manual. Joi dimineața, o publicație, care altfel se pretinde respectabilă – și al cărei nume nu merită menționat, în context, pentru a nu-i face publicitate gratuită – vine cu o așa-zisă dezvăluire senzațională: ”Surpriza uriașă din Catedrala asediată. Enoriașii care au forțat intrarea au dat cu ochii de Ionuț Moșteanu și generalii săi, care se felicitau reciproc. Înăuntru era și Principele Radu”. Aceasta vine după ce, în dimineața de joi, în jurul orei 5.00, a avut loc o altercație între un grup de credincioși și forțele de ordine. Motivul: accesul prin intrarea principală a fost redirecționat, pentru un timp, pe o intrare secundară spre a se face curățenie. Citind știrea publicației care se pretinde respectabilă și cunoscând ceea ce se întâmplase în zori, ați fi fost tentați să credeți că, sub pretextul curățeniei, Catedrala ar fi fost rezervată ministrului Apărării și altor oficialități, în timp ce credincioșii erau ținuți afară - până când au forțat intrarea și i-au prins pe oficiali înăuntru. Cel puțin un lucru putea da de bănuit, de la bun început: că în filmările prezentate drept dovezi ceva nu erau în regulă: prin ferestrele Catedralei pătrundea, din plin, lumina soarelui. Deci nici gând să fi fost vorba de orele 5 ale dimineții când, se presupune, pelerinii ar fi dat buzna înăuntru, trecând peste forțele de ordine. De fapt, așa cum a precizat Biserica Ortodoxă Română într-un comunicat postat pe pagina Basilica.ro, accesul credincioșilor nu a fost întrerupt nici la 5 dimineața, nici la alte ore. Într-adevăr, după cum a precizat comunicatul, a avut loc un Tedeum între orele 8.00 și 8.30 , fiind celebrată, pentru prima dată, Ziua Clerului Militar.  În tot acest timp, accesul pelerinilor nu a fost oprit. Așa-zisa știre vine să provoace neîncredere și diviziune, după ce, de la festivitățile de duminică, pe rețelele sociale au apărut numeroase postări nemulțumite de faptul că oficialii statului au fost poftiți înăuntru la slujba de sfințire în timp ce zeci de mii de credincioși sunt nevoiți, iată, să aștepte, ore întregi, la cozi, pentru a vedea Catedrala. Acesta este un caz de manual. De manual rusesc, dacă vreți: se pleacă de la un fapt real, și anume că, într-adevăr, joi dimineața a avut loc o slujbă în Catedrală. De aici încolo, nicio legătură cu altercația petrecută cu trei ore mai devreme. Deci, nimeni nu a asediat nimic și nimeni nu a forțat nicio intrare. Cazul, însă, trebuie să le dea serios de gândit autorităților. Pentru că o asemenea tumbă informațională a fost posibilă pe fondul unei comunicări defectuoase a Bisericii Ortodoxe Române și a Ministerului Apărării Naționale, în egală măsură. Dacă evenimentul ar fi fost anunțat dinainte, marja de manevră a celor care pescuiesc în ape tulburi ar fi fost redusă considerabil, până la dispariție. Guest: Wilco Prins, co-founder T&C Surf Designs Europe, former Rip Curl Europe CEO and EuroSIMA President Wilco Prins is a pure product of Dutch youth who, much like all the other kids in Europe at that time, got into action sports in the 80's and 90's through windsurfing, skateboarding and eventually surfing. One fine day of 1992, his passion drove him all the way to French beaches, where he discovered our waves and the lifestyle he'd read about in surfing magazines. After starting out at Rip Curl as an intern (waxing boards for Patrick Beven for a photo shoot), he quickly climbed the corporate ladder: first as Footwear Product Manager for Europe, then Head of the « wetsuits and footwear » division, then « Core Division » Manager (products and sales) and in 2013, he became the company's CEO. At the head of one of the leading companies in the industry, the Dutchman also took over for Fred Basse as EuroSIMA President, becoming, for one term, the spokesperson for the entire European action sports industry. After the Torquay-born brand let him go in 2019, Wilco bounced right back, giving a « re-birth » in Europe to another iconic brand : T&C. This new adventure, both so similar and so different from the last one, was once again driven by the same passion for boardsports and a genuine knack for business. Relaunched post-Covid, the brand with a strong Hawaiian heritage has found itself a new place in retail as well as in the hearts of consumers. This is thanks to a strategy boosted among other things, by unique collaborations, like recently with Fursac. Wilco sat down with us for a chat to talk about his many years at Rip Curl and his new experience with T&C. “You can't reset the gold price. It's global. Professor Seil hopes we can increasingly pool real data to reform training, and embed prevention strategies from grass-roots to Olympic levels. “Coaches often don't realise the long-term damage until multiple players are injured. Data is how we change that.” Brains Behind the Brawn Professor Thorben Hülsdünker of LUNEX added another dimension with a focus on the connection of our body with our brain. He studies the neurophysiology of elite performance, from how athletes see and react, and how training can rewire the brain. “The brain is the next frontier of sports training,” he said. “Understanding it will define the next generation of champions.” Prof Hülsdünker knows that the best training targets both muscles and minds, combining sport science with neuroscience. AI Gets Personal PhD student AI-enhanced Cox Model blends machine learning with statistical models to predict runner injuries, and other medical issues, before they happen. “We're building tools that doctors and coaches can understand: simple, interpretable, but powerful enough to prevent injury.” Her AI-enhanced Cox Model is one of the standout presentations at MathSport 2025. From Pool to Policy Alwin de Prins, a three-time Olympic swimmer and now Director of LIHPS, reflects on what's changed since his competitive days: “I never had this level of support as an athlete. This week, the National Farmers Union brought farmer members from across the U.S. to Washington to amplify the need for a 5-year Farm Bill. Stephanie Hoff caught up with the President of the NFU, Rob Larew, and Wisconsin Farmers Union members. Larew says right now the volatility in the farm economy has him concerned. Larew is pushing for Congress to get a strong, five-year Farm Bill passed to provide some certainty for American farmers. This was the message echoed by Wisconsin Farmers Union. Government Relations Director Michelle Ramirez-White says the timing was perfect because Congress is marking up the Farm Bill during budget reconciliation. Rami Aburomia was among the delegation. He’s an apple grower outside of Madison. He recently joined Wisconsin Farmers Union to advocate for better safety nets for specialty crop growers. He believes that grain markets have been in a recession for a while. He's watching the 10 year bond as an indicator of where the market's going.While tariffs are what many are focused on, Wisconsin Ag Secretary, Randy Romanski, is working on keeping relationships in place. He explains that about a year ago the state invested in bringing trade partners from Indonesia to Wisconsin. Now, they've asked Wisconsin to visit them, and Romanski did! Jan Prins from EverAg joins Pam Jahnke. Prins grew up on a family dairy in Washington state. He says the market was surprised this week with huge sales of cheese to the export market.
