Quite Frankly Ep. 6: Vatican Power Plays, Trump's Trade Game & America's Political Theater

In this high-energy sixth episode of Quite Frankly, host Frankie Val takes listeners on a whirlwind tour through geopolitics, Catholic intrigue, and the collapsing credibility of the media and political establishment. He kicks off with personal stories from Liberation Day and family life before diving into an illuminating conversation with nutritionist Jay Gulanello and rancher Eric Perner on the life-saving potential of regenerative agriculture. Frankie then brings in polling expert Rich Barris for a deep-dive conversation that spans the papal election of Leo XIV, the weaponization of immigration by the Catholic Church, the captured U.S. Senate, and Trump's under-the-radar victories, like the UK trade deal and a seismic political grovel by new Canadian PM Mark Carney. The duo discusses GOP corruption, the rise of populism, the deep state's entrenchment, and why Trump's executive orders may be laying the groundwork for dismantling the bloated federal bureaucracy. The episode peaks with a gripping theological and political breakdown with Timothy Gordon, analyzing the selection of the new pope, Francis' court-packing strategy, the Lavender Mafia's influence, and whether the Vatican is being manipulated to fall in line with globalist aims. From Fatima to Windswept House to the legacy of Pope John Paul I, it's a firehose of Catholic lore, conspiracy, and sobering reality. Add in some wild sidebars on UFOs, secret societies, and prophetic Marian visions, and you've got a two-hour tour de force of unapologetic conversation, cultural reflection, and critical analysis you won't hear anywhere else. This is Quite Frankly at full throttle.

Archbishop Vigano has identified the root cause of the abuse crisis in the church to be a plague of homosexuality in the clergy and the hierarchy. This is not the first time the Church has been afflicted by the scourge of what His Grace calls a Lavender Mafia. An element of the wide corruption of the Church during the 11th century involved the sin of Sodom among clerics and in particular in monasteries. St. Peter Damian was a leading figure who fought to free the Church of this grave sin. Brian McCall and author Matthew Hoffman (who translated St. Peter Damian's work "The Book of Gomorrah") discuss the great saint and his successful plan to reform the Church of his day. His translation is available here https://www.amazon.com/Gomorrah-Damians-Struggle-Ecclesiastical-Corruption/dp/0996704205.

Interview with Kim Zember: A Sign of Contradiction to the LGBTQ Lobby

The LGBTQ lobby (or Lavender Mafia) both in the State and the Church tries to convince us that temptations to unnatural sexual acts and lifestyles are innate and normal tendencies that should be embraced not overcome. Turning truth on its head they argue that resisting such unnatural inclinations is unnatural and harmful. Their work over the past several decades has led to the social and legal acceptance of same sex "marriages" in the State and the toleration and even promotion of this intrinsic evil within the Church. Brian McCall speaks with Kim Zember, author of Restless Heart: My Struggle with Life and Sexuality, about her personal journey to overcome this lie. She shares how, notwithstanding her Catholic upbringing, she gave way to this temptation that was given to her. Sadly she shares how a Catholic priest encouraged this surrender to temptation rather than resistance. Thanks be to God her restless heart eventually found its way back to Catholic truth. The peace that she has found by converting from her former life--that was characterized by unhappiness and disturbance--is evident even in this short conversation. Her story is a sign of contradiction and a stumbling block to the LGBTQ lobby. Due to the subject matter of this interview it is not appropriate for younger audiences. Her book can be found here https://www.sophiainstitute.com/products/item/restless-heart

Underground LGBT Networks in Evangelical Institutions

Today's show begins with Chris's memories of three LGBT networks that existed in evangelical institutions. These are not hearsay stories, the people involved remain nameless, but Chris knew them personally. Most troubling was the way these networks recruited new members and initiated them. In each case theology was twisted to provide justification for what was occurring. The stories provide a basis for considering what is known as the "Lavender Mafia" in the Roman Catholic Church. For those unfamiliar with the term, "Lavender Mafia" is the name used by socially conservative Roman Catholics for a network of homosexual priests that many people believe exists in the Roman Catholic Church. Chris then wonders aloud, "Is it unreasonable to suspect that something similar may exist in some places among evangelical clergy?" This is a free-ranging discussion that includes reflections on some of the theological trends within evangelicalism and how those trends may serve these networks. As a bonus--this show is the first one recorded on the new recording equipment. The guys are still learning how to use it, so hopefully the sound quality will improve with each episode going forward. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-theology-pugcast/support
