Guest: Stephanie Piko Mayor, City of Centennial and of President Centennial Arts and Cultural Foundation and Libby Swenson Regional Director of Donor Engagement Love Justice is an anti-human trafficking organization. Human trafficking is a crime that involves compelling or coercing a person into labor or services or to engage in commercial sex acts. This can be emotional or physical. It is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world today. Love Justice works in places of transit such as bus or train stations and even the airports to identify and stop trafficking as it is occurring. The Centennial Arts and Cultural Foundation works out of The Village Workspace, as does Love Justice. They have been working together on a couple projects and it was a natural fit. They are working together to bring attention to the public the work of art that has been on display at The Village Workspace. On February 21st at the Village Workspace will be an event that will showcase works of art that were commissioned to support Love Justice by the Freedom 58 Project. Local artist created artistic renditions of stories from people who were saved from human trafficking situations. There will be over 120 pieces of art on display. The event will not only show the art but people will also hear from Love Justice, The District Attorney’s office, and Sherifs’ office to hear about the human trafficking impact in Centennial. The event is free to the public. http://centennial-art.org

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month.“There are plenty of awareness months and days dedicated to various causes. Some get a lot of attention; some pass by relatively unnoticed. People in slavery deserve attention. They deserve to have a voice. And you have a powerful one through your social media.” Paula Cornell - Love JusticeThis quote was from a recent blog post on the Love Justice website, where you can read stories of real people whose monitors prevented them from completing their slavery journey. It is estimated that 50 million people are trapped in slavery today. Most often, this happens when people are offered an opportunity they can't refuse. In this episode, I will talk to Briony Fickling, who works for Love Justice as Regional Steward for Southern African countries. She will share her journey working with Love Justice as they work to: Step in during critical moments between freedom and slavery.Prevent the next victim from being trafficked Put Traffickers in jailShare the love & hope of JesusTo learn more about Love Justice International and Human Trafficking, you can go to LoveJustice.ngo
Over 50 million people are trapped in the world of human trafficking, and today's guest is doing something about it. Ryan Sobey is the VP of Anti-trafficking at Love Justice International, an organization that has helped over 34,000 people worldwide escape human trafficking, find freedom, and reconnect with loved ones. They're a testament to the fact that with the right people and mindset, any organization can be financially successful while also providing value to society. Love Justice currently operates in 22 countries, and Ryan has been an integral part of the efforts that helped them contribute to over 1,200 arrests worldwide with an over 35% conviction rate. While Ryan and his team are on the front lines stopping vulnerable people from becoming victims, they also help traffickers find a better life for themselves, stop trafficking and deter others from following their path. In today's conversation, we discuss why real human trafficking is much more brutal than what we see in the movies, Love Justice's scalable business model that they're helping other human rights organizations replicate, and the importance of using your passion for being of service to others.Free GiftRyan's team put together an eye-opening report titled, The Truth Behind Human Trafficking: 10 Common Myths Debunked. AmiSights: Financing the Future For Small Business Owners and Entrepreneurs
On this interview, Ami Kassar interviews Justin Donald, Lifestyle Investor® and Entrepreneur, on what lifestyle investing mean and why is it important in an inflationary world. Entrepreneur Magazine calls Justin Donald the “Warren Buffett of Lifestyle Investing.” He's a master of low-risk cash flow investing, specializing in simplifying complex financial strategies, structuring deals, and disciplined investment systems that consistently produce profitable results. His ethos is to “create wealth without creating a job.” In the span of 21 months, and before his 37th birthday, Justin's investments drove enough passive income for both he and his wife Jennifer to leave their jobs. Following his simple investment system and 10 Commandments of Lifestyle Investing, Justin negotiated deals with over 100 companies, multiplied his net worth to over eight figures, and maintained a family-centric lifestyle in less than 2 years. Just 2 years later, he doubled his net worth again. He now consults and advises entrepreneurs, executives, and successful media personalities on lifestyle investing. Justin has also appeared on nearly 100 podcasts, including Entrepreneurs on Fire, The Mike Dillard Show, Making Bank, Achieve Your Goals, Capability Amplifier, Tractionville, Inside Personal Growth, Conscious Millionaire, Franchise Secrets, the Accelerated Investor, and Unbecoming. What assets you can consider investing in now besides real estate and land. Why cash flow is king and it doesn't matter at all if you're a millionaire. Jordan Peterson Power Quotes From The Show What Being 'Wealthy' Really Means "I see wealth in a different way and for most people when they hear the word, 'wealthy,' they think about money. Money is a component of being wealthy but it's much greater than that. I know a lot of people who have money but their physical health is horrible and they can't really do a lot; they're on a trajectory that's going to be a short life. Or they have bad relationships with the people that they love the most because they prioritize work or money over those connections. To me, that's just being out of alignment. It's incongruent with who I am and what I want out of life if other areas aren't doing well. So, to be a Lifestyle Investor is to put your life and your values first and live in accordance with them." - Justin Donald The Benefits of Financial Discipline "The discipline of saving and investing money in itself is going to be a fruitful return. So, even if it's not yielding a lot in the moment - if you can put money aside that you don't spend today that can earn you money tomorrow, that in itself is going to set people up for a lot of success. It sets them up for a lot of success because most likely people are going to make more money every year. At some point, people might have a big jump but over time most people are going to continue to make a little more. Any way you strike it, having some sort of discipline in saving money is great." - Justin Donald Healing Your Money Wound(s) "The beliefs that people have around money are going to most certainly impact their ability to build their financial wealth. In my own experience and those in my network, many people's beliefs around money and saving are borrowed from someone else such as a parent or caregiver because they projected a certain idea and then that was implanted as a fact in someone's mind instead of doing their own homework or coming up with their own beliefs. Often if those beliefs are disempowering then self-sabotage ultimately kicks in. I know a lot of people who have a hard time keeping money and building wealth because of their mindset and beliefs around it but one shift in mindset will change the game." - Justin Donald Links From Today's Show The Lifestyle Investor Masterclass Become a LIFESTYLE INVESTOR TODAY! Their 100% Grass Fed Beef Sticks are unlike anything else on the market. In fact, they were recently voted in Paleo Magazine as one of the top snacks of the year. The reason is that they are committed to making the highest quality, clean products that are free from problematic ingredients. Their beef comes from 100% grass fed cows raised entirely on natural grass pastures by family farmers right here in the USA. As a result they are healthy and happy. PaleoValley's Pasture-Raised Turkey Sticks Paleovalley Pasture-Raised Turkey Sticks were created to make healthy snacking easier. Their turkey sticks are made from turkeys who are allowed to live as nature intended... on organic grass pastures with plenty of sunshine, fresh air and room to exercise. The result of raising turkeys in such a natural way is a much healthier, clean protein with higher levels of vitamins, minerals, and omega-3s. Unfortunately, virtually all turkey in the USA is conventionally raised with a small portion being "free range" – a virtually meaningless term that simply means the turkeys were allowed access to the outdoors. However, most "free range" turkeys only have access to an outdoor dirt field with no pasture in sight. Their truly pasture-raised turkeys are given full access to outdoor, pesticide-free pasture with plenty of grass and insects for them to nibble on.

In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, we have an incredible guest, Justin Donald who imparts amazing insights on the importance of building relationships versus any material things, cash flow investing and passive income, few tips on investing places that people should be careful of, type of companies that Justin is investing in, and why investing in yourself is essential! Justin is an entrepreneur, consultant, and adviser for entrepreneurs, executives, and successful media personalities on lifestyle investing, a member of Tiger 21, a board member of Front Row Foundation International, principal owner at MHP Equity Group, co-founder at IFM Restoration, and founder at Lifestyle Investor, a company that helps clients build a cashflow-driven lifestyle investor portfolio through a customized mentorship and advisory program. He has negotiated deals with over 100 companies, multiplied his net worth to over eight figures, and maintained a family-centric lifestyle. His ethos is to “create wealth without creating a job.” Entrepreneur Magazine calls him the “Warren Buffett of Lifestyle Investing.” Host of The Lifestyle Investor podcast and author of the best-selling book, “The Lifestyle Investor: The 10 Commandments of Cash Flow Investing for Passive Income and Financial Freedom”. All proceeds from the book go to Love Justice International, a nonprofit fighting human trafficking in 17 countries. It was in his late 20s when he first built his real estate company specializing in mobile home parks. Justin has invested heavily in real estate and owns several profitable real estate-related businesses, has a large portfolio of multifamily rentals, and several other successful operating companies. Justin feels very blessed with having a fruitful season for the assets that he purchased over the years. Aside from that, he is a relationship guy by default. For him, wealth stands weigh beyond money. He curated an amazing network of friends. He is blessed by his community, friends, and family. Thus, he always wanted to pour back into the people again. Being a student of anything and everything, he constantly finds things to learn, and always wanted to share them to others. On the other hand, Justin emphasizes that entrepreneurs should not be a slave of the business and should not be working more for your wanted lifestyle. Instead, letting the business work for you and provide it. Also, he believes that you don't need to have a great net worth to have a really good cash flow. Your lifestyle should not be tied to the cash flow and your net worth because net worth is a deceiving number! Some Questions I Ask: How the heck are you doing?
