Chaos at the border. The left has blamed Donald Trump for kids in cages, which was all the Obama Administration's brainy idea. Under the Biden Administration, we now see thousands of illegals in so-called cages or cellophane wrap in some cases... and they are still coming thanks to the invite from Joe Biden. They're not vaccinated; they're not accompanied by adults in many cases. In reality, this is nothing more than a nonsecure entryway into America for illegals and criminals alike... all under the control of a president that doesn't even know what day it is. QUOTES 05:23 "Every single one of these heartbreaking communications ended with the same thing: I feel abandoned. I feel alone. I feel forgotten. And I looked for a national resource and there wasn't one, and so as a result, The Wounded Blue was born." 08:46 "Post-traumatic stress is as real as a bullet. And many many many departments still refuse to recognize that that's even an injury. It's really shocking." 12:06 "We call it our SEAL approach: Support, Education, Assistance, and Legislation. But I gotta tell you, we're fighting a really uphill battle." 16:37 "We call it the K-9 Companion Program and we've given a number of these dogs to injured and disabled officers. And I gotta tell you, I have one guy contact me said, you saved my life with this dog. I was so alone. I was so lonely." 18:26 "Our allegiance is to no administrations. Our only allegiance is to the men and women that contact us or we contact because we reach out a lot, and say you know what, you're not alone in this fight. You got somebody watching your six." ----------------------------- SUMMARY In this episode of the National Police Association Podcast, Sgt. Betsy Smith interviews Lt. Randy Sutton (Ret) host of Blue Lives Radio and founder of the Wounded Blue Foundation. The heartbreaking reality is that many cops who almost sacrifice their lives in the line of duty are not taken care of by their departments. The world's two largest economies are in a battle for world domination. On Friday, China unveiled a new round of tariffs on about $75 billion worth of U.S. goods, this is the latest escalation in the on-going trade war. In response, Trump wrote on Twitter later Friday: "Our great American companies are hereby ordered to immediately start looking for an alternative to China including bringing ...your companies HOME and making your products in the USA." Does the president have the right to "order" U.S. companies to stop doing business with China? Does the USMCA between Canada and Mexico get ratified? The good news is the trade deal with Japan that came out of the G7. Dragon Politics are the lead story. This episode is one of our most important because it talks about how an offensive amount of our first responders are literally being left out in the financial cold after being injured and not supported by their respective departments. You'll learn: Do new Officers, Firefighters and EMTs know the benefits they are entitled to in the event of an injury on the job? What solutions can be put in place short term to educate law makers about our plight? What does it mean when Wounded Blue says "Never Forgotten, Never Alone?" The State of Law Enforcement - Law enforcement officers are harshly criticized by media talking heads and political elites right at the moment of the incident⏤even before they know the facts, they are running with the story. It can be a made up story of police brutality, racism, hands-up don't shoot, or some other falsehood. Last year almost 700,000 physical attacks on police officers occurred. Police assassinations; officers being ambushed have become all too common. PTSD and suicides are another growing problem in the industry. Police officers are asked to do more than just enforce the law, they are the psychologist, mediators, negotiators and the protectors. How has policing changed over the years & why? What are the rules of engagement? Sanctuary cities, illegals, homeless, drugs⏤what is their impact on policing? What is the future of law enforcement in the United States? Dave Smith is the most recognized police trainer and author in the industry today, he uses his alter-ego "JD Buck Savage" to train officers. Dr Ron Martinelli, is a retired police detective with a background in investigations, forensics, violent crimes and death scene investigations. Sgt. Betsy Smith a Police Officer for 29 years, a law enforcement trainer for over 20 years, and author. Lt Randy Sutton is a 34 year Law Enforcement veteran retired from the LVPD. They may fail to pay the medical bills, approve needed treatment or surgeries and they may reduce pay and fail to even recognize that Post Traumatic Stress Injury is very real and can be debilitating. That is why THE WOUNDED BLUE was created; to help injured law enforcement, build and administer an Emergency Financial Aid Fund, create a system of effective and caring Peer Support, be a resource for competent and effective legal council and advocate for stronger laws and protection for the American Law Enforcement Officer. Lt Randy Sutton is Founder of The Wounded Blue, and the Director Retired Police Sgt Jason Harney.
https://thewoundedblue.org - THE WOUNDED BLUE FOUNDATION - AN ORGANIZATION FOR INJURED AND DISABLED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS Each year, approximately 57,000 Law Enforcement Officers are assaulted in the line of duty and almost 30,000 lose time from work due to Line of Duty injuries. The severity of these injuries range from complaints of pain to permanent disabling injuries, many requiring extensive medical attention. In addition to the visible injuries, emotional and psychological trauma also affect an untold number of Law Enforcement Officers, often leading to Post Traumatic Stress Injury. The Wounded Blue was created to help injured law enforcement, build and administer an Emergency Financial Aid Fund, create a system of effective and caring Peer Support, be a resource for competent and effective legal council and advocate for stronger laws and protection for the American Law Enforcement Officer. The mission of The Wounded Blue is to: - Provide trained and caring Peer Support to injured and disabled officers and their families - Assist Law Enforcement Officers who are injured physically and psychologically to obtain the treatment and medical/financial benefits they are entitled to when they suffer line of duty injuries - Provide financial assistance as needed on a temporary basis - Advocate for stronger protections under state and federal law - Provide emergency funds to injured officers when circumstances dictate the need - Advocate for the positive public perception of law enforcement http://thewoundedblue.org ---- Ray Dietrich, 20 year law enforcement vet and former Sheriff's Sergeant, gets real about today law enforcement (and just a bit of politics) Connect with Ray & the Thin Blue Line Show, and our massive support police communities Here: https://thinbluelineshow.com

Blue Lives Matter spokesman (ret.) Lt. Randy Sutton joined Angie and Mike to talk about the most unreported story of the week -- the attacks on police officers happening all over the country. Sutton also shared the tragic and shocking story of an 18-year police veteran who committed suicide. The Dallas County sheriff denied the late deputy a funeral with a police honor guard. Angie and Mike were not happy. To hear from Angie and Mike, listen here any time, any day. http://www.gcnlive.com/JW1D/index.php/onair?type=onDem&show=323
The madman was virtually invisible and digitally unknown. A deranged individual with no apparent motive, a heart of stone, and a brain that was corrupt and corroded at the core. There is a special place in hell with eternal and massive suffering where Stephen Paddock will join the likes of previous twisted and satanic lunatics. The human suffering and carnage is unthinkable. The pain and uncontrollable desire to be united with lost family members. Lives that were cut short in the blink of an eye. A scene that was all to surreal. This madman terrorist opened fire with a steady stream of bullets on an outdoor festival that turned laughter and love into our worst nightmare. The deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. Yet none of this truly defined that moment. This moment in time is defined by real heroes. People helping people. Strangers who became instant friends. People unknown, but placed there by the hand of God - to help thy fellow man. The President summed it up beautifully "When the worst of humanity strikes, the best of humanity responds." There are many many unanswered questions. Was this just a matter of time? Did Las Vegas see this coming? Do experts think GUN CONTROL will change some of these outcomes? What could a possible motive be? What type of people commit these type of mass shooting crimes? Does the media coverage help or hurt a tragedy such as this? After 9/11, airport safety changed dramatically - will hotel security change after this tragedy? I have turned to three incredibly talented experts for answers.
