Welcome to episode 50 of LFTR where we discuss the singular joy that is a mountain road, and some of our favorite mountain roads from our travels. In 1993, Nintendo ran a Legend of Zelda comic, in 12 parts, in Nintendo Power Magazine. The comic was amazing. Not only was it a way for us to experience the 16 bit exploits of Link without bothering our parents for a new cartridge, it expanded on the lore for existing LttP pros. It's classic, cheesy, and perfect for a dumb idea.In this episode, Blue, Ryan and Donnie join me in an unrehearsed, unplanned live table read of the first three chapters of this super 90's comic. What follows is a bizarre experiment that I think largely works thanks to these supremely talented (and silly) individuals.Read along with us at http://www.zeldalegends.net/files/other/comics/alttp/l_zelda_comic.pdfTo listen to Gamers Week, check out @GamersWeekPC on Twitter. My Twitter: @agamerlooksat40My Facebook: facebook.com/agamerlooksat40My Insta: @agamerlooksat40My Patreon: patreon.com/agamerlooksat40My Email: agamerlooksat40@gmail.comMy Phone Number: Ehhhhh, not gonna happen. :-DSupport the show

Todd VanHooserCreator of Laughing Moon Productions http://www.toddvanhooser.com/ I am an Arizona-based author with Midwestern roots. In addition to being a writer I have also designed Adventures Under the Laughing Moon—a tabletop role-playing game based on my fantasy series and set in the world of Mythren. This is a world I have been developing for more than twenty years with rich characters, compelling conflicts and a long history with many footprints in the sand. Over the years, this series has expanded to include novels, short stories, comic books, and original character and creature designs showcased at pop culture and comic conventions. I love the interactive and creative atmosphere of tabletop game play, and I thoroughly enjoy seeing these characters and creatures brought to life through photography and cosplay. My latest project is a tabletop RPG called Wheelhouse. This game offers both new and veteran players a glimpse into the apocalyptic future of the Laughing Moon world and provides a whole new context for storytelling and adventures. Episode 43 is here! Once again, we talk about Assassin's Creed (it's what we do) and the announcement of the Ezio Collection and what we would want from an Assassin's Creed (the first one) remastered release. Then it's onto Yoshi's Island, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, and No Man's Sky. We sidebar into a discussion about the PlayStation 4 Pro and the Xbox Scorpio and if 4K gaming really matters.
