The subject before us is one that needs stressing in these days. The great majority of our pulpits are silent upon it, and the fact that it has so little place in modern preaching is one of the signs of the times, one of the many evidences that the Apostasy must be near at hand. It is true that there are not a few who are praying for a world-wideRevival, but it appears to the writer that it would be more timely, and more scriptural, for prayer to be made to the Lord of the harvest, that He would raise up and thrust forth laborers who would fearlessly and faithfully preach those truths which are calculated to bring about a revival.

This bible study centers on the nature of hope and the certainty of eternal life within a Christian framework. Pastor Anthony Uvenio dives into biblical the interpretations of "eternal life," debating whether it signifies literal, unending duration or a state of blessedness. Key scriptures (John 6, John 10:28, Titus, Hebrews 6, 2 Corinthians 1, Matthew 25, Jude 7, Revelation 14) are examined to support the concept of an eternally secure salvation, contrasting God's unwavering truthfulness with the deceptive nature of false gods. The study also touches upon the relationship between faith, good works, and the role of the Holy Spirit, ultimately emphasizing the unwavering nature of God's promises and the importance of a worldview grounded in God's truthful revelation. Pastor Anthony contrasts the Christian worldview with other belief systems, highlighting the internal coherence of Christian scripture and the implications of a God who cannot lie.#eternallife #christianhope #salvationbygrace #theology #biblestudy #reformedtheology #godspromises #hope #faith #eternalsecurity #eternal #salvationthroughchrist #hopeinchrist #biblicalhope 00:00 - Obedience, Good Works, and Hope04:05 - God's Promises & Eternal Life11:18 - Defining "Eternal" in Scripture15:18 - Eternal Punishment & Sin's Severity18:58 - Eternal Life & God's Grace22:26 - Eternal Life: State vs. Time25:51 - God's Promises & Cretan Culture29:13 - God, Truth, and Deception33:18 - Quranic Deception & Divine TruthPodcast: www.ReformedRookie.comPodcast: https://anchor.fm/reformedrookieFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheReformedRookie Twitter: https://twitter.com/NYapologistSemper Reformanda!

A new MP3 sermon from Christ Church Presbyterian is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: What Is the Eternal Punishment for Sin? | March 6 Subtitle: Strength for Today Speaker: John Blevins III Broadcaster: Christ Church Presbyterian Event: Devotional Date: 3/6/2025 Bible: 2 Thessalonians 1:5-12 Length: 10 min.
In a book about hope, why would the first subject be God's judgment in sending people to hell? In this text we learn about evidence of God's righteous judgments that will bring hope to every believer.
The church at Thessalonica was freaked out about the end of days. They were uninformed about both the return of Jesus and what happens at death. In this short section Paul brilliantly clarifies these questions to encourage the church.
Send us a textIs the comforting notion of universal salvation merely a soothing myth that leads many astray? We challenge this controversial belief and assert the seriousness of eternal punishment as described in Christian doctrine. Our latest episode focuses on the critical need to understand what salvation truly means and why dismissing the idea of hell as eternal punishment can have perilous spiritual consequences. By examining particular redemption and the stark warnings given by Jesus Christ, we explore why fearing divine judgment is necessary for spiritual security.Join us as we explore Jesus' teachings in the New Testament, particularly from Luke 12:4-5, emphasizing the importance of spiritual vigilance. Jesus warns us about the fear we should have for God, who holds ultimate power over our souls beyond physical harm. We confront the notion of universal salvation, urging listeners to consider the gravity of ignoring these warnings and the eternal consequences of such neglect. This discussion underlines the importance of preparing oneself spiritually and living in submission to God to avoid the dire fate of eternal damnation. In our conclusion, we underscore the urgency of evangelism and the necessity of understanding the sacrificial significance of Christ's blood as the sole means of purging sin. We scrutinize the universalist perspective that views hell as mere purification, refocusing on traditional Christian views of hell as eternal penal retribution. Through scriptural references, we call upon Christians to defend their faith and share these critical truths to prevent eternal condemnation. This episode stands as a compelling invitation to probe deeper into one's faith, ensuring that beliefs are firmly rooted in the gospel's truth.Support the show
Too many Catholics avoid utilizing the spiritual benefits of indulgences either because they do not fully understand them, think they are no longer a teaching of the Church, or that they overcomplicate our faith lives. Let us endeavor to change this and gain access to a veritable well of grace.

Eternal Punishment for Sin, Romans 6:23
Tonight, Co-Hosts JD Williams and David Paxton discuss the "End of the Age". Not the End of the World, but instead the last opportunity for many to escape Eternal Punishment. The End of the Age is spoken of throughout the Bible. With many incorrectly believing Matthew 24 depicts the Rapture of the Church following the Great Tribulation. While in FACT, Matthew 24 speaks NOT of the Christian Church, but the Jews and Israel AFTER the Rapture. JD Williams is a Member of the US Press Association, with full protection from Censorship under the Constitution of the United Sates as a Member of the Free Press. Also also remember, just as the Bible said would happen. The World is turning its attention toward Israel for what will usher in the Gog Magog War, the Rapture of the Church, the Great 7 Year Tribulation and the Second Coming of Christ. And finally, PLEASE NOTE: All opinions expressed are those of the Hosts & Guests of the "Last Christian" and not necessarily those of the KRRB Revelation Radio, Corporation. Gen. 19:23–29 Isa. 66:15–24 Matt. 11:20–24 Rev. 21:5–8 The late J. I. Packer wrote 50 years ago, “The fact is that the subject of divine wrath has become taboo in modern society, and Christians by and large have accepted the taboo and conditioned themselves never to raise the matter." If that was 50 years ago, the situation has only gotten worse. Given that the Bible speaks about God's wrath frequently and that we say that we love and believe the Bible, then we must embrace this teaching. Otherwise, we not only make ourselves out to be liars, but we rob Christ of His victory—for, what he suffered was nothing less than the fury of God's wrath against sin.

This episode invites you to journey into the detailed concept of God's judgment, the Lamb's Book of Life, and the eternal implications of our actions. We explore the profound gravity of sins unchecked by faith in Jesus and the metaphorical 'paycheck' we receive at the end of life.
