Whilst containing some underground vibes, the music opens up to the listener through clever arrangements, catchy hooks and expressive melodies. The 10 tracks of the album spread over different genres of electronic music, from dance/drum and bass to breaks and even hiphop, partially contain guest vocals, and thereby take the listener on an adventurous journey. The man behind the music is the Austrian producer and keyboarder Ulrich Schwab. Inspired by a multitude of artists and genres – from Pendulum to the gritty soundscapes of Massive Attack, from Jungle to Dubstep – he developed a style rich in diversity, that is meant to represent a contrast to the „uniformity“ that's notable in some of today's electronic music. The new single „Rain“ (Release: 06.12. 2024) is a high-energy future rave track that combines infectious 4-to-the-floor beats, powerful synths and the striking vocals of Julia Ivanova. The recently released synthwave-inspired single “Pico” takes a nostalgic trip into the retro-futuristic soundscape of the 80s — blending vintage textures with modern production and storytelling. “Pico” is another glimpse into the sonic variety of the upcoming third album . Der Südtiroler hatte mit 16 Jahren in Bars erste öffentliche Auftritte als Solokünstler mit Coversongs. Nach einem Intermezzo in der Trash Metal-Szene begann Dominik um die Jahrtausendwende, eigene Songs zu schreiben, die er gemeinsam mit Philipp Makolies (später Gitarrist bei Polarkreis 18) im Wohnzimmer aufnahm. Einem breiten Publikum wird Plangger 2009 durch Auftritte bei den Songs an einem Sommerabend und die Zusammenarbeit mit Konstantin Wecker bekannt.
