Listen to the triumphant adventures of Stigveld, T'Reble O'Clef, Calbo Greymerkin & Capri Smitty as they explore the world of Erethria in search of fame, fortune and a nice tankard of ale. --- The Fifth Element[b] is a 1997 English-language French science fiction action film conceived and directed by Luc Besson, as well as co-written by Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. It stars Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman, and Milla Jovovich. Primarily set in the 23rd century, the film's central plot involves the survival of planet Earth, which becomes the responsibility of Korben Dallas (Willis), a taxicab driver and former special forces major, after a young woman (Jovovich) falls into his cab. To accomplish this, Dallas joins forces with her to recover four mystical stones essential for the defence of Earth against the impending attack of a malevolent cosmic entity.  Besson started writing the story that was developed as The Fifth Element when he was 16 years old; he was 38 when the film opened in cinemas. Besson wanted to shoot the film in France, but suitable facilities could not be found; filming took place in London and Mauritania instead. He hired comic artists Jean "Moebius" Giraud and Jean-Claude Mézières, whose books inspired parts of the film, for production design. Costume design was by Jean-Paul Gaultier.  The Fifth Element received mainly positive reviews, although some critics were highly negative. The film won in categories at the British Academy Film Awards, the César Awards, the Cannes Film Festival, and the Lumières Awards, but also received nominations at the Golden Raspberry and Stinkers Bad Movie Awards. The Fifth Element was a strong financial success, earning more than US$263 million at the box office on a $90 million budget. At the time of its release, it was the most expensive European film ever made, and it remained the highest-grossing French film at the international box office until the release of The Intouchables in 2011.

The AARPG is an adults only actual-play podcast full of violence, bad language, and questionable behavior. This was the first of many films that Segal has filmed with former SNL castmates. It tells the story of a socially and emotionally immature man (Farley) who learns lessons about friendship and self-worth, following the sudden death of his industrialist father. The film was shot primarily in Toronto and Los Angeles under the working title "Rocky Road". Tommy Boy grossed $32.7 million on a budget of $20 million. The film received mixed reviews from critics.[3] Since its release, Tommy Boy has become a cult classic and been successful on home video.[4][5] Tommy Boy and the 1994 horror film Wes Craven's New Nightmare are dedicated to Gregg Fonseca (1952–1994), who died eight months before the release of Tommy Boy. While Fonseca did not work on either film, he served as production designer on the first two Nightmare on Elm Street films, as well as Coneheads and both Wayne's World films which, like Tommy Boy, were produced by Lorne Michaels.

Still … Steve has never let the truth get in the way of him bringing up Bombalurina's classic Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini before and he's not about to start now (Patreons, expect a Classic Album on Bombalurina's seminal masterpiece Huggin' An'a Kissin' imminently). We also discuss the brief internet shitstorm that's surrounded Jacob Bannon's iconic Jane Doe artwork for the utterly sublime Converge album of the same name but rather than simply pretend we're experts in the field of copyright and trademark like seemingly every other twazzock on the internet, we've consulted a real IP lawyer who actually knows what they're talking about. In a shocking turn of events, it turns out that most people commenting on said story don't have a clue what they're talking about. Speaking of people on the internet who don't have a clue what they're talking about, Pitchfork have 're-appraised' some records they reviewed in the past ... except they haven't. They've simply got other people to appraise them who think different things to the people who initially appraised them, which feels like a colossal waste of everybody's time.
