Zwischen Midlife-Crisis & Gainsbourg-Streicher: Father John Misty hat seinen Status als Super-Darling des Feuilletons verloren. Etwas, das seinem sechsten Studioalbum verdammt gut tut. «Mahashmashana» klingt nämlich tatsächlich so, als ob sich Josh Tillman, der seit 2012 Musik unter diesem Namen veröffentlicht, hier weniger auf Biegen und Brechen ein Meisterwerk abliefern zu müssen. Und auch im Gespräch mit Sounds!-Redaktor Claudio Landolt hinterliess er einen ähnlich unverkrampften Eindruck. Trotzdem: Seine Musik bleibt überbordend-verrückt. Alleine schon das Titelstück mit seinen schwülstigen Strings und der Spielzeit von fast 10 Minuten... wo FJM draufsteht, ist auch weiterhin FJM drin. Martina Barakoska is a drummer and musician who in her considerably short career has gained notable achievements. Deep and thoughtful yet energetic and playful, her style reflects her love of modern music and her fascination with the power of the drums. Throughout the years, she has maintained continuous growth of success preaching individuality, quality, and persistency.Winning an award for the best drummer at “T'k Tak” drum competition when she was only 17 was followed by many successful music projects. She is actively involved in North Macedonia's music scene, currently working and touring with Funk Shui. She's also worked with artists like Swindle, Emmy Meli, Luboyna, Vladimir Chetkar, MPNG, Efterklang, Duper, Luboyna, Vladimir Chetkar, etc. Her projects have taken her on tours across Europe and the Balkans.In 2022 she released her second solo album named "Sunrise” and took part in the “Yamaha Drum Days” Festival in Paris. She was also a part of the line-up at the workshops in Salzgitter Drum Meeting 2022, Berlin Drum Days 2023 and Dresden Drum and Bass Festival 2024. I 2007 efterlod Rune bandet Efterklang og blev en del af mormonkirken. Nu er han ude af kirken igen, men hans oplevelser og rejse gennem kirken har sat stort præg på Efterklangs nye album 'Things We Have In Common', der udkom fredag d. 27. september. Vi får besøg af Rune og medlem af Efterklang Casper Clausen, til en snak om, hvordan lyden af mormonkirken er blevet en del af albummet. Det Kongelige Teaters Balletskole dropper de 5 første klassetrin af deres mere end 250 år gamle uddannelse og afskaffer de berygtede stopprøve eksaminer. Ændringerne kommer efter Politikens afsløringer om dårlige psykiske og fysiske forhold på skolen. Politikens journalist Ida Herskind kommer i studiet og fortæller om sagen. Für den Songschreiber und Pianisten Rune Mølgaard, der sich in dieser Zeit den Mormonen anschloss, war Tour, Band, Kinder und Religion zu viel, um unter einen Hut zu bringen. Rune verliess 2007 die Band und ist nun - 17 Jahre später - endlich wieder zurück. «Things We Have in Common» ist das erste Album in Efterklangs Originalbesetzung seit vielen Jahren. Mølgaards Rückkehr zu seinen Jugendfreunden und zur Band, wie auch sein Austritt aus der LDS-Kirche beschäftigte die Dänen auf ihrem achten Album. Diese Woche ist «Things We Have in Common» das neue Sounds! Album der Woche. Wir sprachen mit Frontmann Casper Clausen über die 20-jährige Bandgeschichte, das Album und auch - psst - über ihr anstehendes Showcase bei SRF 3. Bulgaria va avea o recoltă de grâu peste așteptări – 6 milioane de tone, adică 500 de kilograme la hectar, anunță ministrul agriculturii de la Sofia. Acesta asigură populația că prețul la pâine nu va crește și speră că nici cotele de import din Ucraina să nu se modifice.  Campania de recoltare a grâului în Bulgaria a fost lansată de ministrul Agriculturii, Georgi Tahov, sub sloganul „Pâinea Păcii,” în regiunea Plovdiv, relatează bntnews.bg.  Oficialul bulgar asigură populația că nu va exista o creștere a prețului la pâine având în vedere recolta de grâu prognozată pentru 2024 și anume 6 milioane de tone, aproximativ 500 kg/ha. Ministrul Tahov a adăugat că Bulgaria continuă să joace un rol important pe piața internațională a cerealelor, exportând grâu în peste 30 de țări. În ceea ce privește cotele de import de cereale din Ucraina, el și-a exprimat speranța că acestea vor fi păstrate. „Sper că vom primi răspunsul la această întrebare la următorul Consiliu al Miniștrilor Agriculturii de la Bruxelles”, a adăugat ministrul din Bulgaria.Edi Rama: până în 2030 Albania va fi Europa BalcanilorPrim-ministrul Edi Rama prezice că până în 2030 Albania va fi „Europa Balcanilor” cu o ofertă turistică completă și de calitate, citim pe site-ul top-channel.tv.Noul sezon estival ar trebui să fie marcat de inaugurarea unei infrastructuri care să ajute competitivitatea turismului albanez în regiune, a anunțat premierul.Edi Rama a vorbit despre dezvoltarea structurii rutiere care va face legătura cu Muntenegrul, dar și despre creșterea numărului de pasageri prin transportul aerian prin creșterea capacităților aeroportuare.„Lucrările la aeroportul din Vlora (localitate pe malul mării, n.r.) se vor finaliza probabil până la sfârșitul acestui acest an. He is also professor of trombone at Duquesne University and faculty member at the Cleveland Institute of Music where he teaches a course on Music Entrepreneurship and Digital Media as well as coach chamber music. In addition to the Pittsburgh Opera, Mr. Vera has played with the symphonies of Dallas, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Buffalo, Kennedy Center Opera House, Malaysian Philharmonic, New York City Ballet, Vermont, Harrisburg, Charleston, American Ballet Theatre, and Orquesta Sinaloa de las Artes in Mexico amongst others.  He began his studies with Jon Bohls in Texas and continued his education at Southern Methodist University where he studied with John Kitzman of the Dallas Symphony. He then spent a year studying with Ed Zadrozny as a graduate assistant at the University of Akron, and finished his graduate work in New York City at the Mannes College of Music studying with David Finlayson and James Markey of the New York Philharmonic.     In 2011, he spent the summer in Haiti volunteer teaching and performing in the Orchestre Philharmonique Sainte Trinite as well as the Ecole de Musique Dessaix Baptiste which became one of the more profound experiences of his life.   A dedicated chamber musician, he also was a founding member of the critically acclaimed Guidonian Hand Trombone Quartet in which he played from 2008-2014. With the quartet, John performed over 100 concerts and gave master classes all over the country. Heralded by the New York Times for their "expertly played performances" they have been recipients of numerous national grants which have enabled them to commission countless composers to create new and innovative works for four trombones.  In 2014 was the premiere of River of Fundament, a movie by film artist Matthew Barney, in which John recorded for and acted in along with the quartet.  Mr. Vera can also be heard on the HBO documentary The Words that Built America as well as on euphonium in the PBS documentary Abraham and Mary Lincoln, A House Divided as well as many commercial and video game soundtracks as well as James Markey's solo release, “On Base”. Truly an escape from the distractions of everyday life, the festival is nestled in a dense forest along the coast where happening across roaming deer is a common occurrence. The Retreat utilizes facilities all over the town from churches to coffee houses to historic barns to the beach.  We will perform not only for ourselves, but for the community. A fulfilling life of being a musician does not simply begin and end with winning an orchestral or teaching position.
