Marathon (van Bungie) The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered South of Midnight Retro-rubriekBNR-collega Paul Nollet deelt zijn bijzondere herinnering aan Rayman 2: The Great Escape. Over All in the GameAll in the Game is de podcast over games voor iedereen. Het komt allemaal aan bod in All in the Game. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

From substitute teacher to energy drink mogul, Jack Owoc rode a wave of caffeine to build Bang Energy into a billion-dollar empire. Bang promised to make you smarter, stronger, and immune to hangovers. Turns out, the only thing it boosted was CEO Jack Owoc's bank account. But when Monster came for his market share and the music industry came for his TikToks, Jack learned that no amount of “super creatine” could keep him out of bankruptcy court.Emma Willmann (Crashing, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and Anjelah Johnson-Reyes (MadTV, Funjelah) join Misha to drink up all the juicy details of how America's third largest energy drink company came and went in just a decade.Follow The Big Flop on the Wondery app or wherever you get your podcasts. Last week's release of Dynasty Warriors Origins inspired us to spend this episode looking at five of the best games to bear one of the industry's most-overused words in their titles (Origins, of course). Then we'll get into Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, reactions to the Switch 2 reveal, Marvel Snap getting temporarily swallowed by the TikTok ban, and the earliest games you remember adding to your backlog. Question of the Week: What's your favorite prequel and/or origin-story game? Break song is Black Betty/Castle Rock (as performed in Rayman Legends). Vidjagame Apocalypse theme by Matthew Joseph Payne.
Viper is joined by special guest King to discuss the essentials in life such as bottled water and the Tiger Game.com, plus a question is posed: what was the best priced retro console on release? In today's Daily Fix:Jesse Eisenberg believes his career has suffered since starring in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The film introduced Eisenberg as the Snyderverse's Lex Luthor, but was met with tepid reviews. The follow-up, Justice League, fared even worse, and Eisenberg wasn't even aware of the negative response. But despite his claims, Eisenberg's career has continued, and his writing/directing/starring effort, A Real Pain, is getting some real Oscar buzz. In other news, Assassin's Creed Shadows features what the devs are calling the series' fastest assassin yet. In fact, Naoe may have a specific running animation when on rooftops, which is prompting speculation that the "Naruto run" could be featured in the game. And in other Ubisoft news, a new game was stealth-dropped, this one featuring Rayman. But don't get your hopes up—it features NFTs.
O tom bude tento díl Retro not.

This week has been a hard one for Sony, with Concord being put to bed for good and Firewalk studios being closed. Bioware is hoping that Dragon Age: The Veil Guard will be a success and reviews seem to support that, but it may not be the whole story. Also in the news rumors of a Rayman remake from Ubisoft. Hot takes, trash opinions, buttery popcorn!
