Leaving corporate to enter the world of entrepreneurship is a very brave decision, and folx who find themselves on this path tend to be very strong and capable people. However, there are a lot of things that happen to us, both spiritually and physically, when we decide to leave very large establishments to follow the path of the deeper living that we're meant for. Our bodies must literally find a new source of energy, as for so long they've relied on a bigger institution to dictate time, money, and energy. Yet it is possible, my loves, as with so many things, it requires us to tune into our bodies to discover what we truly need. Sunshine is here looking for direction. She's recently left her corporate job, and is looking for business guidance on how to bring her most potent offer forward. Today, Sunshine and I have a meaningful conversation about societal programming, and how to spend time with your body and soul without the need to rush to the next opportunity. During her reading we explore: Over-giving, and how to ask for help How, with really big transitions in our life, the body needs time to energetically adjust Our collective and cultural fight against workaholism, alcoholism, perfectionism, and all the other isms How big establishments carry very heavy energetic imprints How when we leave these establishments, our body has to adjust to sourcing our power from somewhere else Illness, and the link between our identity and our immune system The upper self, the lower self, and the body as a living being I hope this reading gives you permission to not rush through your own process, despite all of the societal messages that tell you otherwise. Send Victoria a text message!I'm excited to share this episode with Amanda Popovski, in which we discuss everything related to being an empath or highly sensitive person (HSP).I could feel the energy behind the words Amanda used in her application, and the synergy I felt with her was one of being a kindred spirit. Sometimes, there are people in this world you click with, and it was refreshing not only to be and feel seen by Amanda but, more importantly, I hope she felt seen by me as well. This episode is a masterclass of sorts for empaths (HSPs). We discuss everything from personal growth and evolution as an empath (HSP), the energetics of what it means to be an empath (HSP), how it shows up in our lives, the challenges we face as empaths (HSPs) in a world that isn't exactly fully accepting of us deeply feeling and emotional beings, and how we can leverage this energy as our superpower. From childhood experiences as an empath (HSP), leaving corporate (against her family's wishes), people-pleasing, entrepreneurship, dating, friendships, and everything in between, I hope you feel seen in this episode, if you find, like myself and Amanda, where being an empath (HSP) has just seemed to feel like a cruel curse at times. This is a love note from Amanda and me to all empaths and HSPs. Dear fellow empaths/HSPs, You are a powerful and necessary force that is deeply needed in the fabric of humanity.

In today's Flashback Friday episode of the Share The Wealth Show, Clive Davis will be discussing a common misconception about passing W2 income to your heirs, and his journey of leaving the corporate world to provide his children with more opportunities and choices in life. ✨ After graduating from Columbia Law School, Clive worked for four years as a corporate transactional lawyer in Banking, Real Estate, M&A and Securities with a global Wall Street law firm, headquartered in NY, NY, with assignments in Menlo Park, CA and Hong Kong, China. Six years In-house counsel experience with a global pharmaceutical company, headquartered in New York. Nine years in Atlanta as a Chief Compliance Officer of a Belgian biopharmaceutical company. Clive holds a Juris Doctorate from the Columbia University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and before the Court of International Trade. He holds a M.A. from SUNY at Albany and a B.A., with high honors, Rutgers University. Throughout the entirety of this twenty-year career, he remained actively invested in real estate with a small portfolio of holdings. Clive decided 2017 was the time and walked away from corporate life in pursuit of his interests and passion as a full-time real estate investment entrepreneur. Since founding Park Royal Capital in 2017 Clive Davis has personally invested in more than 2,500 multifamily rental units, as well as a portfolio of hotels based in Atlanta where he has resided since 2005. Most recently Park Royal Capital acquired two Atlanta multifamily properties totaling 444 units with a combined value of over $70M. So, join us as we dive into Clive's journey and the importance of building wealth and creating opportunities for the next generation! ________________________________ Interested in investing in small multifamily? So, you've got to be thinking about, If I am blessed to be highly compensated, what am I doing to convert that high W2 income into appreciating assets that are going to contribute to the creation of generational wealth.” - Clive Davis “When I talk about generational wealth, I'm talking about impacting my not yet conceived grandchildren. So, I already know my kids are going to be fine, but I'm talking about leaving something that my grandchildren, who may or may not come to know me, they will be fine based upon the foundation that I've set for them.” - Clive Davis “I wanted them (my kids) to have the privilege to be able to select the thing that they are truly passionate about. How did Graham get to this place of beginning the Understanding the Science of You Podcast? In this introductory episode, Graham reflects on his journey, which began with a 21-year corporate career, and culminated in recognizing he had "checked all his success boxes" only to find he was inherently unhappy. Leaving corporate, he began a walkabout journey that gave him a deep trust and belief in the universe, with a drive to help individuals find themselves and their purpose. He speaks about his understanding of accommodations: the tools, technologies, philosophies and perspectives that take us from our current state to our most productive state. He acknowledges how these accommodations, often taken for granted, become glaringly essential when absent. He dives into his personal journey leaving that executive role, which he likens to a bitter divorce. He opens up on the struggle, frustration, and cry for help he experienced during this period, now appreciating this period as an essential step in his journey towards self-discovery, fulfillment, and authenticity. He further encourages listeners to be more open and vulnerable to receive the offered help. On his exploration of healing modalities, he notes the common essence that resonates with everyone, asserting that there's something to learn from everyone and everything. Closing, Graham discusses his Podcast motivations: sharing insights on self-discovery and personal intricacies, hoping to spark thought-provoking comments and reflections from the listeners. His ultimate goal is to demonstrate different ways of living and inspire others to embrace vulnerability, understand their needs, and ultimately, cultivate a more genuinely happy and productive life.

As Pinky Patel and I sat down to record, we couldn't help but reminisce about the time my sister took the cricket-eating dare, setting off a cascade of laughter that echoes through our memories. That's the magic of humor—it not only connects us but serves as a compass through the maze of cultural expectations and the journey toward self-acceptance. This episode is all about those moments, the ones that stitch us closer and remind us that authenticity, especially in the face of social media's relentless pressure, is a form of rebellion we should all partake in. We then strip back the layers of performance to reveal the vulnerabilities that come with standing in the limelight. Growing up amid the rich tapestries of Italian and Jewish culture, I found strength in comedy to face insecurities and stage fright. As Pinky and I share our stories, we uncover the dualities of our cultural identities and the sometimes harsh realities of family expectations versus personal aspirations. Our conversation is a tribute to the arts, the emotional rollercoaster of leaving stable careers for uncertain passions, and the incredible support systems that buoy us along the way. Our laughter carries us into deeper waters, where we tackle topics that often lurk in the shadows. We address the complexities of motherhood and mental health, the transformative journey through therapy, and the cultural stigmas that can shroud these discussions in silence. We celebrate the bonds of friendship, explore the importance of setting boundaries for personal well-being, and embrace new chapters in life with open arms. From hysterectomies to heartfelt fan connections, this episode is a testament to the resilience and joy that come from supporting each other, laughing together, and embracing the full spectrum of life's experiences. --------- EPISODE CHAPTERS --------- (0:00:00) - The Power of Laughter and Friendship (0:03:21) - Overcoming Stage Fright and Anxieties (0:14:06) - Navigating Cultural Expectations and Achieving Success (0:22:43) - Balancing Comedy and Family Support (0:29:54) - Boundaries and Support in Friendship (0:42:23) - Taboo Subjects and Mental Health (0:53:44) - Discussion on Literature and Sexuality (1:00:34) - Leaving Corporate for Pursuing Passion (1:08:14) - Support, Inspiration, and Hysterectomies (1:15:41) - Family Support and New Ventures
