La segunda parte nos conduce a terrenos más abrasivos: la electricidad cruda de Pales, el post-punk afilado de Empereur y el gélido letargo de Rats of Rafts. Storms and floods have recently caused great devastation in north-east Australia. Now the authorities have identified another danger posed by the wild weather: the red fire ant, an invasive species that causes great damage in parts of Australia, uses the water masses to form ant rafts and "travel" to other parts of the country. The ants pose a threat.
