On January 23, 2026, the South Dakota Senate State Affairs Committee voted after hearing public testimony on Convention of States Action's Article V application for proposing fiscal restraints, jurisdictional constraints, and term limits on the federal government. On February 17 the Idaho House Committee on Judiciary, Rules, and Administration held a public hearing on our Article V application (HCR 10) to rein in federal power as well as our 34Ready bill (HCR 9) which would set the procedural rules for selecting and guiding commissioners to an Article V convention.
