Send us a textWelcome to The Bible Project Daily PodcastEpisode Title: The Benefits of Justification by Faith – Part One Text: Romans 5:1–11Welcome to this first part of our dive into Romans 5! Today, we begin unpacking the life-changing benefits that flow from being justified by faith. After laying the groundwork in the first four chapters, Paul now shifts to reveal what this justification means for our lives—right now and forever.
Hell is a topic that even Christians don't like. And a big part of it is that it is hard to reconcile a loving God with a place of eternal punishment. So how do we work this out?
In this message, Pastor Ken continues our Prayers of Jesus series with a raw and powerful look at one of Jesus' final prayers on the cross: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” If you've ever felt like God was distant or silent, this message will help you find hope, understand the depth of Jesus' suffering, and discover how to pray with honesty and faith—especially when God doesn't seem to show up.Send us a text
In week 5 of Hearing God, Pastor Brandon walks us through 1 Kings 19. While reflecting on Elijah's journey from a high point of faith to a low point of despair, he reminds us God still speaks to us in our moments of struggle.
Revelation 15–16 gives us a look at the final crescendo of God's justice. His wrath isn't unjust or cruel—it's the necessary and holy response of His love as He refuses to let evil go unpunished. As judgment is poured out in seven bowls, we're reminded again and again that God is righteous, holy, and trustworthy. The invitation to flee His wrath is still open—and the time to respond is now.Key Themes:· The Good Wrath of God: God's wrath is not contrary to His love—it flows from it. Just as love protects what it cherishes, God's wrath comes against all that harms His creation. (Revelation 15:1; Romans 1:18)· Songs of the Redeemed: The saints sing the song of Moses and the Lamb—songs of victory and deliverance from their great enemies. Worship in heaven is God-centered, not self-centered. (Revelation 15:2-4)· Recapitulation and Judgment: Revelation uses multiple viewpoints—seven seals, seven trumpets, and now seven bowls—to show the same unfolding judgment with growing intensity. (Revelation 15–16)· God's Wrath Is Finished: With the final bowl poured out, the wrath of God is declared finished. Evil collapses. Babylon—the symbol of rebellion—is destroyed. (Revelation 16:17-21)· The Justice of God: Even heaven celebrates God's judgments, declaring them just and true. (Revelation 16:5-7)· The Call to Repentance: Again and again, the unrepentant curse God rather than turn to Him. The window of mercy remains open, but not forever. Judgment is both horrifying and comforting—it glorifies God and vindicates the faithful. (Revelation 16:8-11)· Armageddon and the Final Stand: The forces of evil gather for a final rebellion. Yet even this is under God's control. The King of kings will win, and no power of darkness can stop Him. (Revelation 16:12-16)Reflection:The wrath of God should sober us—but it should also comfort us. Evil will not win. Justice will prevail. And mercy is still available. Will we harden our hearts, or will we respond in repentance and awe? Jesus Christ has absorbed the wrath of God for those who are His. In Him, we are safe—forever.Key Texts:·Revelation 15–16·Exodus (plagues and the song of Moses)·Romans 1:18 (the wrath of God revealed against sin)·Psalm 139:23-24 (search me and know me)·John 19:30 (“It is finished”)Support Our Mission:Your generosity helps us proclaim Christ as King and equip disciples to make disciples.https://alloflife.churchcenter.com/givingVisit Our Website:www.alloflife.church#Revelation14 #ChristIsKing #ForkInTheRoad #TheLambWins #EnduranceInFaith
We all want God to work in big, dramatic ways—lightning bolts, miracles on demand. But what if He asks you to do something that seems... pointless?Naaman, a powerful commander, had leprosy. Desperate for healing, he expected a grand gesture—a prophet waving his hands, calling on God with power. Instead?
In Mark 5, Jesus responds to the faith of both a desperate father and a suffering woman, demonstrating His power over illness and death. While Jesus always healed those with faith in the Gospels, this sermon explores why God sometimes says "no" to our faithful prayers today.
What does it mean to remain in the waiting, even if, even when? Just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego said, We will stand for our God Who is able to save us, but if He does not, we will STILL not serve your false gods. They were willing to remain waiting on the Lord, even if, and even when, He didn't show up as they might hope He would. Here's the question, are we able to stand like this in the things the Lord has called us to do? Even if, even when it doesn't look like He is showing up for us? We need to understand what the Word says about being obedient, about waiting, and about standing fast, even if and even when we don't understand. Join me in this episode as we dive into this discussion and dig into the Word together. PS. Don't forget that we are rebranding here, so Kingdom Academy Podcast will change names in the next month or so to Resist & Roar Podcast. Our study continues in 1st Peter 4 verses 1 thru 6. Dr. Mitchell deals with the conduct of the believer in his walk with the Lord in doing the will of God. Dr. Mitchell brings out that Christ's whole life was about doing the will of God. The believer is to have this same mind as Christ. In Philippians 2:5 we are exhorted to have this mind which was in Christ Jesus who did the will of God by humbling Himself. Dr. Mitchell shares John 8:29 where Jesus says, "I always do the things that please Him" that is, God His Father. In these verses, the one who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin. What does that mean? Dr. Mitchell explains. Let's open our Bibles and turn to 1st Peter 4 verse 1 with Dr. Mitchell, here on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast.

Have you been walking through hard circumstances and you felt like you just needed to voice those feelings and frustrations to God and maybe even wrestle with him about why you are in these circumstances? Oh friend, I don't know if you realize it, but that is one of the steps of lament. I am so excited to Mark Vroegop on the podcast this week as we focus on what it means to lament. I think sometimes people are confused about this word, so I cannot wait to talk about his book, *Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy: Discovering the Grace of Lament. He truly has so much wisdom on this—you don't want to miss this episode. Also, Oct 15th is pregnancy and infant loss Remembrance Day and I know this is part of both Mark's story as well as mine, so he will be sharing his story that birthed this book and then we will dive deeper into lament. Whether this is part of your story or not, I know there is so much truth in this episode especially his definition of lament and the 4 key elements. If you are walking through grief, you do not want to miss what he has to say. Also, I am so excited for someone to win a copy of Mark's book: *Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy. Hey friends! Welcome to Girls' Night! I'm so excited because today we're revisiting an amazing conversation I had with my dear friend, Hanna Seymour, a few years ago. If this is your first time meeting her, Hanna is an amazing writer, mentor, Bible teacher, and she's the host of an incredible podcast called No Matter What with Hanna Seymour. She's also one of my closest friends, and I just love the conversation we have in store for you! Here's a little bit of background on this episode before we dive in: So, awhile back, I got a message from one of our listeners that just stopped me in my tracks. I'm going to read it to you. She said, “Hey Stephanie, I have been listening to Girls Night for awhile now, and hearing you and your guests talk a lot about God and having a relationship with Him. I am not a Christian, but I think I might want to be one. I think I might want to have a relationship with God, but I'm not sure what that really means, or where to start. Can you help me?” I LOVED her question because I remember exactly where I was when I was asking the very same thing. Also, as I was writing her back, I realized that there really aren't very many resources to help with this specific moment in faith. If you go to church, or read a book about Christianity, or listen to a Christian podcast, you're usually walking in the middle of the story. It's sort of assumed that you've started the journey, that you have some background information about God and Jesus, and for a lot of us, that's not true. When I became a Christian, I didn't know ANYTHING about God or Jesus. I had been to church a few times, but I didn't remember a thing from it. I really was starting from square one. (You'll get to hear more of that story today!) In this episode, you'll hear me ask Hanna all of the questions I was asking at the very beginning of my faith journey. Questions like: What does it mean to have a relationship with God? How do we actually begin a relationship with God? What kind of life change should we expect to see in becoming a Christian? And what if we become a Christian but our lives don't really change? What do we do then? How do we put our full hope and trust in God, even when we can't physically see Him? And that's just the beginning. If you are new to your faith journey, or if you're like, “I'm not a Christian, but I have some questions,” this episode is for you. But also, if you've been a Christian for awhile, or even for your whole life, this episode is for you too. I think so many of us come to a place where our faith just feels a little bit stale. We've been doing this forever, and so in some ways, it's become routine. I know for others of us, we've been a Christian for a long time, but we've never really had a big transformation moment with God. We hear other people talk about how much God has changed their lives, and while we would LOVE to experience God in such a tangible, life-changing way, that just hasn't been our story. If you're in either of those places, I know this episode will really help. Guys, I have to be honest with you: This is my favorite episode about faith that we have ever done here on the podcast, and I can't wait to dive in. Learn more about your ad choices.
