Dr. Jennifer Forestal, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Loyola University Chicago, discusses how digital platforms can be approached from an architectural perspective. Dr. Forestal shares insights from her latest book, Designing for Democracy, where she evaluates digital platforms' democratic potential from the lens of political theory. The episode breaks down a framework for how to assess the democratic quality of social media platforms by examining their degrees of boundaries, durability, and flexibility. Dr. Forestal reveals how these properties can be illustrated by the cases of Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit.

Klarheit in deine Finanzen bekommen. E-Mail Marketing, Flyer drucken, Facebook, Instagram, Social Media etc. Was funktioniert für die Zielgruppe? Was funktioniert für dich?

Play Episode Listen Later May 13, 2022 22:53

Today’s episode is all about formatting graphic posts for social media. With a wide range of social platforms, keeping up with the formats can be a challenge.Understanding the platform your target audience are using will provide a better social experience. Each platform has many features, new ways to post, share and create content. All of these can be leveraged by repurposing content to other formats and platforms.Once you know what platform you’re going to use, you can then start to focus on the content. How you format graphics is different for each platform. This means that the format you post on one platform may not be suitable for another. Here’s a quick cheat sheet to help you out.A quick win, when you don’t have a lot of time to create multiple variations of one image, is to use square graphics. This format works on pretty much all the platforms. It’s a quick win if you haven’t got the time to create multiple versions of the same graphics.Stay safe and enjoy the episode.
