This BTVS Fanfiction will take place after Angel Season 5's 'Not Fade Away.' Wesley, Angel and Spike are alive but not Gunn and Ilyria and she can't ever be resurrected since she's a god. Having no city to protect and now lives in LA to be saving since the city is destroyed by the Dragon, they decide to head to Cleveland to join the Scoobies. Well, they have news for Angel and Spike. Buffy had been captured by Quentin and kralik. You see the old head of the Council had Giles manipulate her again by giving her another Cruciamentum. Then, Travers resurrected the evil Demon from Hell. Now that he's back, he's going to r***, torture and turn Buffy. Once Spike and Angel show up for the rescue, they will be shocked and angered, especially Spike. This is a Spuffy prompt with Fangel and Wesley will find love with Willow. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/valerie-harvey/message
How does this episode play a role in Willow's arc? Does Spike's speech foreshadow Spuffy? Is this version of Spike better than the Spike of seasons 6 and 7? Join Sarah, Tabby, Leah, and guests Crissy and Lea, as they discuss how this episode ties into the rest of the series.
We're going 90s for this special halloween episode and reading a three-part Spike/Buffy story by Verity Watson. Is it acceptable for vampires to kill people? Were cargo pants ever sexy? Why is Spike/Buffy called Spuffy and not Spiffy? That last one is not a rhetorical question, I'm genuinely asking. In this episode we begin our discussion of OTPs with an a in depth analysis of the relationship between Spike and Buffy and why the Spuffy ship features so heavily in the BTVS fandom. The podcast I reference here is Still Pretty by Chipperish Media hosted by Lani Diane Rich and Noelle Lacroix. Specifically, I would recommend listening to their episode on Seeing Red- the analysis is nuanced and in-depth and gives the characters the exactly what they deserve. It's over and he is devastated. He knows that magic comes with a cost, but desperate times call for desperate measures. There's got to be something to help ease the pain. He heads to The Magic Box hoping to make a deal with Anya, only to find her chatting all cozy-like with the demon who once called herself Halfrek and broke his pathetic human self's heart. That's okay. There are other places in Sunnydale where a clever vamp can find himself a spot of magic. In fact, Spike might just know himself a rather softhearted witch. Will Tara give him the magic he wants? Or might she just give him something even better?

Glory is upon us! This week on Headcanon, we’re talking the first half of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season 5 (13:46). We’ll be covering s05e05 “No Place Like Home,” s05e07 “Fool For Love,” and s05e12 “Checkpoint” — along with assorted thoughts about some other episodes in the first half of the season. Spuffy is getting closer to a reality, Dawn’s not real, the Watcher’s Council are still a bunch of pricks, and Joyce isn’t feeling so well.

No good deed goes unpunished, and so Michael Holland pays for being such a great guest last week, where we got to discuss one (maybe two?) of the best episodes in the entire series. His penance? He’s back with me again, which is perhaps punishment enough, but in fact he’s here to talk about Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes 508, “Shadow” and 509, “Listening to Fear.” In the former he’s forced to endure the worst CGI snake demon the show ever conjures up, and in the latter he struggles to survive the show’s embarrassing X-Files envy. (That’ll teach him to be so smart and fun, huh?) Next: PhD student, Slayage contributor, and fellow Spuffy fanatic Jessica Hautsch returns to discuss episodes 510, “Into the Woods” and 511, “Triangle.” THE BREAKDOWN Run Time: 01:25:50 00:00:55 - Intro / Guest 00:04:00 - Main Topic 01:18:15 - Outro / Next THE LIBRARY Library Closed For Filing - Please Come Back Tomorrow THE LINKS Michael’s Blog - Holland Imaginarium THE MUSIC “Conversations (feat. PhD student, Slayage contributor, and shadowy, mysterious Spuffy fanfic author Jessica Hautsch makes her Conversations with Dead People debut! Together we find the titular troublemakers in 407, “The Initiative” to be non-mixy things, possibly even a little bit world-breaky? In 408, “Pangs,” as is usually the case with Thanksgiving gatherings there are things we really love and things we really don’t. And finally, Spike pops the question to Buffy and is welcomed into the family with open arms in 409, “Something Blue.” What is up with the creepy TA/student power dynamics? Did the show just blatantly foreshadow an important character development in Angel Season Five? And what is even holding Sunnydale up at this point? Enjoy your ritual sacrifice with pie, everybody! Next: my good, loud, punk rock friend Kenn Edwards unplugs and joins me to discuss episode 410, “Hush.” The entire conversation will take place via dry erase boards, which ought to make for a pretty interesting podcast. Melanie Scala is back and we’re gettin’ all Clan of the Cave Beer in the cemetery this week. Somehow neither one of us were drunk during this recording. Also, hashtag Beeranderthals! It's your lucky day. Two Slayers. No waiting. It's two for the price of one as Noelle and Lani welcome Kendra to town, love up on Oz, and celebrate the sapling that will grow to become Spuffy ship in "What's My Line?" (S2.9-10).
It is the finale of season 2! Buffy is forced to face off against Angel in the inevitable showdown. We're so close to the end folks! Which makes it all the nicer to get a beautiful character episode like this so close to the end! Amanda and Andrea talk about how much they love Spuffy in this ep, and talk through all the lovely little extra touches that are in this episode.
A heartbroken Willow is casting spells with amazing consequences like blinding Giles, making Xander a demon magnet, and 'forcing' Buffy and Spike to get engaged. This week we're chatting about crimped hair, Riley's gross driving metaphors, and our first real Spuffy-service episode in Buffy 409, 'Something Blue' For more Hot Chicks with Superpowers: Emily just watched the new Netflix movie 'The Incredible Jessica James' starring Jessica Williams. While the film may not be the best, Williams' performance is fantastic. Hannah just saw a preview screening of 'Dolores' about the life of activist Dolores Huerta who was instrumental in gaining farmers rights in the United States and fought alongside Chavez for labor equality. Haley has been reading 'The Queue' by Basma Abdel Aziz (translated by Elisabeth Jaquette) for Women in Translation Month. Please support other excellent lady authors and encourage authors to translate their books!
In "After Life", Buffy returns, but it's not the happy homecoming the Scoobies envisioned. While the Slayer attempts to acclimate herself to resurrection, a nougat-filled demon possesses the group. The ghosty will disappear in time, unless it succeeds in killing Buffy first. Kristen and Mike compare Dawn and Spike's approach to the newly-returned Slayer to the Scoobies' method of "bombard you with questions and then get over it." The Summers' home is "Flooded" (see what I did there?). To pay for the repairs, Buffy applies for a loan at the bank, where she chases off a demon-for-hire named M'Fashnik. But who hired him? Meet the Trio - Jonathan, Warren, and Andrew, who are on a mission to "take over Sunnydale". We delve into the Trio's masterful plan, and examine the foreshadowing of Willow's turn this season and the Spuffy relationship. PLUS! What did Anya do with her stock market earnings? And what did Giles do in England?
