This is the Monday I've been waiting for! It's the Monday after Thanksgiving Day, 2023! And the Christmas Album, “We Need A Little Christmas” is finally available! We are making this 10 song Christmas project available online via Facebook, Soundcloud, my website and Youtube. There are links in the description, but here is a quick synopsis of what to expect from the various venues. Facebook will have some of the songs from the album as Music Mondays through the holidays. Soundcloud will have all 10 songs, in a playlist, as individual songs as well as one track that contains all 10 songs. On Youtube, there will be the individual songs set against my flugelhorn friend and partner in this endeavor, Lynn Nash's outdoor fireplace that he and his wife, Katie, decorated. It is the band's first album to feature current drummer Eric Singer, following the death of former drummer Eric Carr in November 1991 and is the group's last album to feature musical contributions from the latter. Which is what he did with his debut album KooolWorld Williams knows a lot about the music industry, coming from a very successful musical family. His grandfather wrote the number one smash hit 'Get a Job', for the Philadelphia-based doo-wop group, The Silhouettes, and his father was the founder of the group Breakwater and producer of the disco hit "Catch Me I'm Falling" by Pretty Poison. So it's no surprise that he produced, wrote, and rapped on every track of KooolWorld. William has made a lot of connections throughout the years and knows how hard it is to break into the music industry. That's why for the production of this album, Williams didn't use his famous connects, but instead used unknown artists with amazing talent, and started his own production company called KooolWorld. Why, you might ask, because Williams wanted to let aspiring artist know that you don't need to name drop or sell your soul to record companies to get a deal. All you have to do is make good quality music and the CD's will sell themselves. That's why Williams' album is unlike anything that has ever come from a Philly artist: uplifting, yet you could still dance to it in the clubs.
